Hey All,I've gotten some emails about people confused about my VFR/LANDING View. The latest version is NOT on my site yet... but is available at the Avsim file library.... Just search for "geddes" for my latest vfr/landing panel and sounds!1. The panel DOES have a popup VSI for those so inclined.2. Was approved by a UAL 75/76 captain.Using gporcher's instructions posted on this forum, you can merge my panel with Randy's view which has the VSI moved up. Just wondering, if anyone has this setup how you like it. Can you precisely set pitch trim on the PIC767 with a CH yoke? I'm currently using a Microsoft Sidewinder and find it very frustrating to trim with the buttons on the stick.Thanks for any insight.

I have redone this panel from scratch starting with the original picture Phil provided me.It is not completed yet..well almost. I am having problems with the rmi gauge not streching beyond the bottom bitmap though. All others work fine. Any ideas on how to fix this gauge problem would be appreciated. Since a few days when I save a flight in FS2002, the FMS is not saved with the flight so when I load it again I cannot continue the flight as it was. Did I do this myself? How can I save flights with FMC again?Thanks for your help

I have started my journey to the heavens recently registering with Vatsim and got myself FSnav, FsBuild, FSMetro,Roger Wilco and good Ol' Squawk Box. Now up till this point I have been flying using the MCP WITHOUT loading the FMC. So here I am building a flight plan getting all my Sids and Stars and fire up my FMC to load all this stuff up and thats where I got "confused a little"............Lol. I can load my plan only by adding it through the "co route". I do not see ANYWHERE on the FMC pgs. to do otherwise so please tell me if i'm mistaken. Now, I know I am missing quite a bit here seeing that most data is still missing and incomplete on my FMC. I was foolish I suppos…

is there any way to import a flight plan with the flight planner utility into the FMC like with the DF737, PSS A320 ??

Question for someone familiar with FDC....I'm using Flight Deck Companion with PIC767. When doing a Pre-start checklist, I can't get past "Flight Director". I've enabled the FD and even Auto-Throttle. FD shows TO and the cross bars. Any idea how to clear this checklist item???

As an example, when setting my MCP speed at 210k, and establishing 210k as the speed, I show a ground speed of 225k in still air at 59 degrees F. This is at an altitude of 4,000'. Is it normal for there to be a 15k difference between IAS and GS at such a relatively low altitude?Second question: Do the speed limits (flap extension, 250k below 10,000', etc.) refer to IAS or GS? Obviously, for instance, there is quite a difference between the two speeds at 10,000'- I'd be going way over 250k GS at 10,000' if I refer to the IAS as target speed.Thanks for clarification.BTW, I'm using the POSKY 767-300ER with Lee's merge.

Hi all~the PIC767 rudder effect seems strange, without any wind and when i applying right or left rudder, the aircraft normally would turning and maintain the new heading with rudder back to neutral, but while i place the rudder back to neutral, the aircraft returned to the original heading, are there something wrong?:-(

After having some problem controling my rudder i decided to play around with the yaw damper configs and found this weird message. when I put the Right rudder yaw damper button (in the overhead panel) in the INOP mode, it gives me a "auto coord off" message in my system status display. In the PIC manual they say this is a FS2000 feature.Does it affect the playability in FS2002? What "auto coord" for?Cheers!

HiI've got a problem with the PIC panel in that it keeps makeing fs pause for a few seconds. The frame rate indicator doesn't change, just the whole thing locks for about five seconds every minute or so. It happens with PIC/Posky merge and with Mike Ts 757/PIC combo.Anyone got any idaes how to cure this?Cheers

Hi all,I am sitting at Threshold Aviation killing time until the festivities of Charity Flight 2002 start this afternoon.Mickey and Bill (co-owners) have a GoFlight full unit setup on their trial PC. Most of the unit does work with PIC767 (GF166A VRP (comm)), GF-LGT (trim, gear and flaps) but the GF-P8 (autopilot) and GF-45 (CRS, SPD, ALT etc..) don't seem to communicate with PIC all that well. I'm fairly certain the patch that was released for another hardware device. Will something similar be released for the GoFlight?Any ideas or suggestions? Hi folksIm new here, this is my first post.. I'm flying PIC for quite some time now and do it quite serious. Although I still have 3 questions which I hope some of you can answer:- How can I 'calculate' the proper trim setting for takeoff ? I usually trim to about 1.8/2.2 but the plane handles different according to the fuel onboard.- Can someone shortly explain the use of ADF ? I still don't know what it actually do or when I need it.- I'm interested in buying the CH products yoke. Is it worth the buy ? I currently have the MS sidewinder 2.Thanks for an answer,Timon.

Can anyone explain this?Flying down the ILS Rwy 23 at Glasgow EGPF - fully established on the Localiser and Glideslope. Become visual at 250 ft RADIO and the PAPIs are showing FOUR WHITES, yet the ILS says I'm on the slope????The plane is actually above the glideslope so why is the ILS indicating correctly??Any help much appreciatedRobbie

I'm sure this must be quite simple to solve but i couldn't find another posting on it this issue. My PIC clock is always 1 hour late... for example if I choose a flight beginning at 6 am, it shows 5 am in my plane clock...Does anyone know how to fix this?Cheers!

Suppose to deliver an fresh 763 from KBFI to ANA in Osaka, they would prefer delivery at Kansai, since they have better facilities there.However, RJBB does not exist in PICFMC ? Oh well used Osaka after all, but someone know if this will be added ?Further more, how reliable are the SID/STARS from FSNavigator ? They seem to have frequent updates for them.

I seen some people's screenshots and I see they are southwest airlines at the geates and some Unitied and such. Just wondering what can I get to have that realistic looking planes at my gates..- Eggy

What routes does American fly their 763s on? The only one I know is AAL104 KJFK-EGLL and I'm tired of flying that route. I tried searching for domestic flights at aa.com but I don't see them flying 763s on domestic routes (and that isn't very useful for me anyway). So where can I find the routes American fly their 763s? :-(
