Like the title suggests, are they compatible? I have heard of many people using the PSS Concorde, but I use the SSTSIM version (much better IMO even though it has less systems) and I wonder if they're compatible. I'm aware that I must file for about FL280 untill about 50 - 70 miles out from land, from there I can climb as needed and go up to Mach 2. What I wonder is if RC will constantly tell me "What is your altitude? Your assigned altitude is FL550" or something because of how slow Concorde climbs due to changing weather and winds around FL450 to FL600 and sometimes even descends some

Goodday, Just installed a brand new Aerosoft/EHAM and planned a flight by FSCommander. The plan is saved in the RC 4.3 directory. By opening the plan in RC 4.3 the departure airport (EHAM) is not recognised by RC 4.3. ( Only the destination airport) I have seen that my older saved flight has the same problem. Also flights to EHAM. When I open RC 4.3 my FS2004 is going to mess up, and I'm somwhere on the globe in the air but not where I suppose to be. Is here somebody who has or had the same problem, and can give someboday a solution in the right way for me?? (BTW I have made a rebuild of the database - (twice) thanks in advance

Hi, I realize that RC5 will possibly either be taking longer or may not even happen. Keep in mind I'm not complaining. However I have a suggestion. How about RC 4.5 with updated phraseology and an updated airline list? I see this as a possible happy medium. Ed Kammerman

JD, Had to reinstall the OS and FSX on my Win 7-64 PC. I was running RCV4 from my laptop via simconnect successfully prior my primary PC's issue. Now as soon as I try to exit from the Controller Info screen I get the "run-time error 75 Path/File access error" message. I'm not running any AV programs on either computer and I'm reasonably sure that I've got my Shares, and Simconnect and WideFS set up correctly. Fs Flightkeeper is connecting normally via WideFS, and AS 2012 via simconnect. Pressing the .FLT/WX Path button in the RCV4 interface allows me to set the path to my Flight Simulator X files folder. I'm able to "browse" from there to my PC's Fli…

I now am happy to say I am a Radar Contact customer, but I have a question. Is RC compatible with ###ai Traffic? I love ### AI, fantastic models and many hundreds of airlines, with real flightplans, at minimal FPS cost, and its freeware. But will RC correctly recognize it?

Hi,I have rcently installed the new VTBS scenery and although it is recognised by FS9 and FSNavigator RCV4 won't include it in the data base and treats it as an uncontrolled airport. I have rebuilt the data base several times but without result. Can you help?

I haven't received an e-mail from you since Friday, so I thought I'd go here. I tried the method you have posted here, but since the file I'm missing is required to make the thing work, it didn't work. I also tried moving the MSSTDFMT.DLL file I have from the old computer into the SysWOW 64 file, but alas it won't recognize it there. I'm still unable to load a Flight Plan into RC, so I can't use it until this is fixed. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks, Bill Cox

Hi, Guys. Great Product. On my last flight I thought I would add some realism and tune the radios myself. However, when told to change frequencies I could never get it done fast enough to keep from being chastised, even thought I thought I was acting with more than sufficient alacrity. The flight critique at the end even chewed me out for "not listening." So, is there any way to modify the settings to give me more time to tune my radios? Thanks, amorris

HELLO!!! I can't fly stars with radar contact. The approach contact (and rwy assignment) is too late (after star's first point). For example the arrivals to Málaga (LEMG) is runway specific. The first point of the star (if for example you are flying from Madrid, LEMD) is VULPE that is 69 NM from LEMG. There isn't common nearest points in the two posibles VULPE stars (rwy 31 and rwy 13). In the real life, the pilots contact with approach controller (118.45) in the begining of the star (before VULPE) and the controller give information to the pilots about the rwy in use. But we suppose that i know the rwy in use. While i am flying the star procedure (remember I …

Hello, I'd need to redownload the setup for RC4. But I have a problem: I got the addon from stepfather who sadly died already as a birthday gift some time ago. As I've lost my setup and can't go to the order mail as his mail address is deleted already I can't download the programm and so I'd need a new download link. I can give you my order information on PM to proof that I have a legal order of the programm. Thank you for your answer in advance Regards Emi

