Hi there, before I formatted my HD I had pasted a line in my A/C config file for PIC so that when the A/P was engaged it would ignore Joystick inputs. If anyone knows this line please post it here.Thanks.

When I am getting close to landing on approach, sometimes I want to take over and manually have control of my heading and have the autopilot keep control of the altitute and airspeed, in other aircraft (like the default MS ones) you can disengage anything at anytime (not like I ever fly them, but I tested it out). Is it possible to do this?-Drew Anderson

Hey guys, well when I get PIC767 can i just copy and apste the panel and the sounds rather than use this complicating merge thingy? Wouldn't copy and pasting be easier or doesn't things like FMC work properly?Also what is default zero fuel weight of POSKY 767?Ali.

Allright.. What the HECK am I doing wrong ?Every time, and I mean EVERY time I come in for landing with the 767PIC, the undercarriage breaks down.. I'll repeat myself.. it happens E V E R Y time I come in for landing.. Doesn't matter where, when or whatever..The undercarriage breaks down like they were made of cardboard boxes..Like this flight I just had.. The smooothest spproach/"landing" I've seen in my time as an active simmer.. Had a final approach speed of just over 165kts, flaps set to 25, spoilers armed and the approach was so smooth.. Hey, I would like to ask some questions:1. Failures: you want to expect any failure during the flight or at least for a first tryal a single engine failure after take off with PIC. What settings do you need to configure?2. Using the panel on a 757: a) ZFW - what values do we need to use?:( Is there a file for loading passengers and cargo like some other planes of ZFW is the same all the time? What should we configure for a 757-200?3. I am quite confused by the manuals. Hi to all PIC 767 users. i just bought this CD today and need help with installing. I am running Windows XP pro with FS2002. do I ignore the prompt to install in FS2000 as it asked me to do? i did it as the manual told me to do and when i started fs2002 (I also installed the patch from the website) the plane was listed under aircraft but when i selected it i got an error message telling me there was no visual aircraft. i obviously did something wrong so if there is anyone out there who can help me out please reply to this message!!!

I have three monitors using extended desktop running PIC: #1 with the main instrument panel (primary monitor) #2 with overhead and #3 with FMC and Pedestal. I am able to undock and drag the panels to their respective monitors; however, once I return to the main panel with my mouse, I am unable to scroll back over with my mouse to either monitor (I am locked in Panel #1). Here recently I created a new airport and renamed it VHH1 to work with the Old Kai Tak intl Airport but every time I try to enter VHH1 in the FMC it gives me an error " Airport Not In Database" I went into fs2002/FMCWP/navdata and found a lot of text file and a few folders but I don't know how to add this airport to the database. Cold anyone tell me how to add this airport manually that way I can enter it to the FMC to flight into this airport?Best Regards,Selby

Hi there am fairly new to this flight sim thing having just purchasaed fs2002 a few wweeks ago. I have discovered however to my great disappointment that pretty much all of the default planes suck in terms of graphics and more importantly flight dynamics-- they are just too easy to fly. with that in mind i would appreciate all your input as to which 3rd party sim is the best to buy of the above two choices which from all my research seems to hav4e gotten the most attention? I want the most realistic in terms of flight modelling, graphics, etc,etc. thanks to all replies, gooper

Hi, a querie. If I have already mastered Dreamfleet 737 and it's FMC, not completely mastered but you know what I mean, the flight planning and everything from takeoff speeds to SIDs etc.Then shouldn't I have a problem taking on the PIC767 with no problem whatsoever when I get it or do I need to completely learn from scratch?Many thanks my friends.Ali.

I'm looking for some new liveries for the PIC 767 that will work well. My external view frame rates are quite slow, but also I want to fly with some different liveries. Can anyone point me in their direction?Thanks,Jason.

Hi to all users of this forum. Just came across this website the other day that offers full motion sim rides (courtesy of Air canada I am assuming) on 767, DC-10, A320 plus a couple of others. With the demise of United airlines pilot-for-a-day program i do not know of any other outfit that offers full motion sim rides in North america. the website is: www.smartt.com/~simflts/ P.S. if anyone knows of other companies that offer full motiom sim rides polease let me know, now that i have just bought PIC 767 I am looking forward to learning this incredible addon for FS2002 and use it as a stepping stone to trying out a full motion sim one day regardless of price!!!

Hi all, :-zhelpJust wondering if someone could explain ZFW a little. I am operating the POSKY 767-300 with PIC panel. Is ZFW the aircraft weight before fuel is loaded? Obvious I know but you know in aviation somethings are not so obvious!How do I work out ZFW on my aircraft and also reserve fuel. In the FMC, say for a flight from EGKK to LEPA and return I load 36678kgs of fuel. What should I put in the reserves? is it a % of the 36678kgs or extra on top of the fuel loaded?Again how do I calculate take off and landing weights? Is there a tutorial (basic for me) on how to do all this. I hate just putting in figures and not doing it properly and also hoping for the be…

Hello everyone, I'm writing about this strange problem I'm experiencing with the bleed air/air conditioning system during preflight. Never got to write about it until now.When I load the "dark cockpit" (KSFO-CYYZ First Delivery) or when loading the a panel state wherein the APU is already turned on, there seems to be a lack of pressure in the bleed air system causing none of the packs and recirculation fans to work. The only way I can get the pneumatic pressure to normal is through (1) starting the engines and then shutting down, or to get at least 1 pack working, to shutoff one isolation valve.Anybody with the same problem?help much appreciated!thanks in advance!http…

Hello Anybody.I have been trying to help a friend get the PIC and PIC/Posky merge running on his system with XP. one flight will go perfectly smooth and then the next one will crash back to the desktop with various different error messages. sometimes after 1hr flying and sometimes after 3 hours, it's never consistent as far as the time it takes to crash the system. He has the 2002 patch and the latest merge files. I have checked all his files against Mine and they look good.. I have never had a problem with any aircraft including PIC or PIC/Posky. Has anyone else with XP experienced these kind of anomalies.ThanksGWN214/AAL314

I looked carefully through the manual but couldn't locate a section on how to simply reinstall some of the PIC767 aircraft/liveries into FS2002.I have the CD version of PIC767 already on my system but not all liveries. (FS2002 Pro, Win 98)Tried the Add/Remove function on Win 98, but it kept giving me a message "Do you wish to completely remove all components"? The same message appeared when loading the CD into my drive.I naturally clicked "No". Then no action occurs.Am I supposed to click "Yes" and will then get the option to install some of the liveries or will it just go ahead and uninstall?Appreciate any help!Best Wishes,Steveaka -767
