First let me say this has been an independent project outside of the development staff of jdtllc which will not take any responsibility of its use. Enjoy RC4 so far just a few things need some info on. Using W7 64 bit FS9.1, Ultiamte Traffic, BP inter KMCO scenery. I was at gate 23 at KMCO the ATIS only gave rwy 35L for landing and departing, So I requested RWY 36R since I was on that side of the airport UT 3 AI taxing in front of me, us air, contintal. ATC never talked to them at all I was number 4 and given clearance to taxi in pos and hold as #2 but I waited till runway cleared but I could hear ATC talking to the folks on RWY 35L any ideas? Also I'm using Ulitmate Gulfstream and Chanlenger AI which land and take off everywhere at ATC never talks to, one day I was taking off and one was landing from the other…

Hello, I want to you contact because we recently bought your Radar Contact application. This software is used on our simulator (www.737project.com) who also works with personal applications, SIOC and Project Magenta. The problem today is that we use offsets from the area between 3210 and 32EF including 3253 offset . We have a conflict because you also use these offsets. Can you tell me the offsets you use, the size and if possible their use so as not to have conflicts between my applications and yours? Thank you for your help. Sorry for my bad English. Ive been trying to fly with RC a number of times now and each time ive had to just abort RC and do my own thing. Perhaps ive missed something or misunderstood, but its not working out. Here are the issues I face. Not sure if this is realistic, but within a center im being passed off every few minutes to change frequencies. I understand there are sectors and also the low, high and super, so climbing thru FL230 will be a switch as well if you go at or above FL350. My last flight was KSFO-CYYZ. FL350. It had me switch 5 times all within a very short amount of time, and all were centers. Not including departure. Doesnt seem real to me. Or perhaps my ignorance. Im s…

Hi JD RC4 is a great tool, and unlike a lot addons these, it works like it was tested in detail, excellent product. But for my experience with JD license i cant say the same. IN order to reduce load on my system drive moved rex,as2012 and rc4 , reinstalled all in new drive same PC. Rex and As2012 licenses were ok, but the JD license failed, and i have had to request new license to use software i already purchased on same PC with no hardware changes. Please help us improve the licesne situation to adapt with fsx users needs to reconfigure thier PC platform as and when needed without having to request a new liscence for every move i make.

Hi, Today morning I was flying (Wilco A320 Evolution) form EKCH (Copenhagen) to LOWW (Wien), and when I was round 60 miles from LOWW, I heard an ATIS where runway to land was 16. Two minutes later, when I was switching to Approach - I got vectors to runway 11. No weather update during those two minutes. And here is the question - what was wrong that runway in ATIS was different from indicated by Approach? I use FS9,1 and FSrealWX as a weather program (the program uses Vatsim servers)

Hi All, I am having a big problem with RC all of a sudden---I have been re-establishing my flight sim and getting all the little bugs sorted out with my PMDG, Navigraph Data, FSBuild, and Radar Contact flight plans----soooo!!! I get it all set up and load a RC plan into my PMDG 737NGX and wham---it moves my aircraft from the Gate at sfo out into the center of the airport and there is no RC running or text plack showing---Help Thanks for any information---Cheers Dorn Cranert

I created a flight plan in FSBuild from UDYZ (Yerevan) to URSS (Sochi). I'm sitting on the tarmac in my ifly 737, I start RC, load the flight plan, and hit "Start RC" and here I am all of a sudden, out in the middle of the ocean off the coast of Africa. I then simply reset the flight so I am back on the ground in Yerevan, and I call the FSS to clear my plan. ATC seems to be acting normally still, but the controller is telling me to contact "Accra" center after I've departed. If I'm not mistaken Accra is in Ghana - on the West African coast (which is near where my plane was moved to upon starting RC). What is going on? I'm thinking it has something to do w…

I did read the manual and the tutorial flights but there it still is unclear to me how to make sure I can fly a STAR exactly the way it is in the plans, both laterally and vertically. What I did: build my plan in FSBuild, including the STAR. Exported it all to FS9 and FSNav. When starting FS9 I also pulled up FS9 to see whether the full route including the STAR is in there. It is. Opened up FS9 flight planner, again all waypoints of the route including the STAR were included. I program my FMC with the route and STAR, all is in there including the altitude restrictions of the STAR. Thus, until here all is well. I then do my flight with with RC. All is well inflight…

When at an uncontrolled airport and a call is placed I get a wait messge saying this may take a while then the runtime error 9 I searched on the forum and found the same problem and said to make sure all the voice sliders are to the left. i have done that but still the same problem help ?

