Good Evening, I don't have RC4, but it's on my list of "to get when I can use FSX" list. I'm wondering how the SID/STAR system works. Since I never put a SID or STAR into my FP, but always use the FMC, I'm wondering how this will work. Will ATC, as long as I'm in that 30nmi limit, let me fly the SID that's not part of the FP entered, or wil they tell me I'm off course? Thanks for responding,

Hi,I cant get my rc4.3 activated. When i click on click here after you pasted you key aboveit just doesn't do anything for a few seconds and then it says that it isn't responding.Can you give me some help.Frank Kouwen

Hi JD,I have a problem with RC recognising one particular airport ICAO. I have a flight plan generated by FSNav which starts the flight at LOWG (GRAZ) and terminates at LIRN. I load the fp into RC but the fp window does not show the start airport ICAO.I have tried other Austrian airports as I regulary fly from LOWS with no problem. I tried rebuilding the scenery data base and I have looked at the fp which I saved in FS2004 and I have compared the information in the LOWG plan to say LOWS and the FS2004 plan has all the correct information relating to LOWG.Can you please helpBest Regardsnavyman

Been getting these after and hour or so, consistently. Don't know if this has anything to do with RC4 or not.I've read conflicting views on what cause this--from scenrry layers to conflicts with FSX's atc.I do have utx, gex, scenery tech and fs global running.I am curious as to whether the fsuipc.ini fix will work for FSX, because it all referred to FS9.Thanks.Dan Cole

Similar topic already exists but due to the fact that it's older than 180 days, it wouldn't allow me to reply to it.I have a little problem where RC calls American Eagle 'American' instead of "Eagle Flight". There's a whole bunch of flights departing from ORD with this callsign. I believe I have a correct addition in the c4.csv, please double check this entry.AMERICANEAGLE,eagleflight,,0, 0

Now this problem has become very frequent. I am doing a 2-3 hrs flight and suddenly in between it will freeze. keys wont respond. handing comm to co-pilot wont work either. Most of the time it happens after the atis information but when i notice its just happening randomly. Keys stop reponding. then i go to the task manager and there i see radar contact 'Not Responding'. In my recent post I explained about RC4 causing my FSX to stutter. I've done some more testing and found when I right click and close the green transparent box with the radar contact commands my stutters magicaly dissapear. And for some reason they return when the box is there. Also I find odd that when I communicate with my FS2CREW my voice commands make this green box re-appear? this is all getting to be crazy to me. Can anyone help. I have the latest MKRWY and FSUIPC but it seemt to be a problem with the green box, or with how it communicates with FSX or whatever.

I use RC4 along with Ultimate Traffic 2.My VA flies out of Heathrow and Gatwick. Yesterday at Gatwick I waited 25 minutes at the hold point for incoming aircraft (which I understand) but most annoyingly RC cleared 6 aircraft for take off that arrived at an adjacent hold point AFTER me!It made the experience of a "quick" shuttle flight to Manchester into a boring nightmare. Short of drastically reducing traffic density what can I do to make the queue release a little fairer and lifelike?

Hello,I am having a sound issue with my Radar contact. I have just bought a new computer I7 2600K Intel mother board, 16Gig RAM with a Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional Series sound card. I use FSX and windows 7 64 bit ultimate OS. My Graphic Card is A HD 6970 ati card. I have the Creative inspire T7700 7.1 speakersThe issue that I am having is that I do not get Radar contact ACT on my head phones but through my speakers its ok. The strange thing is that I can get FSX ACT on my head phones with I tune it on.I solved the issue with FSx ACT after 1 week but on this one I am stumped.Has anyone got any ideas what I am doing wrong ?Best Regards,Claudio

Hi folks,we would like to integrate RC4 into our "home cockpit". However since I would like to do all the stuff from within the cockpit I bought 2 numeric keypads (USB) which I placed into the cockpit.It seems, I'm not able to use this numeric keypads. I'm able to assign the numeric keys in the options menu (it shows the same values as the ordinary number keys), but later "in action" RC simply ignores it - it only react to the ordinary number keys (tested num lock on/off). Testing the numeric keypads with textedit - the hardware itself works fine.Is there any way to get this, because I don't want to jump out of the cockpit to hit a key on my computer keyboard for every ra…

Hi, having a problem with ATIS, it keeps giving the wrong runway for both take off and landing. Last night, for example, i flew from Alicante Spain, to London Gatwick. Alicante ATIS gave 08 for take off and landing, then ATC sent me to 24. On approach to Gatwick, ATIS told me 8R, then approach sent me to 26L. Approach was correct for both wind direction, and flow of AI. Any idea what might be going on. Thanks.

