Why does RC keep shouting at me for missing a crossing restriction. Im flying the star as the chart says.any help appreciated.Alan

Hi all.OK, this is not a moan. Just a query.Am I expecting too much? I'm a UK citizen so I have been flying up and down my own back yard getting used to the feel of RC4 and loving the program to bits! However, my last couple of flights have been to Frankfurt Main in Germany and Paris from the UK .When flying up and down in the UK, there is almost continuous ATC pre-recorded chatter. When leaving the UK for Europe (Frankfurt & Paris in this case), the chatter stopped completely. Even inside Germany & Paris en route to the airports there was no chatter whatsoever. I was expecting to hear Real pre-recorded ATC chatter directing traffic in and around Germany and Paris…

evening everyone,Up until the release of Fs-X there was a site that sold a DVD with about 4 Gb (If I remember it correctly) of prerecorded chatterfiles that could be used in ATC-programs like Radar Contact.For some obscure reason, I never got round to oredering that DVD. When I last (several months ago) looked, the DVD was not for sale anymore and now I don't even know what site it was (after a reformat, I lost most of my favourite links).Question...Is there anybody who can remember about which site I am talking (long shot I know) and, even more important, is there anybody who knows where I could lay my hands on that particulat dvd...?All tips and hints are appreciated.Yo…

I have been using the default fsx flight planning for Radar Contact. It works okay but Is there something better out there that will work with RC?

HiFirst off I say what an excellent program radar contact is. Dont know how I managed to put up with the default fsx atc for so longBut for some reason it takes to attempts to load rc into fsx. the first time I load rc in I get the red box with all the options but they do not respond to any keyboard commandsI am then forced to end the flight and shut down and reboot rc then reload the same flight plan and start fsx again..... after this everthing works fine.It hasnt bothered me in the past but now I see it is causes conflcts with some of my aircraft addons(mainly the ones that use load mangers to load the aircraft they dont like being loaded into fsx twice)Any suggestions…

Hi,I just reloaded Radar Contact Version 4 after upgrading my computer to a Wim 7 machine. When I go to load a FSX flight plan into RC the program brings up the CorelDraw Suite 12 installer program. I looked and CorelDraw doesn't have any of the Radar Contact files extensions (.pln or .rc4) assigned to it. I can only guess that there is a conflict with Corel Draw's installer's name. Any thoughts on how to rectify this conflict would be appreciated.Regards,Jim :-)

HiI Purchased this about a year ago, just did a reinstall but keep getting messageThis version of radar contact is unregistered.I found the original email I was sent withYour Radar Contact Version 4 key is etc etcTyped the key in to the "when you recive your key box" and then selected "click here after etc"After a little while the registration box dissapears then reload radar contact and it appears again.ThanksAlso tried putting the order number in but no luck, also the order number in the email is different to the order number that comes up in the box

I'm unable to locate this in RC4 airline menu. Is there a different name? Can airlines be added? If not, I'd like to request Shuttle America be added to RC5 (Callsign 'Mercury'). Thanks for your hard work and great program!Todd

I took the plunge and purchased the PMDG 737. I am going to download the trial copy of FS Commander and of course I use RC4. My question, which probably has been covered before, is compatibility of these three products. I know that the RC co-pilot will not fly the PMDG but may handle the radios but the bigger thought in my mind is how RC4 will handle the plans created by FSC. I will enter the plans into the FMC and it looks like the autopilot is quite good following this plan, will RC also reflect the same altitudes and approach points etc. or will I be getting different turn information that may conflict with the FMC. I know that RC doesn't read the FMC but if I have the…

In tutorial 2 (KBNA-KMEM) ATC issues an instruction that I understand to say"Climb to FL190 at or above 15 thousand"(I'm at about 14000 at the time). This doesn't make sense to me. I've run the tutorial several times and listened hard...everytime, this is what I am hearing him say. What does this mean?Thanks

I have over several months used Radar Contact with FSX on my main machine.I am now trying to run RC4 for FSX and FS9 on a networked machine with WideFS.I have all my sharing folders sorted and RC4 installed o.k. but it will not accept my registration code.I have removed RC4 from my FS machine was this correct ? and do i need a new code to register on the networked pc.ThanksSteve

I have noticed that AI aircrafts up to 15-20 nm in front on me on final are being send away in different directions when ever I switch freq over to tower. This happens even if the AI aircraft have landed and already turned of the runway and on to the taxiway.I am using UT2 and have downloaded the latest makerwys.exe.Is there any solution to this problem?Thank you.

After not flying for a while I cannot remember if RC4 will take you to a specific gate. So far I am being told to park on the ramp. What have I forgotten..

Crazy question... RC4 doesn't care if the aircraft is third party right? I am going to purchase some PMDG products and wanted to make sure.Thanks

I've had this a few times now on various flights and think its time to mention it.An example; I'm on my way to Madrid flying at the correct height and as instructed on my own navigation. At each waypoint I've received the little bleep. Yet even though I'm still dead on the line flying the correct heading when a controller comes on and tells me I'm off course and to travel a heading in the opposite direction I want to go.So, I opt to a 'go direct' to a waypoint on my route and get permission. I am still dead on the line and heading for my 'go direct' when a minute or two later on comes the ATC controller telling me again I'm off course and to change my heading to the o…

Guys,In RC5, will we be able to select an IAP Approach when initially setting up RC, ie, when selecting the flight plan? The reason I ask is, at the moment when wanting to select IAP this can only be done after contacting Approach who tell you which runway is in use but by the time you manage to select IAP Approach, the controller is usually badgering you to either turn to his assigned heading or to descend to his new altitude. It would be easier to be able to select it at the beginning for those of us who know we want to fly a full instrument approach.Regards,Rory

Hi I'm finally fully moving from FS9 to FSX and I need a little help moving RC4 over. I have RC4 on a network machine, can I just use this same install and somehow update the path to my new PC and to the FSX installation on the new PC? I have wideFS and FSUIPC installed on the new PC. Or do I have to do a reinstall? Thnx for the help!!Richard

I don,t use this program although I have owned it for se real years. From time to time I still see questions about RC 5. Is this thing really being worked on. I don,t know if this is produced by a actual company or just a group of guys on their on. Would love to se some status info from a developer or someone with a clue. I do a lot of vfr fighting and had hped they would be the answer to better atc for us also. I would surly understand with flight in the wings they may be dragging their feet but as good as RC 4 is, I find it really strange that we can,t seem to find out much about them? Anyone with a clue??..thanks

Dear all,I am a new user of RC4.3. Made a trial flight with standard Airbus A321 of FSX and all worked fine, RC4.3 is a very good add-on.Now, I try to use it with my favourite FS2crew + PMDG 747.At the gate, after launching PMDG747 + FS2crew, I launch RC4.3. Good start. I can get the ATIS without issue, and also the clearance from delivery. But, then, after starting to taxi, RC4.3 starts to bug (apparently), no response to any keyboard inputs, and no voice at all. Sometimes, the RC4.3 box disappears and then comes back again after a while. Intermitent display of "standby".Hope I could solve this, the combination of FS2crew + PMDG747 + RC4.3 would be so great !Any idea fro…
