I have some questions about Pilot in command. (Thinking about buying it)Does it support Virtual cockpit in fs2002?Can the main cockpit guages be undocked and dragged to another monitor/s?How bad is the frame rate hit?Are there any passenger views?Can you hear the apu?I know there are hundreds of switches, but how many of them are actually required to get right in order to fly the plane?(Many add-on aircraft let you flip switches but have no bearing on the airplane.)

hi, in reallife, how do pilot obtained coordinate information to be dialed into the IRS. Do they have to carry a portable GPS device with them so that they could do the startup procedure?

To help me finalize my 757 AIR file, I have a few questions about the performance of the 757.1: What is a typical climb rate after takeoff with 1/2 load of fuel? If i have 1/2 fuel load, and power settings on CLB1, I'll typically get about 4000 fpm until passing 10000, and then it will slow down to 2500-3000. Is this accurate?2: How easy is the 757 to slow down on descent? It would be helpful to have this put in terms relating to the 767 PIC. e.g. easier, harder.Thanks a lot for helping me put together what I view as great dynamics for the 757, which we have all been waiting for for a while.If all goes according to plan, and I can get permission from the original auth…

I got FS2K2 for Xmas, and was eager to install PIC in it. But when I put the cd-rom in its drive, Install Wizard asked whether I wish to delete current files. I said yes, as "no" would abort the installation. Installation in FS2002 was then completed successfully, upgrade patch later applied.I then discovered that PIC was uninstalled from the FS2000 directory. It seems that installation is limited to only one version of FS. I sill want to run PIC in Fs2000, as I have Proflight 2000 ATC on it, which is better than the 2002 atc.So, can I have both FS versions running PIC?Eytan Ornstein

hey guys I read an article in one of our local papers about Boeing giving some serious consideration to ending production of the 757 due to poor sales (very few new orders as well). I just have to wonder how much longer they will also continue to manufacture our beloved 767 as the same article also goes on to say that they have shelved plans (at least for the present time) for the Boeing Sonic cruiser due to lack of interest and high R&D costs and will instead focus on a more modern(read fuel efficient) plane to replace the 767. hopefully it will continue to live on in some form. I guess Scarebus is really putting the boots to Boeing in terms of customer demand becaus…

This has happened a number of times over the last week or so since I started flying the 767PIC again.As I fly the approach, I'm given a particular runway to land on. I then set NAV radios to MANual mode and tune the ILS frequency, and then set the course heading. However, I never get the ILS tracking.Other aircraft seem to get the ILS just fine (DF737, PSS Dash8)Is this a PIC problem, a NAVDATA problem, or FS2002 problem?-- Scotte

So from a fresh install of PIC, what patches of wilco do I need, and I also heard I need to change something in the aircraft config. I have the latest navdata, but it's missing some navaids that I regularly want to use, such as HUH (Whatcom, Washington) and YKA (Kamploops, BC) to name a few. I've tried adding the navaid data into the wpnavaid.txt file, but the FMC won't recognize it. Any ideas on how to do this? Also, I've downlaoded the Approaches for Vancouver, Edmonton and Toronto from DCScripts but only the Vancouver Approaches appear in the FMC airport app pages. Again, any ideas on how to get the FMC to see these? And before you ask, yes everything is in the proper folders, and have the proper extensions.

Takeoff speedsNo matter what I use as my ZFW (usually 245,000) and my reserves, the V1 for flaps at 15 is always 157. Isn't this a bit fast? Shouldn't the V1 change in response to my fuel load? Something I'm missing here?2. Takeoff using keyboard commandsOnce I hit V1, I guess I'm supposed to "pull back" by using the number 2 on the number pad to increase pitch. The question is... Hi all,I have been using a 767 sound package that I downloaded from fsfreeware by Brandon Williams and Aaron R Swindle. I just have a quick question about the flap sounds and wondered if anyone else has had the same problem. When I extend the flaps to flap 1 the sound continues on for 30 seconds. And also when retracting the flaps from 1 to 0 the sound continues for 30 seconds. Is this correct as all the other flap settings the sound stays for approx 3 seconds. Hope this makes sense. Got a picture of the sunrise out the window.2 - Landing at EGLL was a bit disappointing...overcast at 1000 feet, landing 9left, not much to see. Was hoping for a 27l/r arrival down the Thames with a nice view, was not to be. I am looking for the SID/STAR update for PIC767. If I can remember correctly, this was from a source other than Avsim or Wilco and had multiple Megabytes of both SIDs and STARs for both the US and the rest of the world. You could download as a complete package or as separate files.ThanksTerry

I'm a long time PIC767 user, since FS2000. I currently use FS2002 with the PIC767 (with the FS2002 patch) and the POSKY 762ER airfile and model (I fly the COA 762ER almost always). I've used this combo for a long long time and I am satisfied with how it flies. However, I've noticed that it wants a stab trim setting of 7.5 or greater for takeoff, even with just 50%-00%-50% fuel config and 15 degree flaps, otherwise it will stall and crash on takeoff. At 7.5 (stab trim), the alarm horn will always sound while rolling on takeoff but it will not stall.Am I supposed to use 7.5 (it is outside the normal green stab trim zone).Regards from KMIA

I have just started flying PIC 767 in FS2K2 which is superb, however, I have noticed on a couple of flights that I cannot get the nose down for landing, this is with full flaps and gear down?When I change aircraft to the PSS 744 for example, everything is fine and the aircraft makes a good landing.When I go back to the same flight and I use the PIC B767 the same happens again but only with the PIC B767, I have the WIn XP CH drivers for my Pilot Pro installed. Can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong, thanks and best wishes,chrisEGBB

I'm having trouble with the evevator on 767PIC. When fully deflectedfull up or full down it and held there it, on it's own, deflects full up and down rapidly.Has anyone had this problem or can anybody tell what may be wrong.ThanksFlyer2
