While I'm taxiing with my POSKY 767 or during the takeoff procedure, no wonder if there's wind or not, the plane keeps drifting to the left and sometimes to the right. Does anyone knows why this happens? I have to keep my rudder controls pointing at the opposite direction or the plane simply goes out of the runway... can anyone help? Thanks a lot!

i used the 767 takeoff_EX97 Rob V2.31beta to calculate the fuel i needed for a flight from EHAM to EGLL.With a fuel load of around 61,132lbs, i got the followign flap target speeds:1: 1735: 15910: 15620: 14425: 13930: 136are these correct?so basically this will mean when I'm flying at a speed of 180KIAS i should be at flaps 0?thanks in advance

First Hi to all,I sucessfully installed the POSKY/PIC merger yesterday, and all worked fine. Then it turned darker outside and i turned my Taxilights on. Worked fine, and the, on the runway i wanted to turn o the LandingLights, but what happend, was that the swith on the visible overhead turned the taxi lights off, and the outside turned even darker.Pressing the L-Key brought back all lights, including LandingLights. Then I tried the Switch on the Panel again, and i did not turn the LandingLights off, but switched it down to Taxi-Lights. Another Click on the Handle brought back the LandingLights, but the only way to turn lights off, was using theKeyboard again, and then i…

Hello all.If you don't yet know, there is a VATSIM-organized event this Saturday, September 28th, called Wicked Wichita. It will sport some of the worst IMC weather you have ever experienced, and should be an excellent challenge of your skills. There is little information at http://www.vatsim.net as of now, but basically all you need to know is that KICT, KIAB, KBEC and satellite airports will all be staffed between 1900-2300 Eastern Time (translates to 2300-0300 Zulu, or UTC).I know some of you like to fly from your home base to wherever the event of the weekend is, so it would be fun to plan a little trip so that we can "pick up" everybody on the way. For example, Ian …

Hi I was looking at the PIC Emergency Procedure Manual. It stated that after an engine failure you should climb out on a straight path. Does this mean you ignore the SID even if it requires an immediate turn to the left? Also during the departure briefing where does the captain obtain the safety altitude he mentions in the briefing, is it from the approach charts? And 1 last question, does the captain perform the briefing his own way or is there a specific airline format for that? Thank You. :-)

Ian, question about the 67's VVI: In PIC it's apparently integrated with the IRS systems (is not functional unless there is full alignment). I would have thought that the VVI would have been part of the pitot/static system as in other aircraft but obviously there is some advantage of using the IRS. Just wondering, what is the deal? Thanks very much, I always enjoy your insight on this stuff.

Hi All, I have been away from PIC so long that I must have forgotten something simple :-( When I program a route, I put in an altitude restriction say the last waypoint of a DP. The problem is that all my remaining waypoints are set to that altitude restriction and the waypoints before that restriction are incredably high. What am I missing? I have looked through the manuals, but I must have missed it.With thanks in advance :-waveLevPS. Just got the CH Yoke Pro and the Pro Pedals. Can anyone help me with setting up the sensitivities for max realism?

I'm having a reoccuring problem with PIC when assigning joystick button assignments.I want a joystick yoke button set up for autopilot disconnect (disconnect bar) on the custom control. I chose button #3 using the PIC custom control dialog box. This is the same one I chose for the autopilot master switch in FS2002 button assignment. For awhile, this worked just fine. Recently however, button 3 no longer works, it does not disconnect/reconnect autopilot. The button function correctly in FS2002. When I open the PIC custom control dialog box and try to update the button setting it immediately tells me that "the keyboard or joystick button you're selected is assigned to …

This is already posted on the Group Flight page at www.eleventhstreet.com/pic but I thought if I posted it here it might raise some eyebrows. This piece was written by Phillip Elchitz (yes we are related) who works at the Cranbrook airport. So here it is... Ian Elchitz CYWG----------------------------------CRANBROOK PROCEDURESCranbrook (CYXC) is an uncontrolled airport with a 24 hour flight service station. It has a mandatory frequency area which extends to 6000 feet and a five mile radius. Making contact with Cranbrook Flight Service is mandatory prior to entering the maneuvering area of the airfield (taxiways and runway environment.)Important: Cranbrook Radio does not …

Hi,Can anyone please tell me if it is possible to export a route from the 767 PIC FMC to FS2002 pln format? The reason I want to do this is because I use FS Meteo weather and the departure runways and SID's vary depending upon the prevailing conditions. My current procedure using PSS is to load the route into the FMC as normal and then after getting the correct ATIS I add the appropriate RWY & SID and then export it to FS2002 pln format, is this possible with 767 PIC?That way I can then use the FS2002 Flight Planner for ATC purposes and the two routes will be identical to prevent ATC directing me off somewhere else.I've gone through all the manuals but can't find anythi…

Mike handled it like a pro though!Unfortunately there is no American Airlines 76 model for the CSL library.http://www3.sympatico.ca/dpergau/jpgs/yxc-arrivals.jpgRegards,Dan Pergau
