Hi I'm successfully running Radar Contact 4.3.3845 on a client computer with no problems. Due to a reinstall of FSX and 3rd party scenery I had to run Makerwys.exe v4.6 again within the FSX folder as instructed, then activated 'Rebuild Scenery DB' in RC. It found the correct files and built the database. I notice in the Makerwys readme it says T5.csv contains all the taxi paths and is used by later versions of Radar Contact - does this include 4.3.3845, as my FO when we exit a runway never gives the correct runway exit taxiway designation. The same applies with the parking gate, he only gets it right if I enter the correct gate number in the 'Controller Info…

Hello all. I suffered a minor problem with something (... ) in my FS9 installation during the weekend. I have a registered version of FSUIPC 3.999 and RC 4.3.3845 RC doesn't seem to recognise Roberto Julio Gomez' addon SAYJ in the Antarctic. I tried flying to SAN and when I loaded my flightplan into RC there is no comm frequencies on the comm page nor any runway to select. When i asked for my clearance RC cleared me to "airport as filed" its like it doenst recognize SAN at all. I tried loading up a flight from SAN also and when I loaded the flightplan again there was no information for SAN. I selected ok anyways and then it made my FS crash. Anyone ever have problems flying to/from SAN? I am using FlyTampa's scenery.

Is there a way to switch off the annoying traffic at.... calls every 20 seconds or so ? I fly with a lot of AI traffic but it's not customary in RVSM airspace to be alerted to every aircraft in the vicinity at different flight levels.than the one you're flying.at. Martin

I get an error from this mail when i try to send away my key request it just says Mail Delivery Failure and a bunch of stuff in the mail i get back...

I recieve this message when starting RC4.3 for FSX. Have never seen it before and don't have it in RC4.3 for FS9. Both on the same computer.

Hey, I just recently bought and downloaded Radar Contact V4.3.3845. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I using FSX with It's Your Plane add-on, Rex 2.0. I just installed RCv4.3 and whenever I try and load a flight plane, it gives me an error: Run-Time Error 481 - Invalid Picture. It also gives me this error when I click on the voices button. Has anyone one else encountered this error? I have no idea what to do in order to fix this. This would suck big time after spending over $50 to purchase this software. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Every time I run Rc4 it seems like the menus get slower. Should I do a re-install ? Or get another key and connect from another pc thru FSUIPC? If the latter, how do I get another key?

HiI've been using RC4 for absolutely ages with no issues whatso ever. However today when trying a flight from KSFO to KLAX I load up at the gate and as soon as I start RC it makes my aircraft jump to the centre of the airport. I've tried with a few flightplans now and everytime it make my plane jump to the departure airport, even if I'm somehwere else. The on screen menu also fails to load after this.The only things I've recently installed on my computer are, FS2Crew NGX, Flightbeam KSFO, and FSDT's KLAX and KLAS.Any help will be gratefully appreciated.

Hi, The last topic about V5 is two years old, so I'm wondering if the project is still on development ? I read somewhere that VFR would be included, and this is why I don't buy V4 for now. I like to fly both IFR and VFR, and I really need the ATC even if I just want to fly half an hour, just to enjoy a quick good flight :) Thanks.

Hi Don't know if this is still possible with FSX and the latest version of FSUIPC. I have just installed RC 4.3 on a client computer through FSUIPC, everything is working very well. Is there any way I can have the RC Display Window showing on the client computer's screen rather that on the FSX screen. I notice this paragraph from the 4.3 manual but think it refers to older versions of FSUIPC that used AVDisplay. If you want the RC menus to appear on the second machine you can use the 'ShowText' utility which is part of Pete Dowson's AdvDisplay. Hi John My RC4 atis does not match what AS2012 is injecting into FSX, where does RC4 pull its ATIS data from, I am using the below settings. test from departure and arrival indicate AS2012 weather correctly being injected into FSX but RC4 ATIS not matching, wind was close but Rc4 indicating heavy IFR when sky was clear, could this be an incorrect setting in FSUIPC AS2012 Latest Beta,DWC mode, ATIS voice off, flight plan loaded FSX Acceleration Latest version of RC4 FSUIPC4.82 registered AS2012 and RC4 running from client widefs Regards Wayne

I have been away from Radar Contact for quite some time, been using Vatsim instead, Now I have mastered PMDG's 737NGX and Bryans FS2Crew NGX, I thought I would re-visit RC to compliment the other two programs. I appreciate this problem has been kicked to death in the past, but I can't get the ATIS from RC to obtain the correct destination wx. From reading other posts on this subject it appears I should be using the latest updates to RC, FSUIPC and AS2012, well I am, but still only get the local ambient wx when the FO gets the ATIS. Hi, I just installed RC4 after being away from flight sim community for quite awhile. Since Ive got a pretty descent system to run fsx now I thought Id have no issues.. Well Fsx runs very smooth for me but when i start RC I get very slow response times, For example if im told to contact tower I have to wait close to a minute for it to show up as an option for me. Same goes for every command.. I am using pmdg 747-8, activesky 2012, I have latest registered version of FSUIPC. My system specs are: windows 7 64bit, 8gb of ddr3 ram, i5 2500k at 4.8ghz, Flight sim is installed on a seperate 1gb WD black hard drive along with all the addons. Hello, I am flying with the Wilco Airbusses 319-321 in FSX while using Radar Contact and have the following issue: The FMCG automatically activates the final approach phase at a certain point in the flight plan (deceleration point) before the arival airport (it is reducing speed, it locks in the programmed approach runway and sets the ILS). Unfortunately, Radar Contact usually requests to contact Approach only after this point. So, when I receive the runway to use for the approach, the Final Phase including runway and ILS etc. is already set which cannot be changed w/o starting a GO Around procedure which actually resets the Final Approach phase.
