I have gone through my merge files with a fine-toothed comb and am certain they contain no POSKY content and as such do not represent a modified POSKY aircraft or flight model being redistributed, nor do they represent a POSKY aircraft combined with a commercial product within the package (no POSKY content). These were both objections raised by POSKY's Warren Daniels on 24 April 2002. Any combination with the commercial 767 PIC package takes place on the user's own machine when a POSKY model and texture folder are copied/moved into place by the user. My school math book states that the fuel tank capacity of the 767 is 80,000 litres (64,000 kg). I have downloaded the a good looking POSKY 767-300 American Airways jet. I suppose it is more than a matter of replacing the textures manually, right? What I did was to just go into the PIC767 fs2002 file and I removed the original texture and replaced it with the POSKY textures. However, when I started fs2002 again and selected the 767PIC, the old textures/aircraft reappeared. I guess this is why you need a merger file. Where can I find a merger file. The POSKY web site does not seem to have one. Can anyone please give me more information if there is something else I, or others in my situation, might not know.Thanks,Robb

Often after taxing quite a way out to a far runway, (PANC,KDEN) and I don't have traffic around I can get ATC to give me clearance for a VFR take-off, I do this with a rolling speed of about 15-19 (ground speed), this seems real, I have been on several medium to large aircraft and we taxi for like 20 minutes.....and then I know as we arc through the turn by the threshold we've got a rolling clearance, since the engines are being ramped progressively......so I guess I just want confirmation that I can do this to model real life ?

The new virtual aircraft 737-700 included with Airport 2002 Vol 1, have a dwarf or I don't get it!I try to set the ILS vor 1, into the FMC and also on the panel, but there's no way autopilot lock on the ILS neither on the glideslope.What I'm doing wrong?I use the FMC likewise that of the 767Pic, but there no way to lock the ILS portion or ghe gs portion.Any helpAriel Thanks

is there anyway to put the TCAS/VSI gauge that Oleksiy Frolov uses in his dash 8 panel and merge it and replace the VSI gauge into the 767 PIC panel?

Has anyone else noticed that pitch trim with PIC is just plain impossible no matter what rig you are controlling with, be it joystick or Control Yoke? I think the long and short of it is that the flight model is flawed in this respect. Folks, it is just not possible to manually trim this bird out with any degree of precision, especially on ILS approach.I'm thinking the vast majority of users here are using the autopilot most of the way in for IMC landings. I have been using PIC for quite a short time & would like to know if software exists that allows downloading & integration of high altitude weather (especially winds) with MSFS & PIC. The standard MSFS waether does not reflect the jetstreams that exist above FL300 in our part of the world.I gather FS Meteo does, but at the current Australian $ exchange rates, it is just too expensive for a shareware product.Any suggestions?

Hello. First post from me, and it is, not surprisingly, a cry for help: Am running FS2002 and have just installed 767PIC and applied two patches that I found on Wilco's very confusing download page. All seems to work well until I try and open any specific flight profile, say, the first delivery flight from KSFO. I get this message: "Aircraft Initialization Failure 767 PIC United Airlines".It then loads and I get a half screen with the upper 50% being a contorted Cessna 172 and the lower half blacked out. When I select the 767 from the aircraft options, I get "Visual Model could not be displayed 767 PIC Wilco Publishing", followed byt the same split screen scenario. What's…

Excuse me for posting this here, but I did not found a FAQ section regarding the Airport 2002 series at Wilcos website...I have just installed the new package on my pc and see wonderfull airports with a lot of vehicels - but no aircrafts! There was ONE Air Canada at KORD (I think they may have slightly more traffic ;) ).Scenery complexity is set to dense or extremely dense, no matter wether AI traffic is turned on or off - no aircrafts .Is there anybody who knows what I am doing wrong?Thanks for any help!Andreas

Hi Everyone,I am wondering if someone can help me. If I select a dp SID and it has an altitude restriction, the FMC generates the flight plan with the crossing altitude of that certain waypoint. But after that, all other waypoints do not have altitudes unless I enter something in.Could you please advise on this procedure? Let's say the SID restriction is to cross ABC at 15,000ft. The next waypoint, XYZ is listed but doesn't calculate the next waypoint altitude unless you do something. If my final altitude is FL350, what do I enter in the next waypoint after the crossing restriction??If I enter in 35,000ft, It calculates something like FL430 which isn't even my progra…

Could someone please explain the patches application sequence? I am running PIC in FS2002 with only the 2002 patch installed. I recently became aware of two additional patches. All seems fine in my system. Do I need one or both? Do they fix anything important?Thanx muchJS

I noticed something when flying my PIC/POSKY merged aircraft. When i reach my cruise altitude, for example FL310, my engine configuration does not change automatically from CLB to CRZ. In the PIC FMC manual they say it's supposed to change automatically, but it doesn't. What can be wrong?Cheers!

Im curious, what does the Posky merge tool actually do? I had no problem using the PIC panel with a posky aircraft. I did have to take some extra steps to get the sounds to work properly, I think it had something to do with the .air or mdl file. It was a few months ago so I don't remember exactly. I fly it almost everyday and I've never noticed anything different from the stock PIC, other than much better frame rates.

I downloaded the continental_757_300_pic.zip but it doesn't work fine with my FS... for some reason the cockpit doesn't have any windows (I can't see anything in front of me), the virtual cockpit looks misplaced and the behaviour of the a/c isn't all that. So I downloaded the 757-200 from Mike's site and I liked it a lot.Now the question that never silences... any way to merge it with the pic panel?Cheers!Sorry folks, i couldn't find anything about the 757-200 in the past posts.

When I am flying on-line with the PIC767 the frame rate (panel view) will drop dramatically as soon as other aircraft become visible, for example during landing or taxiing. Does anyone have a clue?Regards,Jan van Bekkum
