Hello everyone..I need help... I've been trying to land the plane for the longest time and it's just not sinking in.. Can someone please tell me what they do when coming down for landing.. Ok say your descending at your at 10,000 feet, What do you do from there?Seems I can never catch the ILS.. I've done everything I thought was right, And it just seems my plane will not catch the ILS.Please help me.. It'll be a happy day when I finally have a nice smooth landing.. Any help would do..Eggy

I have a question..Iam trying to create a flight from BWI to PHL.Ok using fs2002 flight planner, I copied the flightplan from the myflights folder to the Pilots folder..How can 767 PIC FMC cant find it.. I have about 20 diffrent flights in my pilots folder and it not picking up not one of them. I tried using FsNavigator to just create the flight plan and export it in fs2002 .pln into the pilots folder and its still not picking it up..HELLLPP!

~Right then...the done with!Some good news. I have managed to create a SID/STAR fixer using Visual Basic. Some people on the forum managed to track down the problem of the computer crashing on SID/STAR selection to do with comma's in the files not beeing spaced/inserted correctly.I have made a program which looks through all the files on execution, and fixes them indiidually.If you would like the Sid/Star fixer I will be emailing it to start with and then probably make it available on avsim subject to it working ok. I have testedit fully with windows xp, and although it does take some time if you have all-in-one file from NavData, it corrects them all in about 10minute…

Just wondered if the 767 project was closed? I'd really love to see a patch so that the failures are 'dynamic' like in FS2000. That feature was probably the most immersing, realistic feature I even seen, not to mention how much fun it was.Regards,

Hey all --I have been wondering, how do yall fly? Do you fly it like an ATP rated captain would, planning out the fuel, and such, to the lb, and the route as a real plane would? Or are you more relaxed?And, what tools do you use to fly? Greetings...Thank God it's the weekend... been praying for it since Monday! I had some time to re-work the ol' VFR/LANDING View and I think you all will be delighted with the results. It flows much better with the rest of the PIC panel. I did two versions:1. AAL/DELTA Style panel with the Radar-Altimeter Tape3dba028e29b0bd04.jpg2. UAL/OTHER Style panel WITHOUT the Radar-Altimeter Tape3dba029229b4c4e2.jpgSimply choose the panel based on what carrier you typically fly with in FS2002.My P&W sound-edit has also been updated! Hi,I have been flying the PIC767 for a few years now. Great sofware, very stable (as opposed to the PSS A3XX which has been crashing my PC for months now :-(.). But as I got to know the product better and better, and as I have read through the B757 AOM. I noticed a lot of features included with the real FMC are not simulated in the PIC767. So, the obvious question is: are there plans to update the FMC in the future so it becomes more lifelike. Also, and I know this question has been asked a 1000 times. Why is it so difficult to provide a patch (payware ?) to make the panel compatible with the B757 ? Not a completely new product but an add-on to the add-on maybe ? I wouldn…

After upgrading my o/s from win98 to win 2000pro, (I needed it as I work out of my house), I experienced strange problems with PIC. First, I reinstalles FS2K, and PIC with the 1.1 patch.The following 'bugs' are now evident:1. The auto throttle does not work. If I set a figure in the speed window, the speed mode races the engines to dangerous overspeeds at any point in the flight. I have to manually control the airspeed with my joystick.2. As soon as I pick the 767 in the aircraft menu, the menu bar becomes inoperable. Pressing 'alt' can freeze the screen for a few seconds. I hade to disable 'hide menu bar' for it to be usable. I am trying to run 767 PIC under FS2000 and Win XP. Howver I am experiencing problems with it. I have patched the system to 1.1I notice the patch for FS2002 claims to add support for XP but I do not have FS2002, just FS200. Where is the patch to add XP support for 767 PIC under FS2000 to be found ?Matt Penfold

I have both FS2000 and FS2k2 installed. Is there a way I can have 767PIC installed in both FS. Right now it's installed in FS2000 and when I load the CD I get "do you want to uninstall...".I guess one option would be to install the files manually but I'm not sure I know wich files are installed.Thanks for the help.Dan

Alrighty Gurus,Did a search, didnt find anything that I was looking for.I want to use PIC w/ the great POSKY B764 models. Trying to find the ZFW for the B764. Which, If im looking at the correct thing, pretty sure am I. The Maximum Zero Fuel Weight for the Boeing 764 is 330lbs.I asked MB if there was a merge out for the B764 and PIC. He informed that there was not. I have yet to e-mail Lee to find out if he has one sitting somewhere?So here is my question. . .Can I use the B763 merge and then just edit the ZFW in the aircraft.cfg file? And I have read that the largest amount the PIC FMS will take in for ZFW is around 288lbs?Thanks Guys,Josh Hjemvick

Hello everyone..I need a little help..Ok, using Fsnavigator, I create a flight plan then exported in fs2002 format.. Then I used FSBUILD and converted into 767 PIC .rte.Ok, Here is the situation...I created a flight from KORD to KDET. Just a short flight..Now, The problem iam having is, I can never seem to loc on the iLS.for instance, I tried to land on runway 15. And I did everything right, but I can never loc on the ILS. Seems to me, The plane is always approaching the runway from the side. It's hard to explain the problem, But So far I can never loc on the ils and setup for an autoland. I dl'd some SIDS, STARS, and approaches, I'm not sure which AIRAC they're from, can't even remember where I got them from, but when I open up the FMC, push teh DEP/ARR button, my frame rates drop to 1.0, this happened at KSFO. Anyone know why? Is this just because of the sheer number of SIDS, STARS, and approaches that are in the database?Also, a quick FPS warning, at least for those who use multiple monitors. Make sure you're panels are not bleeding onto multiple screens. Somehow, my main panel, bled over to my FMC/Pedestal monitor. Cost me at least 5 FPS, I had to undock the main panel, resize and make sure it wasn't bleeding over. Now I've got a small sliver of …

Hi there,I tried the landing view of Phil and it's really a very good enhancement to the PIC experience.I just noticed some irregularities though. So I'm posting because maybe someone may have an idea how to correct them. I didn't notice those before because I did all my flights during daytime until tonight.Tonight I did a night flight, and have noticed that the landing lights are not visible from the landing/vfr view. I'm using the PIC/POSKY V3 763 merge and the lights are visible from within the normal cockpit view but not from the vfr/landing view.
