However, in the spot view I could see that the slats had …

767 fans,I have read some posts regarding the Go-Flight modules and the ACP compact hardware. It looks like the greater part of you PIC-flyers uses no additional hardware to fly your 767. The reactions to the posts are almost none. Is everyone turning their controls with the mouse?I own an ACP compact (which was quite expensive) and it does not work with PIC. Switching to GoFlight won't help me, these also don't work. The upcoming MCP from Aerosoft Australia can only be used for MCP functions (e.g. no flaps, gear, radios, navs, etc.).The reason might be the programming of the panel by the PIC team. The ACP works fine with other 3rd party panels. I can only hope that there…

Hi,last I was on the Boeing HP and read about the 767-300ER technical specs. I saw on this site that the PW4062 engines have 63,300 lbs thrust. Then I went to the Aircraft file (Wilco) and there we have 61,500 lbs thrust for the GE engines. I was just wondering if this would have some performance changes if I would change this to the real thrust settings (e.g. PW 63,300 GE 62,100 and RR with 59,500 lbs) depending on the type of engines my model has.I would like to create my own livery with RR engines and thought about changing the Thrust power settings in the Aircraft file. Now would this have an effect on the FDE without changing anything else?I mean would I have less pow…

just want to know why when I programmed a route from ottawa to toronto direct with no waypoints etc when i reached my crz altitude of 18000 all of a sudden i got an altitude sound and the plane started to descend? is this because it did not have any waypoints programmed in between so theFMC did not know when to begin its descent and got confused?

For those of you that didn't notice it yet, Mike Stone released his GMax 752! I've already downloaded it and will try it tonight, no doubt!Anyone already tried it? Compined it with PIC panel? Impressions? And to make it clear, I'm not talking about the visual model, but for the flight dynamics.Fly safe,George DorkofikisAthens, GreecePS. For those interested in my 752 airfile testing, I didn't forget you guys. Real life obligations and some minor adjustments I'm doing after your comments have delayed the postage a bit... I'll send you the test airfile this weekend.

Hello all.Jaco du Preez and I were flying ANA's flight 1051, from Honolulu to Tokyo, yesterday night, and came up on a weird event, maybe a bug.As we try to do everything realistic, we started of at FL330, then step-climbed to FL370 (I was actually at FL365 to avoid crashing, since we were about one mile from each other and lag can have the best of you then!).We had LATLON waypoints, as there are no airways connecting Hawaii and Japan in a straight line. Approaching the middle of the flight, as Jaco was ahead of me, it happened before with him. I was surprised when he (with failures DISABLED) told me over the chat window he had just lost his PFD and ND (I believe the pr…

Does anyone know how to map the additional PIC panel functions to controller buttons? I've got both the CH USB Yoke and the CH Pro Throttle, and when I go into the PIC panel assignments, it does not recognize either controller. Any ideas? If I assign PIC functions to the controller buttons do they override the ones assigned through the FS Assigments screen? What happens when the pic panel is not loaded? Do the FS assigned function work? Thanks for any suggestionsPeter

Hi All, Just read the posts on the patch dated august on Wilco's site. On Wilco's site it lists patch 1.1 and a detailed list of what it does which sounds good. But, at the end, it says Do Not Patch with V1.1. HUH???I read posts about this patch only being for Aerosoft MCP's. No mention of that from Wilco. To install of not is the question. I would really appreciate anyone's input. I have PIC with the FS2K2 patch installed. Thanks!!!Regards,

Curious if anyone else has used PIC with the GoFlight modules, in particular the GF-45 unit which can be configured to have autopilot functions. When dialing HDG on the GF-45 the heading bug on the primary navigation dispay screen changes, but not the heading readout on the MCP (mode control panel). If I change the heading by using the mouse on the MCP, the heading on the GF-45 changes to match the heading on the MCP. Similarly, there is no response on the MCP to changes in ALT or speed on the GF-45, but the GF-45 changes if I change the settings for these items with the mouse on the MCP, Has anyone gotten the MCP functions to respond to the GF-45?Thanks,Rob

Hi I just wanted to know how much flaps I would need for a particular length of runway. On a 7000ft Runway can I use flap 5? Or I can only use 15 to have enough room to stop in time. What is the minimum length of runway I need before I can use flap 5. I mean I have the runway length chart but I don't understand why they have flap 20 on it when the manual says you only use 5 or 15. This is what I normally do please correct me if I am wrong. Thank You :-)Runway Length7000FT-11000FT =Flaps 1511000FT and higher Flaps 5

Greetings everyone,My panel state used to be saved when I save a flight. However, now, for example, when I open an AutoSave flight, my panel is not configured as it was when FS2002 crashed... Also, when I try and load a panel state, I no can no longer get the panel state to load properly. Does this have something to do with FSUIPC. It's frustrating because I just lost a flight to moscow halfway through, and now AutoSave is useless with the PIC 767! I appreciate any assistance. Thanks!Sincerely,Phil Geddes

Hi All, I have just dowloaded the latest POSKY 76-200 and aliased the PIC panel to her. I noticed the ZFW for this a/c is 248,000 rather than the 245,000 for the -300. Funny that it would be more for the -200???I tried doing the v3 merge from Lee and was not able to get it right after a couple of tries. Directions followed to a "T" and lord knows I've read the posts till almost blind. Confusion abound. My POSKY 762 with the PIC panel seems to work fine although I'm sure the fuel consumption etc as mentioned in other posts is off. It would seem I have the POSKY 767-200 with it's .air file and .cfg but using the PIC panel. All seems to be well without successfully co…

Hello to all,Although I do not master all systems in the 767, I can land the aircraft in auto land mode. Actually when I select LOC then APP the three autopilots will automatically engage at 1500 ft and I will make a perfect landing. However I understand this is not the normal practise and the pilot takes control of the aircraft for at least take-off and landing. So for landing the question is : Do you disconnect completely the autopilot or do you keep at least one autopilot. The procedure on this issue is not very clear in the check list and I have not seen anywhere "disconnect the autopilot".If the autopilot is disconnected, do you keep the autothrust ?An other question,…

Last I red here that the EADI is based on Airline restrictions. Does this mean that they use either a Standard-style or a Pegasus-style EADI? Or are there differences between the Aircrafts from one Airline. I like to fly longhauls with the DELTA 767 but as seen on many photos on AIRLINERS.net it seems to me that they use the Standard one. Question to Eric or other B767 pilots. When flying an non-precision approach in LNAV/VNAV, do you set the altitude selector to each altitude constraint on the approach including MDA when approprate, or do you set the selector down to zero (00000) to preclude mode change from VNAV to ALT HLD?Was practicing some approaches and noticed the constant changing from VNAV to ALT HLD and back to VNAV throughout the approach. I also had to open the speed intervention window each time VNAV was reselected since it went to estimated constraint speed (usually 200-plus knots). That got to be tedious at times.Suggesstions, airline procedures, or comments please?Rich Boll