Hello I have installed and configured all options for RCv4. After starting FSX I set my free flight parameters and then start up RCv4 by importing a flight plan which is accepted by RCv4. After launching the flight in FSX "Fly Now" my aircraft loads up in the prescribed location and RCv4 ATC window loads up indicating RCv4 is ready. It is at this point where there is no response from RCv4 regardless of keyboard input? My first waypoint appears in the ATC window but there is no activity/response from RCv4. Occasionally I get this problem so I am not sure why RCv4 does not start up from time to time? I have attached a copy of most recent log where I have encountering…

I bought RC a couple of days ago and so far I absolutely love it. I had been playing with the idea since many years but what kept me from buying it was that I thought to have understood that it doesn't have all the callsigns and that it was impossible to add new ones. For instance I wanted to fly Virgin America, callsign "REDWOOD", but that didn't exist in RC. In a recent exchange on simflight.com someone told me that this wouldn't be a restriction of RC anymore. "All" callsigns would be included (I understand that of course "all" isn't literally "all" but let's say 95% of what flies in FS, including small airlines and military), and that in any case I could edit/myse…

Hi all, I've had My Traffic 5.4 for a while and now just got RC 4.3. I love it except for the fact that airline callsigns are messed up. For example, instead of the controller saying "American 1467", the controller says "Alpha 1467". I have no idea how to fix this and have gone through the manual to boot. Thanks!

Hi, I have installed RC; deselected single line messages and accepted multiline messages in FSUIPC. However the menu function is dreadfully slow. If I receive an instruction it takes about 30 to 50 seconds before the option comes for a readback (#7 on the menu). Anyone esle have this problem? Cheers.

Hi there, is it possible to reduce the amount of space RC leaves between myself and AI aircraft, I don't like how it makes them hold quite far behind me when I am say for example holding short at the runway. Kind Regards, Dan

Hi I have this problem: When I am in the cockpit in the high altitude the voice of ATC (In Radar Contact) is very weak and I must loud the speaker volume to hear the instructions from ATC correctly and In this way the engine sound will be louder! Is there any way that I could louder the voices in the Radar Contact?

Hi, What could be the morse I've heard during my first RC4 flight between KBNA and KSAT with a PMDG737? I normally use the VOR signal OFF and turn it on only before capturing an ILS code to remind me to prepare things for landing. I am sure there was no NAV radios with the morse ON during all flight, but it was there. Did I miss something in the Manual? Regards,

Hi, My VA needs to use a FSUIPC version of 4.7 and above for the flght logging software, but I can't seem to get RCv4 to work with the latest. When I use the new version RC moves me to the middle of the airport, pauses the FSX and doesn't render the main box. Reverting to the shipped v4.1.5 works fine. Any ideas? My Specs: Win 7 x64 FSX REX Essentials GSX 8gb RAM Intel Core i7 Processor 250gb SSD HDD I'm at a loss here. I even tried reinstalling FSX from scratch today, but that didn't solve anything but a few scenery bugs that had developed. Any suggestions would be great.

Hi all, I am returning to FS after a while and have both FSX and FS9. When I reinstalled RC4 it recognised FSX but not FS9 on the install screen. This may be because I updated my PC and started with Windows 7 after instaling FS9 - FS9 was installed on a separate hard drive and still runs fine from the drive it was installed on simply by running fsx.exe and I am reluctant to reinstall all of FS9, not least because I almost certainly won't be able to reinstall the PSS Airbus now they have gone bust. Is there any way to either make the installer recognise FS9 (I assume there is some registry entry it searches for or something) or otherwise get RC4 to work with both F…

Hello, I just picked up UT2 and am having an issue, which has been documented, but I can't fix. When RC encounters Mesaba, it says MIKE. I used TrafficLook to see what it was supposed to be. It was Mesaba Airlines. So I checked c4.csv and the entry was: mesaba, mesaba, Mesaba Aviation, 0,0 I changed it to: mesaba, mesaba, Mesaba Airlines, 0,0 to match. But it still says MIKE every time. Am I missing something? Thanks!

I have a problem with RC using the generic callsigns for much of my AI Traffic such as Uniform instead of United, Juliet instead of JetBlue, etc. What could be the cause and the solution? John

About 25 miles out and after receiving ILS approach clearance and vectors to final to RWY 4L at KCSS (AFB) in my C17 from KCHS, Approach directs a heading of 310. Aircraft turned to heading 310. Panel directional gyro/heading indicator shows 310, GPS shows 310. Magnetic compass verifies 310. FSX Map verifies heading is 310. Continue to receive: "I say again, fly heading 310." Attempts to turn left or right to adjust for possible error does not help. After about 10 pronouncements, Approach provides the final ILS capture heading for the runway.
