When I file a flight plan and I take off, the aircraft will just fly away(autopilot engaged) from the navigation route and the vnav will not engage, and when I click on the Lnav it will fly some other heading and still getting away from navigation course, What am i doing wrong here?

Hi there this might have been brought up before but I will love if PIC 767 instrument panel screens (EHSI, ADI, EICAS) could be deattached so they could be moved and placed in different monitors for a homebuilt cockpit project, with all the failures feautres excellent frame rates and emergencies that PIC has it would be an excellent base for a home cockpit. Maybe this is too much to ask but it would be very helpful if values like overhead panel lights etc. could be read and extracted by fsuipc. so that it made PIC easy to integrate into a cockpit.ThanksRoberto Soriano

I did a flight to CYVR tonight & it turns out that there is no ILS info for any of the runways. I ended up going into the file and adding it in. I just downloaded the new nav data & the ILS info for CYVR is still not there. I'll probally add it tomorrow or this morning since it's after midnight. But I would think a large airport like CYVR would have the data in the file. Even KPDX does and its smaller.John

I usually fly the Martinair 767(posky of course) and i recently bought 767 PIC and i'm using the panel but there is a black spot which i can't get rid of. The red line is the panel line, the big black area is covered by the panel as you know except the spot in the left corner circle with the green and blue lines which represent the black spot I'm talking about, can any tell me what to do about this?Note: the reason I couldn't put the panel there is because the file size was too big and I didn't know how to make it smaller to upload it*

Tonite I finally got around to using the PIC/POSKY merge file that I dl'd. I ran this setup.bat, and in an unrelated action, I changed my AGP from 2x to 4x. Now, when I'm in PIC cockpit mode, my frame rates dropped from steady 16, to 10-11. Outside mode, taking off out of EGLL (uk2000 scenery) I've got 16fps, go back inside, drops to 10-11. I don't normally worry about fps, but taking off out of EGLL it was noticeable rolling down the runway. Any ideas?LobaeuxAMD 1700512 DDR RAMGeForce 3 ti 20040 GB 7,200 HDWinXPPIC767/POSKY

Hi, folks...I was working on an 767 ADP (Air Driven Hydraulic Pump) problem today when I found some interesting stuff in the DDG's/MEL's. Apparently, with the ADP inoperative, the landing gear will take 2.5 times as long to retract... and the flaps an extra 30% longer to extend/retract. This will have an effect on initial climb performance... and it may be necessary to reduce the aircraft weight to clear obstacles (mountains, buildings, etc) after takeoff. After rectification was completed, we ran a few tests. One of these (official) tests was to run the Centre Hydraulic system using only the ADP... and activate as many control surfaces as possible to drive the hydraulic s…

Hi allI've had PIC for a few months and I now no longer fly anything else(well, excpt for the DF737 and ERJ). I've been curious as to whether there are supposed to be noises when operating the knobs and buttons on the overhead panel(Kinda like the DF737). I do not have any sound effects when doing so. I do have them when I click on the external lighting switches from the main forward view which is what brought on my curiosity. Can anyone confirm that there are not supposed to be noises with the overhead panel? Thanks!Eric

Hi Everyone,I am posting this just as a reference to those who may have this problem or will have it in the future. I posted two messages in the last couple weeks asking for help with problems that came up on the PIC panel after someone connected via multiplayer. The problem was that all my caution/warning annunciators would illuminate, my FMC wouldn't let me enter new data and it showed the flight plan from my previous flight, even if i completely shut the plane down...and even turned my computer off.I am happy to report that I have figured out what was wrong...it wasn't my panel at all. The problem was in my friends' plane. I don't know why it caused this, but it di…

For the sake of short flights I purchsed the PSS airbus series, which are supposed to be good aircrafts. As matter of fact they are Ok, but the PIC is unbeatable. Eric and team, you guys did a great job. I still think that PIC is still the #1 add-on for FS and still far to be beaten.Thank You. Gianfranco.

I recall that there are some sites with files for SIDs and STARs for PIC? Can anyone help with a liknk to any of these sites? Thanks,Bruce.

I'm running out of room. I have the great radar gage by Eric Marciano and Jorge Salas, and I have the Servinfo gage. Now I want to add FSMETEO display. But all the keys have been taken up. You know like Shift+1-9. Any help would be appreciated.

**THIS** CRAZY!!!This is the current #1 online hours position on VATSIM: Mike you are INSANE!!!

New version of Servinfo is out with a new feature.A gauge which can easily be installed on your favorite aircraft panel - you can use this to browse what controllers are online and (sit down) change to their freq both with com1 and roger wilco.Easy to install...http://www.eleventhstreet.com/images/si.jpgIan Elchitz

Just started flying the PIC B767-300 using SID and STAR procedures for simulating real carrier flights. There I came accross a nasty bug which is related to the PIC FMC gauge in FS 2002. After a while, FS2002 stops responding for 2 secs and FS crashes completely. This happens often when I want to access data on the "RTE DATA" page. I could not find a detailed faultlog report, except this general one:The description for Event ID ( 1000 ) in Source ( Microsoft Flight Simulator ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to r…

Hi people,Someone posted a little while ago a picture of a landing view implemented in PIC panel (was it Pedro or Lee?). I wonder if that person could contact me, as I would be very keen on having it as well. I know that there might be some copyright issues regarding the bitmap, but some instructions etc. on how to do it, would be greatly appreciated.I fly 95% of my flights in VATSIM with PIC and really would love a more realistic view outta window during approach and ldg. Now with the new servinfo out, I think that the landing view would just top the cake :).Best regards,Teroemail: [email protected]

I just bought PIC and so far I love it! One thing that does no seem to work according to manual is the loading of flight plans from the FS2002 flightplanner into the FMC.The pdf manual directs me to go to the route page, enter the saved 8-digit PLN name via the scratchpad, and then activate and execute the route. I can enter the PLN name without a problem, but I can neither activate nor execute the route. After activation, I cannot view the legs of the plan with the PREV PAGE and NEXT PAGE buttons as advertised. There is apparently no plan present in the FMC.Am I missing something? Any help is appreciated!David
