Hi everybody!I have a real flight plan from ABSA, a brasilian cargo airline that has one 767-300F. It is a flight plan from SPIM to KMIA. This flight has a payload of 57000 kgs and the operational weight of this 767 is 83000 kgs which gives me a ZFW of 140000 kgs. My question is, I can`t insert this ZFW at PICs FMC, why this is hapening??Thanx

Really like the sound of the P&W engines, but in the relentless pursuit for realism, are they on par with the stock PIC sound or more/less like real world ?I'd like any real pilots, ideally 767 drivers or frequent 767 travelers to verify thisThe sounds are excellent, well done to the producer of these......

Greetings Everyone,My VFR/LANDING View and PW Sounds have been up in the Avsim.com and Flightsim.com libraries for several weeks now. I was wondering if you all had recommendations as to other sites where I should post my work (and future updates)...? I was thinking Surclaro to begin with. Any other reccommendations? Thanks.http://cs-people.bu.edu/pgeddes/vfrlandingpic.jpgSincerely,Phil Geddes

Hi can anyone tell me how to get rid of the "Entry Doors" message on the EICAS. I have been through the checklist and I don't think that I have missed anything it seems as though the PAX are taking forever to board or the ground crew to load. What do I have to do to get rid of this message so that the doors close ? I can't find anything in the manual. Thanks a lot and happy landings!!BARGE

I am providing a link to Beta 5.2 for you, which I have just checked through and packed.http://planeta.terra.com.br/educacao/wagne.../767disp3b5.zipI am not that sure that this link will work just by clicking. If it doesn't, try copying and pasting it into a new browser window. This version is a public test. If no major issues come up I will upload it to Avsim. Please read the instructions and tips before asking for help. Here's hoping everything will work fine.Enjoy it.WagnerPS: Ilan, thanks for the tips. Actually I wanted to hide the headers from view but in a way everyone will get the same result without having to set that. I gave up (it was for the last two sheets).Prev…

Hi all, I got a question on landings. Whenever you use real weather without the winds aloft box checked I can land fine. Whenever winds aloft is checked or when I am on VATSim and there is a cross wind my plane comes in crooked. Ive tried to compensate by dropping a wing and using the rudder to no availal. So whats the proper precedure to straight out the airplane so you can land straight in wind. Do you give one of the engines more power than the other one? What exactly do you do to get the plane straight? Thanks for any info....Paul - UAL335

I have a gauge question for the PIC team. I am working on a VSI gauge with TCAS, and I've come to realize that the PIC panel has its own setting for lighting. I believe I need two gauge bitmaps depending on the state of the panel light switch on the overhead. What I would like to know is if there is a way for my gauge to read the state of the panel light switch? It does not seem to use any of the lighting token variables. Is it hidden in another token variable? Is it a named variable? Is it possible for an independent gauge to read this setting? In the .flt save files, I see PIC saving it as "Main panel light=".You can email me at [email protected] if you prefer. …

Hey!I have a problem while calculating the D-TO power setting I will be using for a specific T/O (Action performed by the CDU).I've checked the manual, and in the FMC Operations, I read that the temperature inputed into the CDU for a D-TO is between the actual OAT and 64

Hi everyone,Reinstalled PIC after a replacement motherboard installation. I've only now had a chance to play around with it, but what I am finding is that I can't enter the ZFW as 245 in the FMC anymore. I fiddled with a few things and have found that I can only enter in values around 112 or 113 for ZFW into the FMC and generate Vspeeds. Entering ZFW other then that results in an invalid entry error. I'm running FS2002 with the 2K2 Patch for PIC, and the updated NavData from the WilcoPub website. Other then that, everything is stock.Any ideas what is causing this error, or what I can try to fix it? I never had this problem before, so it's a bit surprising to find it …

HiAfter a break from fs2002, i,ve just reinstalled fs2002 and PIC .Still blows me away how nice this aircraft fly's.Of all the addons available I still think PIC is way ahead regarding aircraft sounds, especially in reproducing the effect of only hearing the wind noise at cruise, with little or no engine sounds. After checking out some settings it seems the Engine sounds decrease in volume as you climb, and it seems to be linked to OAT??.I wondering how this is done and could we reproduce this effect in other aircraft?.Great to be back flying this work of art.All the bestJohn

Hi To all:Can anyone please tell me why and how I go by correcting this problem.I use PIC-POSKY merge and always when I use the PIC panel, when running on the RNWY the plane goes to the left.Having the Y/D on or off does not make any difference, making it very hard to stay on the RNWY. Now if I use any different panel, the plane run direct on the center line. I tried this with POSKY plane only, the merge one's and always the same problem. Does anyone know how to cure this problem?

It has come to my attention that the AFCAD included in my recently uplodaded BOSAFCAD.ZIP is in fact an old AFCAD for Salt Lake City. If you downloaded this file, please contact me at [email protected] for the correct AFCAD file. A corrected ZIP has been submitted to AVSIM and will hopefully be fixed here soon. It may be faster to wait for the official posting of the file.Major apologies to all on this. I was really asleep at the helm on this one.JPS. For those who have NOT downloaded this file: This is NOT a stand-alone AFCAD for Boston; it is part of a scenery update and is intended for use with Airport 2000 Volume 2. If you haven't downloaded, please wait and download…

(elevator trim setting and reduced takeoff thrust are the main additions)Hi team,This Excel spreadsheet is a new version based on Rob van Leest's one, which I think is the most popular amongst PICers. I always wanted to have the ELEV trim setting calculated for me as well as to be able to use RTOT (reduced takeoff thrust) without it being purely a guesswork. I also wanted results in *METRIC* system. So here is a sample of what I'll be releasing in a few days, depending on the progress of our beta testing.Selected shots of input area of the sheet------------------------------------------RTOThttp://planeta.terra.com.br/educacao/wagne...kow/fs/rtot.jpgELEV TRIMhttp://planeta.…

I noticed that there are some nice 767-400 replacement textures at the POSKY web site. When (and if) I am able to get these textures running in 767PIC, will the flight characteristics change slightly, as they should, given that this is a larger aircraft than the 300 model? I hope so, because I would not want a 400 model flying like the default 300 model. Thanks,Robb

I got a problem reducing the aircraft. When the ATC gives me for example: speed 280, I cannot get it with -2000 f/m and spoilers fully on.Sounds to me normally an 767 should get this speed if ATC gives it. Otherwise it would be a mess...Any idea how to get it to work ?FlyerNL
