This is a great addon, and I have said thanks many times! After being out for some time, and a patch for FS2002, where is the current direction of 767PIC heading? Are you still updating it, working on patches? Is there more planes in the future you plan on working on? I haven't been in the loop lately, and just curious on where the 767PIC and it's team are heading and what plan's await the future.

Is it normal for the DTG and ETA to get stuck and stop updating when looking on the progress screen on the FMC?Thanks

Well,After a few thousand hours behind the glass in the PIC, after extensive training following the Non Normal Checklists, working on all the procedures outlined in Mike Ray's emergency section, and a complete re-read of the panel and FMC manuals - I am finally ready to take her to the next step - failures enabled. What?!? Some might sit in disbelief that all this time I had no failures enabled. It was enough for me to just fly the bird, follow the procedures, and put her down on the numbers with all of VATSIM watching - I caused enough of my own failures without the system working against me. Now I am ready. In fact, I had my first one last night in the skies between LAX …

........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................Ha....fooled ya....I could post some action shots of me at my desk; me at my desk being scolded for poor performance; perhaps a picture of the staff having sex with the dog; I have some good pics of me adjusting the clock in the lobby so no one knows I am late...except the guest who is freaking because he thinks he missed his flight home now ;-)I wish my work PIC's were as exciting as those lucky…

I read the very recent thread about setting failure frequencies with interest. I was intrigued to read people setting 'x' number of failures per month. Per month? I use FS2K & I can only set 'x' number of failures per hour.Is this 'failures per month' an FS2K2 thing, or is there an obscure setting I have not discovered that allows this?:-hmmm

Hi all I am having problems with my PIC/POSKY 767 to fly the correct approach speeds. i am using Lee's merge so it has the PIC airfile but when testing it at differrnt weights the approach speeds on final are far too high when compared to the performance tables supplied by Warren from POSKY. for instance at a weight of 254,000lbs the approach speed, according to the tables I have indicate a speed of roughly 130 knots. I am seeing about 155 knots in my aircrft which seems much to high. I am not using any weather so as not to factor in winds. can someone tell me do I have to increase the flpas lift, parasitic drag, wwhatever- appreciate any help with this one as I am not tha…

Hey guys,Thought you might find these interesting....We were enroute yesterday from KDTW to KMCO (Detroit to Orlando). Just south of VXV VOR (Knoxville, TN), we "joined up" on this Delta 757 also enroute to KMCO. We were at FL390, he at FL370...within a few minutes, he was ordered to reduce to Mach .76 to follow a Cessna Citation, then ATL Center descended him to FL 350. We stayed at FL390 at M.80, zoomed past him, and ended up beating him to the airport. :)http://images.andale.com/f2/109/127/632235...98_DAL757_1.jpgRememeber the "Top Gun" line? "To close for missiles...switching to guns!" Hehe...http://images.andale.com/f2/109/127/632235...16_DAL757_3.jpgI had to get out…

I have an MS Sidewinder Precision Pro USB that I am trying to recalibrate using FSUIPC. One problem I have continually had with this joystick is its noticeable asymmetry when it comes to applying a uniform amount of gain in response to joystick input. For instance, I find if I deflect the stick left about half way, I get between 2/3 and 3/4 of maximum on the output. If I deflect right, I get just slightly less than 1/2. It's a bit like driving a car with bad alignment ;-)I won't even get into the squirrely behavior I see when deflecting the stick fully along an axis. This is hardly "precision" anything :^)Anyway...is there a means of independently adjusting the gain cu…

Hi fellow PIC users I need some help with getting the spoilers to auto deploy upon the main wheels hitting the ground on landing. right now they will only deploy when I select the thrust reversers.also I use the PIC?POSKY merge supplied by Lee and I was wondering if any have you have tweaked the airfile at all to improve the flight dynamics (if in fact they need improving) could u please send me any edits u have made to the airfile and also the info on how to get the spoilers to auto deploy (yes I have armed them prior to landing!) to [email protected] thanks.

Hey Guys, I was wondering where I can get Tables for speeds and such. thanks Max Grover

You can now download it direct from the Avsim file library! No more waiting for email replys! I had a couple of problems with the FIRST zip I sent out with bad bitmaps and a mistake in the panel cfg. These have been fixed. Just download the "Complete Fix" file from the library, sorry for that guys. This new file is complete for new downloads too. File date is 12/7 If you have used it please let me know what you think, Best Wishes and Happy Landings, Randy Smith

Hey guys, This is an attempt to get back towards a more "PIC look" with the vfr panel. I'm sure there are those who use Lee's panel that would like to have the post and vsi included so heres my shot at it.Best Wishes,Randy J. Smith

Please post your emails here.I have TWO views in my new package, one with the ehsi and one without. You can access them the same. There seems to be alot of people with emails that cannot except large files so please make sure your mail supports this before posting it here. What I wanted to do is make a nice alternitive to the default panel for LANDING, NOT to make a panel that looks like a real 757/767 but that matches as close to possible the main panel and I think that I have done this. Best Wishes, Randy Smith

hey guys can anyone tell me where i can find some performance charts (landing and takeoff) for the 767-300 because I am getting approach speeds that seem way to high for the weight I typically land at and I would like to check some real charts against what the PIC FMC is stating.

Often, I find the use or need of applying the speed brakes to decel, this is in an non AP mode or with just LNAV, at what speed are speed brakes inoperable ? It seems I can call them to action even at or above 280 KIAS, this can't be right...the aircraft would shudder something fierce, correct ?puzzled ?

Hello, some days ago I installed the 3rd party patch for use with the 474MCP. The MCP works fine but since then I'm unable to save a flight with PIC. Every time I try, FS crashes and tells me, that FS2002 has to be closed because of an illegal process. Looking in the details it tells me, that FS2002 caused a fault by an invalid page in the modul KRNL386.EXE at 0002:00005c83. Register: .....Saving a flight with other aircrafts/panels works perfect.Has anyone discovered this problem too or is it a problem of my system only?P4, 1500 MHZ, 256 MB RDRAM, Asus P4T mainboard, Gainward GF2-MX400 twinview vivo AGP, ATI mach64 PCI, SB Live 5.1, Hagstrom KE72 encoder, 747MCP, GF45, GF…

Suddenly, none of my saved flights are able to read their panel settings AND saving a flight does not save settings that can be restored.Anyone have any clue at all what could be going on?

Hi everyone,I have put in a bid to fly the Air Canada flight (I'll use the 763) from Toronto to Las Vegas. After that I may put my Mainland hat on and continue to fly the 767 over to San Francisco, and Phoenix, and down to Mexico area... who knows.Anyone else plan to fly on Sunday?Dan PergauCharityFlight 2002 survivor
