Hi guys,I'd really like you to give me the name, of what you think, is the most challenging SID and STAR the 767 can fly, (then I can try flying it.) Personally I think the most challenging approach is Maderia and the most challenging SID is a visual one from Innsbruck. Please post belowMany Thanks,

Hi,I`ve just loaded a saved flight and the altitude was at fl190 it should be fl350 and the MCP is showing 10600ft so when i go to put it back to 35000ft it stops dead at 15200ft and will not budge. The only thing i have done since the flight was saved (when all has been fine)was to add the servinfo gauge, which did not show up on the panel (with the new VFR panel ) so i removed the panel.cfg and replaced the original cfg. Is there a cfg that has corrupted to stop the input on the MCP? I have PIC/POSKY merge also. Many thanks,Lee.

I shutdown my right engine, dumped some fuel and headed back to land. I used flap 20, don't know if that's right and auto-brake 4. I was landing on runway 24R and Manchester and the braking was very light. I noticed by R HYD system was gone. Will that affect my braking?Regards,(I left the runway via the grass) :-(

Hi,The 767 Pilot in Command FAQ says:"Do NOT patch your 767 Pilot in Command with version 1.1."What does Wilco mean by "version 1.1"?Do they mean "767 Pilot in Command Patch 1.1"?Do they mean "767Patch for FS2002 version 1.1"?Do they mean both?I found these downloadable items on http://www.wilcopub.com/Download.htmPlease excuse my english, I am not a native speaker.Rudy Moore

Hi to all, i am currently experiencing a problem with the PIC/POSKY763 model on landings. During the flare which I initiate around 20 ft the airplane absolutely refuses to land- it justs floats and starts to climb for a few seconds before it finally settls onto its main gear. I have experienced cutting the throttle to idle at 50 ft but it doesn't seem to solve anything. can any real world pilots out there help me to correct this problem as right now it is a real pain in the #$%@ and I won't fly this aircraft anymore until I can fix this problem, thanks.

Hi,When I select a derated thrust setting for take-off I use the auto throttle and click 'SPD' after setting 70% N1. Is that the right procedure? Also, in real-life if the pilot sets a de-rated take-off can he not just push the throttles full forward or must he use the 'SPD' button to get this thrust setting?Lastly, if an engine fails after V1 and SPD is engaged, what happens?Do you manually push the throttles full forward or does the 767 give you max N1 automatically?Regards,

I am looking for a program which would be able to edit my PIC database (wpNavFIX.txt) on a map? I have got NAV3, but it seems not to accept such files. Thank you very much for any help.

While I am on a roll & posting in this forum, I though I would add the following pic of the new Australian Airlines livery. This carrier is a new subsiduary of QANTAS & has just started service offering a single class low airfare service linking Asian cities to popular Australian tourist centres.I obtained the textures from the QANTAS virtual airlines website http://www.curbe.com/QVA/qvaI then used Lee's merge files to use PiC. The results are excellant but for one thing - with the merged file, I have no manual braking! I have to use the engine thrust & parking brakes.Does anyone have any ideas on how to correct this?Pictures of the real aircraft can be viewed…

EVERETT, Wash. (AP)--Boeing on Wednesday delivered its first 747-400ER, or Extended Range jet, to Australian carrier Qantas Airways. The jet, the first of six to be delivered to Qantas, is Boeing's first redesign of the 747 since 1993. With structural changes, an additional fuel tank and stronger fuselage and landing gear, the new jet can carry 15,000 more pounds of people or cargo and can fly about 410 nautical miles farther -7,760 miles - than existing 747-400s. The planes seat 416 people in a standard three-class configuration, and offer larger carryon compartments and roomier interiors. Qantas will use the plane on its Los Angeles-Melbourne route. But even with the six …

Hi,Hope someone can give me a hint:I have FS2002 + PIC installed on my Dell Pentium 4 portable, with 512RAM and a nice nVidia graphic card. My problem with 767PIC - and only this aircraft - is that when I move the rudder or elevator to extreme positions (left, right, up or down), it locks up, and I am not able to move it at again. Only possible solution is reloading the aircraft! Apart from this, everything works perfect.Any good ideas?BR Hans