When are we going to see high speed turn-off correct taxi ID recognition, instead of generic IDs? I have corrected EDDF to the added new runway. RC recognizes the new main taxiways correctly, but not the runway turnoffs (which are taxiways too) after exiting the runway and during advising ground of the current location to obtain taxi clearance, Or is the problem mine?

This is just a thought I always had, I fly on Vatsim alot and use rc4 when no atc is online, I follow rc4 instructions while maintaining my own separation from other players and always announce my intentions on the unicom, would it not be cool if we had a dedicated rc4 multiplayer server, where we could all connect using real world weather and rc4 for atc, but of course keeping in mind that rc4 would not be able to see other online traffic so we would have to look out for one another and communicate via unicom, I wish I knew more about how this could be set up using a client like fsinn so that fs9 and fsx folks could participate, if that's even possible. Ho there all,I'm having some issues with RC4.3.The most glaring is that whenever I run it all AI traffic disappears. I don't hear it on the radios, I don't see it in the world, the AI views option isn't there, and nothing shows up on any traffic addons (PMDG transponders, EFB traffic on the moving map, etc.) I don't have any traffic addons and usually keep my traffic level at 40% but changing it now has no effect on whether traffic appears or not. I have the latest FSUIPC so I don't think that's it.The other issue is just how slow RC4 is to respond to input. After hearing from a controller or picking an option I'll press "1" or whatever and it takes a good 20-30 seconds…

Hey while looking around I found the Meatwater addon voice pack - but the files are from a few years ago.Just wondering if anything has changed or are they a good addition and worth the time?Not that I have any problems with current voices but people seem to have liked these alot back then.

Has anyone executed a successful ILS vectored approach and landing to this airport? I have tried 3 flights Istanbul-Antalya using RC4 to no avail. I receive instructions to prepare for vectors and then nothing afterward, I wind up about 30-40 miles over the sea.The ILS designators and frequencies in Navagraph conform to those in the Afcad. can some one give me an overview of how they work; especially the STAR procedures. How do I activate them? In my past two flight ATC had been telling me I was "off-course" when I thought it was understood to them that I was flying my STAR. This is since I had already gone past the last way point I had filed (and I thought I was then free to do whatever until I got to the final approach fix).Any help greatly appreciatedThanks, Sam

Hi guys, after some extensive testing to rid mysely of these crazy stutters I was getting, and not the normal FSX stutter. These were almost like screen freezes for a split second every half second almost like the second hand ticking on a clock. Not thinking rdar contact had anything to do with it, it was the last thing I tried. After a fresh windows install and virgin FSX install with only RC4X installed I tested. No RC4 connected to FSX no stutters. With RC4 connected to FSX unflyable stutters. Hi guys, another one from me. I was flying SBLO-SBGR. I had in my 737 ngx fmc a waypoint with a FL150A restriction. About 40 miles from the waypoint, RC gives me PD to FL120. So, I go to FL150 until the waypoint, and then, after the waypoint I plan to go down to FL120. Turns out that, way before the waypoint, RC asks me to descend to FL120 and asks me to do it in less than 30 miles. So, I do as the ATC says, and disrespect the FL150A wpt restriction.Is this right? Can the ATC disrespect a waypoint alt. restriction? Or am I doing something wrong? Maybe something wrong with the plan?In my controller info, I'm using the Alt. Restrictions normally.

Hi,Sorry folks - ignore below comments - wrong forumInstalled the new LICJ scenery. Trouble is every time I leave the taxiway to line-up and Hold as instructed. I get the message " Have left the taxiway". If I ignore this and carry on to take-off, I hear a loud bang followed by the "Emergency evacuation" meswsage from the cabin staff. This occurs no matter which RWY I use.Any hints?Regards JohnT

During my flights every now and then the controller's voice is not being heard. However, instructions given by the controller are acknowledged by the co-pilot. When I, after acknowledgement, hit the "repeat last instruction" the controllers instruction is being played. These "drop-outs" occur randomly and the next instructions are being played without a problem. Any idea what can be the cause of this wee problem and how to solve it?(FYI, Play Pilot Wavs, Interact with AI, Pilot Autoreply and TUne on Contact are all set to on and Otto has the comms).Thanks,Hans vanWyhe

Before upgrading from Windows XP to Windows 7 x64 I was able to allocate Sound to the Default Speakers and Voices to seperate Headphones, enabling me to hear ATC more clearly. Now however I have W7-64 and also installed Radar Contact and despite my `phones being recognised in the Options/sound/voices all sounds continue to come thru the main speakers alone.I would appreciate it anyone has some adviceMany thanksGeorge
