When the landing gear is lowered the noise level of the wind overides all other sounds. Necessary to turn down the volume, but then unable to hear most of the other sounds. Have looked for the sound file but can't locate it. Is it tied into a gauge, if so is there a way to control the volume. Have experimented with all the sound sliders with no luck....Any help appreciated. JayDub

I've been away from the PIC for a while and decided to fly it again. I went through my normal checklist and after enabling the autopilot and VNAV, it was like it wasn't even turned on.It would miss the altitude I had set, FLCH was totally ignored. Specifying a heading and HDG SEL seems to work fine though.I found that my joystick (an MS FF2) was still controlling the pitch whereas I think it wasn't doing that when the aircraft was working fine.I've tried uninstalling the PIC and reinstalling it to no avail.Does anyone have any ideas on this?-- Scotte

If I engage N1 during my takeoff roll - each engine spools to a different level (75% &102%) causing me to veer off the tarmac.Is it me or should I file a tech report Help!Steve

Have just loaded AIRAC 0213 from navdata.at and the FMC now fails to recognise V or J airways. I've done all the usual checks and reinstalls. The text files are all properly loaded. The a/c flys and the FMC accepts waypoints, Navaids, etc. Has anyone else had this problem and, if so, what kind of fix(es) work. Thanks and Happy New Year.

I used to have a handly little dos program which when used correctly stored all the sids/stars in a backup folder, and when you told it your dep/dest/altn it put only those sids/stars into the fmc sid/star folders for faster fmc use.I lost it :( but would like it again...anyone know where I can get it? thanks.

i have given alot of thought today about buying the pic767. if i would buy it i would merge it with the poskt 767. now i read that like if u merge the 2 then in the vfr panel the langing lights or intireior lights and rain effects dont work or something like that. is that true. so i would like u guys to reply with comment if i should buy it. i will use it with fs2002. could u guys also list some pros and consAdam

HiNumber 1With regard to PIC failures and the time frame you can set failures to occur in - is this time only whilst flying PIC? Or is it whilst FS is running or maybe real time? If it's a month of flying PIC that must equal years of flying wothout any failures - anyone?Number 2About wing tank fuel imbalances. Why is it that the right wing tank always ends up with less fuel than the left? I often have to perform crossfeeds to get things balanced again. Anyone?Thanks

Hello everyone..I'am having a problem with the posky merge program. What I did was extracted the posky merge program to my FS2002Aircraft folder. I copied the Model & Texture folder from my 767 Posky aircraft and copied them to the Posky PIC Posky2 folder.. Then I clicked on the setup.bat file located in the Posly PIC Posky2 folder.. When I click the setup.bat this is the error I get: ERROR: YOU MUST HAVE TA TEXTURE FOLDER COPIED FROM THE POSKY AIRCRAFT FOLDERERROR: COULD NOT FIND THE FILE TEXTURETIRE1.BMPcan someone please help..

My default PIC FMC VNAV speed setting for cruise mode is .800 which basically maintains .799 on cruise.Is that too slow? Do most PIC simmers use the default cruise ".800 ECON SPD" mode?How much faster can I cruise at: .820? I don't have a lot of FSim time so I am looking to speed up my flights ;-)Also, what is the normal VNAV cruise speed setting on the real-world B767s?Thank you in advance,Kerke (KMIA)---

I use the 767PIC/POSKY merge and it's so wonderful that I don't want to go back to the defualt aircraft ever. But one thing seems to bother me thought, there seems to be some kind of white patches on the upper side of both wings near the aircraft body. It's like some kind of drawing with red dots around. Is this some kind of an unfinished work or what? Sorry I didn't have image posting here.

This must be easy for you more experienced panel designers. I want to add two buttons in my PIC panel, one to call the GPS and another one to call the aiview module. How can I do so? I managed to add the GPS to the list of windows but I have to type SHIFT+8 every time i need the GPS.There are two unused buttons in the left corner of the panel (right under the window frame), maybe those could be used to do so... is it possible?ThanksSorry i posted the same message at the panl forum but didn't get an answer.

Just wondering why the engine seems to spool up so fast ? It seems a little unrealistic to me. The process from where you add the fuel to the moment where the engine stabilises seems to take only a very few seconds. It seems very accelerated in this sim.In other sims eg 747-400 Precision Sim the start process even with Autostart isn't as fast as this. Anyone care to comment???BARGE

Hello,I am using pic in a cockpit, so far I used the virtual cockpitview, which is only the outsideview without panel.This is good to me but the only thing is that when it rains, I have no drops on the forward window. Now I see that with the VFR panel it is possible to have that rain on the window, would it be possible to have that with only the outsideview without any panel ?And then something else, would it be possible to have GPWS starting with wallouts at 1000 ft instead of 500 ?I hope so,Thanks,Marnix

Hi everyone..I just purchased PIC and after using Dreamfleet 737 program and wanting to try this one out. I'am having an awful hard time trying to take off with this plane.. The plane does a nose up and the tail of the plane is still on the ground and just keep stalling. Been messing with it for 2 days now. Newbie question:Just got 767PIC today. Really excited, but really frustrated. Used to flying the Dreamfleet 737, no probs. Went through all checklists for cockpit prep and engine startup. Engines started no prob. Two issues, suspect they're related.1) Taxi requires continuous N1 around 45%. At first I thought this was a little high, but more importantly EGT is sitting at over 800.2) Take-off roll, when setting take-off power, EGT immediately goes into warning and causes engine fire about 3/4 of V1.so, I thought being a newbie that I must have missed something and instead used the saved flight, "767 PIC Takeoff". No difference.Doesn't seem to matter what I do, can't…