PiC problems.. change that to PiC failures :) Ok guys, I also noticed that PiC is totally uncontrollable if it suffers an engine failure and the remaining engine's thrust is more than 90% N1(?) The aircraft is totally uncontrollable on any phase of takeoff during an engine failure or during a go around. Any solutions?Any input will be greatly appreciated!:)http://www.mydestiny.net/~michael8/genavbanner.gif

I recently had a fairly major series of hydraulics failures on approach to Sydney, Australia & was forced to land with a reasonably strong crosswind.I had recently read (smartcockpit.com?) that I had to keep the vertical speed at landing below 200fpm to be sure the gear didn't fold with the lower hrdraulic pressure available. The left bogey touched down first & quite smoothly. However the right bogey came down quite hard. At first all appeared OK with the aircraft slowing down the centre line. Then a slight right wing down attitide became apparrent & I could correct it with aileron. The right wing down attitude increased as I slowed & then the aircraft veere…

I've seen this site and its great, many thanks for your addons; http://cs-people.bu.edu/pgeddes/flightsim/picmods/index.htmJudging heights in the VFR view when landings is amazing - you really feel like you're "up there" and I always float it - lol.Anyway, I was wondering if it was possible to 'edited' the EHSI gauge so that it displayed TCAS traffic? I don't know what program you would use or if it could e distributed on a website. Any thoughts? Many Thanks,

Hi everyone. Is there any way to decrease the volume of various button clicks in the cockpit, say light switches for instance? They seem very loud as compared to other cockpit sounds. Volume setting within PIC menu and FS volume menu does not change it. I suppose it must be hard-coded into panel itself. Is there any way to change it, please?Thank youDon

Hey guys, Been doing some reading about emergency procedures to stay current and practicing them on separate training flights in FS. I noticed that the alternate gear switch on the pedestal is not working? The only way I can get the gear down with gear locked is through holding down ctrl+G for about 20 seconds or so. Is PiC really like this? Also, do flaps extend in the alternate modes when flaps are locked in up position? :)http://www.mydestiny.net/~michael8/genavbanner.gif

I have a question for those of you who have flown this bird in FS2000 and FS2002. Also, anyone using Lee's POSKY merge, feel free to ring in on this.Is it just a phony perception here, or do the flaps in PIC/FS2002 seem to generate excessive lift? I'm using a POSKY v3 aircraft with the FS2002 PIC flight dynamics and have been somewhat perplexed by this. I am finding that when I extend flaps, there is a definitive "ballooning" action that occurs, not entirely unlike that of a small 172. Somehow, I remember this change in lift dynamics being much more subtle in earlier versions. This theory seems to bear itself out even more as I find myself riding the glideslope with …

Bonjour,I would like to have some precison on one of your previous thread concerning non precison approach.First I would like to say that all your answers are always very informative and are a goldmine. In one of your thread you said that at MDA you start to level off (ALT/HOLD mode engaged),and set the MCP to the missed approach altitude and then if visual disconnect A/P, A/T 50 feet below MDA.I would like to understand how is it possible to go below MDA with A/P on as if you do nothing the plane will stay at the MDA altitude. The only way I found to descent below MDA is as soon ALT/HOLD engaged , I set very quickly the MCP to Missed approach altitude and then swith to V/…

After switching back to the very original air/cfg files, i.e ones i havent tweaked! I am getting eratic climb times. For example, to climb to FL370 it takes me 32 minutes, GR WT of 130T....CLB 1. In real life it takes about 20 minutes given the same sterile wind conditions and CLB1. I had no altitude restrictions by ATC.Also cruise power is about 96% N1, yet looking at a collection of airliners.net photos it looks as though it should be around 86-92%max.Is it just me?Thikn I might go bak to my personal tweaks :>
