Hi,I'm quite interested in purchasing RC but concerned about compatibility with my current add-ons (see my sig). Any advice on this is much appreciated. I am interested in RC as a possible lead-in to VATSIM in the longer term. I will be flying the NGX naturally.

Hello Aviation Enthusiast! I apologize if this has been posted else ware - I did run a search before asking.I built a new computer for Xmas and I am getting back into FSX again (it has been a while).A year ago I purchased RC and downloaded it from Digital River. My old computer hard drive I downloaded it to has since died.I still have the receipts and all of the emails but Digital River no longer holds my download.I am out of luck or can I provide all of my purchase details and get back on board?

Is there a list somewhere of which areas are represented by the numbered folders in the Winwood folder.It is a pain to click on every one to see what it is.Thanks.Dan Cole

Hello everyone. I bought Multi Crew Exp. the other week and I am haveing problems with right now. It seems to freeze my flight sim when running it with RC. Has anyone ever had this problem?

HI,Since I update ASE for AS2012 I notice RC is very slow to respond at the end of my flight in FSX....I use AS2012 with DWC mode and it's the same for all the airplane even with the default one. (I have the last registered version of fsuipc4.Do you have a solution for that?Thank youChristian

There I was ploughing along my filed flight plan when suddenly RC4 asks me to more-or-less U-turn with some garbled message about a suitable navigation something or other. Its happened to me a few times now... I can't figure out what it means... after about half an hour I get fed up and turn back onto my flight plan, but within minutes the controller is turning me around again. Why does this happen and what can I do about it? This is RC4.3 for FSX, and at the time I was flying a PMDG 738 NGX

I have just tried to use Radar Contact 4 for the first time but all I get is an error message "IPC timed out all retries"!What is IPC?

Dear all,I have searched throught the forum extensively and could not find a solution so far. It seems the problem impacted quite a lot of users so you may be able to help me. I'm a registered user since 2 days, and RC4 does not react to keyboard inputs.RC4 seems to work fine. But I get no response from any number entered on either the keyboard or number pad.I am running Win 7 64bit with FSX. I am running as ADMIN, starting RC4 after the plane is fully ready for flight at the parking. I have set-up the keyboard shortcuts as CTRL + NUM PAD 1, 2, 3, etc...in order to not conflict with other FSX shortcuts. I am using the default 737 and A321.I have the latest version of FSUI…

After running setup from the CD, when I go to the step 1 of the installation instructions,'Start RCV4.exe', I get the following error message: 'Component 'MSINET.OCX' or one of it's dependencies not correctly requested, a file is missing or invalid'. I'm about to add Great Lakes Airlines AI aircraft with flight plans to FS9. How can I get RC4 to recognize the new AI aircraft? Is this automatic or do I need to add anything to the aircraft.cfg file of the AI aircraft? This is something I haven't done before so I wanted to ask before doing it.Also, I believe Great Lakes Airlines is under the name Northern Freight or something similar in RC4, correct?Todd

What exactly is makerunways and what does it do? I just got RC 4.3 and when I ran the scenery rebuild it asks if I have makerunways installed. I found the program to download but is it needed to run RC properly?

I was doing a cargo flight from SBGL up to KIAH the other day, and handed the controls to "Otto" so I could eat. When I returned, I noticed that he had been looping around the VOR TFE (Near Tefe, Brazil) numerous times. The GPS was showing the flight plan as continuing, and when I took over controls, switched from NAV to GPS and switched the Autopilot from HDG to NAV, it continued on fine. When I switched controls back to Otto, he circled the aircraft back to go to TFE and continued his looping around TFE.

I've had an email from John regarding this issue, however it didn't solve my problem and I thought other users could benefit from the (soon to be expected) solution as well.I'm running Windows 7 64 bit on an iMac, natively via dual boot (Bootcamp). I've purchased Radar Contact 4.3, received the key as well.However I'm not able to get past the registration screen. I start RC4.exe as administrator, registration screen comes up, I copy/paste the key (or type it) and I click the button. Nothing happens for about 5 to 10 seconds. The registration window closes, no error message. When I open RC4.exe again, I'm prompted to enter key and the same happens.basically I can't get pas…

Hi AllI got RC for Christmas and I'm loving it, however I have a question about the chatter in the UK. I looked in the winwood folders and saw there was a UK folder, however, is there any way to separate London and Scottish control chatter as I noticed on a couple of flights to and from Iceland that even at the far north of Scottish control the chatter was referring to helicopter traffic near London City. I am still reading the manual section about chatter but I haven't fully grasped it yet. It would be nice to stop all the London chatter when in Scottish control airspace.Its not a big problem, and I like hearing the chatter even if it is slightly out geograhically. I'll …

Boy i woukl sure love to fly if it was not for bugs and crap.now that i dont get flight calls , i loaded the latest makerwys into the main FSX folder on computer 1 and ran it.on computer 2 i ran radar under admin , hit the DB Scenery , it will ask if this is a widefs config , i said yes. because im running radar on a second machine right.then it will say run the makerwys on your fsx machine which i did. then on the second machine it will ask for path of a certain file r5.csv where it was created.does that mean the path to the fsx folder on the main machine, im so confused:)Also JD how do you send a log to You , im still cant get radar to call out flight levels.Thanks...…

Im trying to get FSX up and running on a client machine running XP (FS machine is Vista). During the install it ask for the FSX install path. I have shared it and it has full permission but it always says its not available. I skipped that part and it finished installing. I have also shared the folder that contains the flight plans sucessfully and I can load A flight plan from RC on the client computer. However when I try to leace the controller center I get " Run-Time Error 75 Path/File access error" All I am running is MSE. Currently FSX And RC are communicating but the proper foldes that need to be shared dont seem to be working. Everything on the FS machine has…

Hey folks got everything working right and now that im in the air, atc will tell me to go to a altitude it will not tell me in numbers.it wll say go to flight level then say nothing , or im not at the right flight level.any clues folks...............Robert

Hey guys,I have RC 4 for FSX. In the settings I have it ticked to interact with AI. It does this to a certain extent. However there are some problems. When I push back from the gate, if an AI plane is taxiing on the taxiway which I have just been pushed back on, it doesn't stop, it just taxi's right through me. Is there a way to fix this?Also when I am being cleared for final I get close to the runway and notice sometimes ATC has cleared an aircraft to line up and wait, thus I have to go around (by my own accord ATC doesn't even tell me to go around!)IS there anyway I can fix these issues as this addon was a lot of money and it just doesn't seem that good at all.Kind Rega…

Packages such as WoAI work fine, but with Ultimate Traffic II, RC doesn't recognise them and they just do as they please. Any ideas?Thanks, Luke.

It seems like every time an issue gets resolved, a new problems rises. This should never happen to a program that i spent nearly 50 dollars on, this is extremely disappointing. Whenever I press 1 or 2 the atc never talks,(and yes I do have the dialogue thing open). I tried everything that can be done. I am running Windows 7 and Fsx, i also followed everything o the manual.
