I did a short flight from VHHH to Kaitak and so i only put 10% fuel in the two outboard tanks and 0 in the centre tank. all was going well until i saw the fuel config. message and then when I tried to bank it simply wouldn't let me . can some one explain if this is a problem with my aircraft or is this a safety feature on the 767?

Every so often when I select a SID/STAR, the little mouse cursor stays showing a hand and I can't do anything for about 5 minutes, and the hard drive seems to be rapidly loading something. After about 5 minutes, it just brings up the error dialog thing and flight sim shuts down.Anyone got a fix for this? I have tried selecting the runway before selecting the SID/STAR and vice versa but both seem to cause the error.

I have an USB MS sidewinder which works very well but also a CH propedals (RS232)that I used with my former joystick. Can someone point me in the right direction to find out how I can set them up together...Thanking you in advance,F-ALAIN

Hi allThis is strange. Until recently, if I was undertaking a long flight I'd often save it mid-flight then come back to it at another time - sort of carry on where I left off. Now, all of a sudden I find that, whenever I try and do this, the flight is completely unmanageable. The FMC not only no longer fails to control the flight, it seems completely u/s. Worse still, so is the autopilot. None of the controls on the AFDS has any effect.I am using Lee's PIC/POSKY merge setup (have been for a few months now) with Pete Dowson's fsuipc version 2.9.0.1. O/S is winXP. Until this started about two weeks ago everything was rock solid. I could save a flight anytime and, whe…

Can someone EMAIL me a good email address for, at least, one of the 767PIC team? I only have one of them but it appears to be no longer in use. No need to reply here. I will post a nameless thank you when received. Thanks in advance,

Hi AllWhen I arm the autospoilers I've noticed they automatically retract, I think when I disengage reverse thrust. Does this happen in the real plane? I often watch aircraft at Heathrow and very often they still have spoilers deployed as they turn off the runway.ThanksPaul

Hallo PIC pilots! After touching down and go around the FMC VNAV mode remains in VNAV descent. It was not possible for me to reset it for a normal flight to an alternate airport. What is the correct procedure after a touch and go to begin a normal flight with VNAV climb mode?happy landings,Rainer MeiselAustrian Virtual Airlineshttp://www.aua.com/virtual

hi !there are a couple of questions that puzzle me.hope someone can sort this out.if i plan a normal 2000 miles flight with 20 000 lbs reserves i get a fuel load of approx 90 000 lbs.zfw = 245at takeoff and after engagim vnav and autothrottle, climb power is set at about 104.3 and N1 reads 104.2 or 104.4 . ( from memory. may be wrong but the difference is negletible )the thing is, at criuse, i get calculated N1 value of 99.3 BUT N1 reads only 93.1. what is wrong ? i feel is the performance init at the fmc but i fail to figure what is wrong. also, i start at 350 but with 52.0 Klbs of fuel I get a max crz level of 415 . isn't this too much ??hope someone can sort this out.…

Hi,I have a question prompted by the discussion of landing views in 767 PIC, but applicable to any of the larger aircraft:Since the PF is seated to the left or right of the centerline(nose-to-tail) of the aircraft, his/her view of the runway is necessarily different to the plane's 'view'. I would like to know how he/she compensates for this offset, so as to line up correctly for the approach and landing? Many Thanks,Frank

I think I remember seeing a post about this before, but with Lee's excellent merge, for some reason autoland has the aircraft drop it's nose before the wheels touch the ground. Is there some sort of contact-point edit I need to make to correct this problem. Of course, the default PIC767's I have no problems with. Thanks!Sincerely,Phil Geddes

OK guys and Mike in particular.Just seen on the VATSIM-UK ng that RAF Leuchars is now fully operational for PAR ops into Rwy 09/27.Successful trials were carried out last week and the 'equipment' calibrated OK.So start planning your fly-in to bonny Scotland :-)

For anyone knowledgable... Are the F/O's EADI and EHSI and Captain's EHSI in this picture taken from a 757/767? I mean, is it the same "box" you put in the 734 and 757/767?http://www.airliners.net/open.file/272425/L/Martin767 fetishistIt's a lot like life and that's what's appealing

UAL35 from LAX, landing on 8L at Lago's PHNL! I would have posted these in the screenshots forum, but I don't think they would've appreciated them as much!Sincerely,Phil Geddes

Hi,This is not a long time I have PIC767 and I have several questions after doing a first successfull flight :1. I made an autoland but : - There as no rollout and the nose gear touched first - although I set an autobreak setting, it seemed that the aircraft was not breaking - During an autoland or not, do I have to arm the spoilers manually ? - I don't know the proper term in english but when the engines are reversed after touchdown to break, does it have to be set manually ?2. During the descent, I had no speed/altitude restrictions so the FMS calculated a simple T/D but surprisingly Vz was 3000 ft/min during the whole descent. I…

Hi to all pic users. I just wanted to know if there is a way to fix the air.cfg file so that I get more realistic stopping distances. i find that I can land on runways that in real life a 767 would never be able to land on because the short length but in PIC can pretty well stop on a dime so to speak- is this a PIC fault or is it a MSFS2002 problem/ also when landing in a crosswind i find the rudder very ineffective in straightening out the nose of the plane so i land pointing straight down the runway. how can i fix this issue? regards

Hello again, I was wondering why do pilots have to enter slope, rwy condition, wind, and temperature in the take-off ref pages if the FMC does not calculate any v speeds in real life??. They get performance data from charts and enter v speeds manually or through ACARS so I don't see why they have to fill this info except maybe for take off runway and derated Take-off temp. Thank You :-)

Hi I am looking for performance tables for the 767-300ER. I did a search but the links posted no longer are up. Does anyone know where I can get the tables? Thank You :-)

Help Please!!I reinstalled FS2002 and need to reinstall PIC 767 but my product Key will not work. If I remember correctly, it has to do with whether the key says the numeral 0 or the letter O. I've tried many combinations but no joy so far.Jim Golden, GySgt, USMC (Ret.)

The VFR view... revisited! lol Anyways, here's my view on approach to Anchorage, with a touch n go. I know you all have differing thoughts on how a VFR panel should look, but for the most part what do you all think???Thanks in advance for any feedback...Sincerely,Phil Geddesp.s. The F/D bars do work... I just didn't have anything in the FMC...

I don't know who it is who made a PIC 767VIEW but I can remember it looking very nice indeed! Any chance in sharing the menu? or emailing it to me :)

G'Day all, on my last trip I managed to borrow a digital camera from a friend, so I've taken lots of random photos hehe.I'll post them up here as I get time. This lot occured after landing in Perth and recieving a REV ISLN light, and IDLE DISAGREE on taxi in.http://www.users.on.net/roope/KIF_0455.JPGAs you can see the left engine is still in reverse. After a few attempts at cyling the reverse thruster nothing happened, so we were forced to shut down still in reverse. It turned out that the outboard half of the cowl had returned to forward thrust, but the inboard half was still in reverse, resulting in the reverser being locked out.http://www.users.on.net/roope/KIF_0463.JPGB…

Hi,as you can read in the topic I have a question to the sound of a 767? does someone knows if the sound of those different engine providers (PW,GE,RR) do differ inside the plane on a flight. I was just wondering if it is the same sound flying in a RR powered 763 and a GE powered one.Any responce would be helpfull!!ThanksMatthias
