Hi,I had the strangest Autobrake problem the other day.I was flying out of EFHK, and started the t/o roll normally. At 100kts the wheel brakes suddenly went to maximum braking. I first thought that I had an engine failure, and the RTO mode had gone off in the autobrake system. Nope. I taxiied back into position, and verified all systems were go, and set Autobrake again to RTO. Off I went, at 100kts boom... brakes. Again maximum braking, and I'm puzzled. Well, I taxied back to the gate, and scraped my head for a while. I could NOT locate anything wrong with the aircraft. I even used the "PIC repair all failures" -option in the PIC menu. Nothing was broken, according to it.…

I've been testing PIC for a few days and am having trouble getting the LOC or APP to work.Tonight I flew from KDFW to KORD. Everything worked like clock work until I reached ORD airspace. I had the ILS APP for 32L input into the FMC but as I lined up the LOC would not kick in.The NAV RAD showed the ILS Freq for 32L under ILS but the VOR 1 was blank. The display on the AFDS showed the correct freq for the ILS that was on AUTO. I tried clicking on the ILS freq in the NAV RAD but kept getting "invald Entry".The other night I flew from KDFW to KIAH and as I made my approach I am sure I clicked on the ILS Freq in the NAV RAD and everything kicked in and I made a Cat III au…

Just for giggles and laughs, I decided to roll out another edition of my AIRAC data for PIC (Cycle 0210). I uploaded the navdata update to AVSIM and it should be available within 24 hours for those who may be interested.This data supercedes the set I published earlier in the year in tandem with the PIC patch for FS2002 (currently up on Wilco's website). For those who may be new to PIC: the upgrade posted on Wilco's site remains "the most compatible" with PIC and FS2002. It was tried-and-tested extensively in conjunction with the patch and is far more likely to be consistent with FS2002's navdata than this release.For the rest of you: Enjoy.Cheers,J

For some reason I cannot takeoff in the POSKY 767 V3. The elevator will not function at all to my keypress, while rudder and aileron remain functional. I am not using any special addons like FSUIPC and all AP systems and other automated flight functions are turned off for T/O. The problem disappears if I use another panel.-Matt

Hello people,An old computer recently passed out and I found myself with a surplus monitor. I would love to use it with PIC, but when it comes to hardware I know virtually nothing at all.So here's the deal:I have two monitors, one PC with a GeForce 2 MX-400card, one unused PC with a functioning graphics card (no idea what card it is, though).Is it possible to connect the second monitor to my computer and use it with PIC? And how do I do it, in that case? Basics please.Thanks for any help...

Hey all --I have a problem now with 767 PIC. When I press my rudder pedals(on my game port jotstick) or I press my main stick forward(on my USB joystick), when I reach the extreme edges of the range of motion, the joystick input gets real wacky, and the PIC plane starts jumpin around. Ok, since I installed a new hard drive on my computer I had to reinstall everything for FS that I had before. Which is fine, I reinstalled FS2k2, 767 PIC, and downloaded the POSKY DAL 767-300 and 767-200, as well as the merges for the PIC panel. Now to my question, when I go into the B763 PIC POSKY3 folder and click on the the setup.bat file it will bring up the DOS window, however it says "this folder does not appear to be part of "FS2002aircraft."Prior to installing a new hard drive I had the merges installed for both the 767-300 V3 and the 767-200 V3, and they both worked fine. However, since I have installed the new hard drive I have been unable to get them to work…

Greetings,I am using the PIC for quite some time already and every once in a while I encounter a strange and rather annoying problem.Even though I go according to the checklists and routines (well, I am at least pretty sure I do), after starting the APU and switching on APU/Engine Bleed as well as Left/Right/Center Isolation, I still only get a Duct Pressure of around 10 - which is obviously not even enough to run the ACO Packs, not even to speak of starting the engines.Also, if I connect to External Air, this doesn't help a bit.Does anyone have an idea what causes this problem? Am I doing something wrong, is it some sort of bug and, most importantly, how can I get rid of…

I have this problem with my PIC FMC,(using PICs 767) for example, flying from YSSY to PHNL the FMC only shows about half of the waypoints in the legs section. By using the FMC, then half way across the pond I'm on my own. I use 2K2 flight planner to set up the flight.Any help will be appricated.

Is anyone using FDC with PIC767? If so, is this a worthwile add-on, and does in have any great effect on performance (is it very CPU intensive)? Thanks....

Hello, Strange...normaly i use the PIC767/FMC under WinME using FS2002. I alway's make my flightplans with FSNavigator and his tool to convert plans to A *.rte extension in the: fs2002/FMCWP/Flightplans directory...and thats working flawless!Today I install every thing under WINXP....doing everything the same!Now the FMC would not let see my selfmade plans and not even the standard USA flightplans when push the RTE button?Its like its not looking in the: fs2002/FMCWP/Flightplans directory??/can someone please help me out?fmcdude

I have loaded the PIC767 and used Lee Hetherington's merge file to get the best of both worlds - POSKY textures and PIC panel.My problem is that when I spool up the engines on a take off run the Right engine doesn't spool up as quickly and the maximum is not as high - less than a full unit on the gauge. Consequently the aircraft pulls to the Right and it is a mongrel to keep on the or around the runway centreline.I have patched it for FS2k2.Please note that the issues above continue even with the joystick disabled.Any suggestions?

I'm quite sure it has been posted before... is there any way to use a 757 model with PIC's 767 panel? I use Lee Hetherington POSKY/PIC merger and it works fine for me, but since POSKY does not have a 757 model, I was wondering if it was possible to do so with another 757 model.Another thing, does anyone know if there's any update to this merger? I posted something about performance issues before... my merged 767 reaches 32000 feet and stalls... it's certified to up to 41000 feet isn't it?Thanks!

Hi to all I am slightly confused as to what exactly ZFW means when it is entered into the FMC- does it simp;ly mean the empty weight of the aircraft with the maximum number of passengers and crew as well as luggage or is it just the empty weight of the plane with no passengers, crew and luggage. appreciate all your help with understanding the proper meaning of this term.

Hello everyone..Iam so happy that I figured out how to use te FMC now..Ive had 767 PIC for sometime now and couldnt figure out how to use it..Well I read both manuels 2 times, And the 2nd time around I finally figred it all out..I did my first flight from JFK to KSEA and did a perfect manuel landing.. I feel so complete now.. :)- Eggy

Hello allAs all here YES the PIC is the most real aver made so far for FS.One thing I miss is the PW engine EICAS using EPR for thrust.Know this has been spoken before but I really really miss that.The biggest reason is that I am working to create a very REAL airfile for FS2002 but the PW engine runs a bit different that the GE engine.Guess it could be quite alot of work but hey to get a no you need to ask a question.Best RegardsJesper L.

Well I really hate bitmaps!!! Oh well this is work in progress. There are a couple of new gauges plus a more PIC look with corrected color on the panel and it is by no means done. Let me know what you folks think so far. Best Wishes,Randy J. Smith