I've two problems with RC4. 1)-When I'm approacing an airport for landing, the program always tells me to change the route, and gives a new heading. I have to ignore this and wait until RC recognizes the Star of my flightplan and gives me the correct vectors 2)-Rc doesn't let me to reach the correct altitude, because forces me to mantain an high altitude, so when I receive the vectors, the aircraft is too high and I have to follow an holding pattern to lose altitude. Any advice Thanks Matth

Hi gents I had to reinstall my WIDEFS laptop with RC4 yesterday, and so I manually copied my registration number to my main PC and emailed it to get my activation number. 12 hours later, still no reply. Is there a delay at headquarters, or did I stuff something up (again)? The email was sent from chris_shannon2 at skymesh dot com dot au. I'm all impatient to hear Steve's dulcet tones yelling at me! Cheers, SLuggy

Following the demise of my laptop RC, ASE and FScommander now run from the main pc. This has had disastrous results in performance and I guess I will have to tone down some sliders, but right now the real problem is with RC. Regardless of the key combination (and clearing any conflicts with FS9 or aircraft) I cannot hand over the Comms. I have tried the default settings and a number of others including a single letter to make it simple (I had previously had it tagged to the + key on the numberpad) but get no response. The other thing is that now RC is REALLY LOUD compared to all my other levels: is there any way to alter this? Thanks Nicholas

Hi Quite some time ago I've asked in this very forum how to edit the radio frequencies at a specific airport permanently. I was told to backup the file f4.csv and then to make my changes usingf a specific format. Well, after reinstalling RC i tried to do it again, after rebuilding the database, and RC gives me the following error: Run-time error '62' RadarContact.rcv4module.get_arrival_information and then it crashes. It happens only when i select a flightplan including that particular airport. i have FSUIPC version 4.70 and Makerwys 4.60. I use FSX What can I do?

This is in response to both presales and current users in regards to RC seeing AI aircraft. You do not need RC for this test. Users that do not have RC or other application that uses FSUIPC should install the correct FS version downloaded from the following link (registration not required): http://forum.simflig...pdated-modules/ Then install this free utility Traffic Look (.exe) from this page: http://forum.simflig...ional-programs/ and set up a shortcut to TrafficLook.exe. No fees or the presence of RC is required for this test. After installing FSUIPC and Traffic Look start up your version of FS and load a parked flight at a busy airport at a…

I have this flight plan, from Cleveland (KCLE) to Pittsburgh (KPIT). The full plan is this: KPIT ACO DEFOE ZUTIV CUTTA KPIT I fly the PMDG 737NGX, and turn radio control over to the copilot. RC and the FMC in the 737 show the same exact route. All goes well until I approach ZUTIV. RC instructs us to contact approach control on 124.15. I look and see that the radio has been set to this frequency. BUT then there is no more communication from RC, it just stops. I have learned that IF I take radio control back from the copilot, I see a line item in RC that shows I can contact CENTER on 134.90. They do come back to me again but soon tell me to contact approac…

I have been doing flights alot lately between LAS and LAX. Sometimes approach will give me 25L to land and I start to get all set up for that and then a few min. later it wants me to land 24R. Traffic is already landing on both so why would it change? I like for RC to assign the landing RWY but hate it when it cant make up its mind, especially in situations like at LAX where there are parallel runways in my example 25L or 24R.

I just muddled through my first Radar Contact flight. I had several problems, but the first was trying to adjust my sound levels. I'm flying the PMDG 737/900NGX. Finally got the voice volume turned up so I could hear it, but had difficulty in understanding it. I saw where they had text for hard of hearing and checked the block. There was limited text, but nothing for items such as altimeter settings. The worst was trying to understand the transponder codes. I didn't get a "Radar Contact" until I was at my first waypoint. I guess checking the IFR training block saved me from my flight being cancelled. Is there something more to do to have more text displayed? Th…

Hi!!! I just started to use Radar Contact and I have a couple of questions: 1) When I'm at the airport and want to listen to the ATIS, I hear the default ATIS with the line of information in screen and it is heard above the RC. Also at the airport when I tune GROUND I hear the default ATC too and the RC Ground. Is it normal? 2) I had read that depending on where you fly, you hear recordings with the language of the country. I have flown in Spain but I have heard no voice in Spanish. Should I? Thank you!
