How to make RC4 talk to new AI aircraft?

Featured Replies

I'm about to add Great Lakes Airlines AI aircraft with flight plans to FS9. How can I get RC4 to recognize the new AI aircraft? Is this automatic or do I need to add anything to the aircraft.cfg file of the AI aircraft? This is something I haven't done before so I wanted to ask before doing it.Also, I believe Great Lakes Airlines is under the name Northern Freight or something similar in RC4, correct?Todd

Todd Harrell

GREAT LAKES,GREAT LAKES,Northaire Freight Lines Ltd - USAThis is the radio call (and company) entered in RC's data. The company you can choose for your own aircraft in the general tab of RC.In the aircraft config proper flightsim section for the paint (make a safe copy first):atc_airline=GREAT LAKESThe ICAO code list shows: NFL Northaire Feight Lines GREAT LAKES United States (their spelling error) so for the parking code it would be NFLatc_parking_codes=NFLatc_parking_types=CARGOThis information is what FSUIPC in part will return to RC during flight.Make sure all [flightsim.n] sections are coded as needed.
