Lee,I've noticed that the interior cabin lighting in addition to the logo lights appear to be tied to the Landing Lights. Do you know if this is something hardwired into the POSKY MDL?Contrast this to the Yeo Designs 737 which enables the logo and interior cabin lights when ANY light is turned on (NAV, BEACON, TAXI, VC lighting, etc...) and turns them OFF after every other light has been turned off.J

After installing the new fantastic landing view I have a small problem. The use of Shift2 or shift5 does not show the new landing view. The landing view was automatically assigned to the look down view of the hat switch and I could assign the "Shift5 look" to one of the buttons of the flight yoke. My problem is that I can not hold this view, I have to hold the hat switch or the button to hold the view. Numlock is off.Who can help me solving this problem?Pyro

Greetings Everyone...The other topic was getting a little too filled in my opinion. I like to keep it clean and organized! Post your questions/comments/concerns here. I will let you all know of any new findings/progress I come upon.I hope everyone who wants the view has been able to get it. I know it's tough. There's a chance that "Big Brother" is watching at my school, and has capped our uploads. We'll see... Anyways, those who do have it, try to help out those who don't, if you can...Here are couple of things to start this new thread off right. CAT II approach at KIAD demonsrates this view's capabilities. Enjoy.Regards,Phil Geddesps. Thanks to vulcan's brilliant work, w…

Is it possible to assign PIC panel buttons to the keyboard? I've never tried that, but figure while I'm in the landing panel view that having access to A/P, FLCH, HDG, etc. buttons would be great. I've only fiddled with FS2002 native key assignments, I hope this is not a "dumb question" :)Thanks,Bruce.

    1. The L ENG OIL PRES and R ENG OIL PRES lights seem to get into a state where they become "stuck ON" regardless of Oil Temperature or Pressure.2. More questionable is that these gauges seem to have nothing to do with Oil Pressure at all. Low Oil Pressure will not trigger their illumination, but low Oil Temperature will (< 30C).3. Periodically the A/T DISC annunciator will come on and remain on regardless of A/T switch position. The EICAS warning will go off and on in synchronisity with the A/T switch, but the red annunciator stays on (and consequently the Master Caution light is permanently illuminated as well). I seem to be having this problem after restarting the…

I note that when turning on aircraft lighting (at night), I see a flash of pink on the panel, then returns to the unlit condition (the guages always are lit, lights on or off, as long as LT OVRD is on). Looking out the right front (FO panel), it's totally dark. Is this normal? I have one of the original CD versions for FS2000, since patched for FS2002.Thanks,Bruce.

On the real world 767, how do pilots implement vectors given to them by ATC in regards to the EHSI? Because the EHSI primarily displays mag ground track with the 'lubber line' and also digitally in the little window, do pilots fly the actual assigned mag heading vector or the resultant ground track of the issued vector from ATC as would normally be displayed on the EHSI? I know the real 767 as well as PIC displays actual mag heading via the white arrow on the EHSI display, but I was also wondering if there is a way to switch the lubber line and digital heading readout on the EHSI to mag heading rather than mag ground track? Is there a way to do this on PIC too? I …

I've done my best to correct the flash on my view... here are the results... The updated bitmaps are available as a 300K download on my site.... The actual *.zip of the panel has also been updated. The fix file also includes an updated panel.CFG! Make sure that you post your EMAIL ADDRESS in my other thread if you still haven't gotten the view!Sincerely,Phil Geddes

I have loaded PIC onto a new and faster computer (winXP) but get an aircraft initialization failure on selection of the program. Surely the 2002 patched PIC is compatible with winXP?Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks,Meekal

Perhaps this should be directed specifically to Lee but anyone with a solution is welcomed to comment.I have a sucessful merge but I notice none of the night textures work with the exception of landing lights, strobes and beacons. I don't have window, taxi or tail logo lights nor any regular textures. The particular Posky model is the United Airlines one. Any help would be appreciated. Btw, if it is a DXT problem I only have the DXTBMP program and not ImageTools.

As promised, here are some more pictures from "work" today. We left Portland, Oregon enroute to MSP. For almost 1200 nm, not a cloud in the sky, mostly a smooth ride, and I didn't leave any dents in the runway on landing (I think).http://images.andale.com/f2/109/127/632235..._change_PDX.jpgWhen I got to the jet in PDX, they were changing a main landing gear tire. The mechanic gentleman told me the tire alone weighs 250 pounds! http://images.andale.com/f2/109/127/632235...65_StHelens.jpgTake-off to the west, right turn on course. Great view of Mt. St. Helens (remember the eruption?) in the foreground, and Mt. Ranier in the background.http://images.andale.com/f2/109/127/632…

Hi,On a flight this evening from LPMA to GCTS, cruising at an altitude of 180 (and TL 180) I suddenly noticed something at my FMS that I had not seen before. The FMS screen changed every let's say 2 seconds from speed readouts (at the way points) in KTS to MACH and back. And, even more astonishing, the altitudes, when indicating kts, were negative... !See the attached screenshots. Any ideas whether this behaviour is intentional??
