Hi :I just read on the new web page, that V3 will be a brand new versionfrom V2. That is ok now I just want to know, if I need to remove V2.What I mean is any wave files that I have downloaded previously.Exp: chatting files for certain areas ect.... or V3 will have enough of these files to work with.

Hey guys, I was wondering how long it might take to get a registration number for my RC v2.2 since v3 is on its way out. I havent installed Radar Contact in quite a while, and I want to get familiar with it before I get v3. Thanks alot.CraigP.S. I have another piece of software which requires emailing the author each time you want to reinstall, and I hope you guys dont disappear like they did and never return my emails for a registration number to unlock a product I paid for!

a software product should be documented!!! The MANUAL is a total work of art and should be a model all future developers. This ranks up there with the top 5 manuals I have seen for any addon product.

Maybe in a next version,you could include oceanic crossing clearances with Shanwick and Gander??This just got to my mindbest regards,Sebastian

Hi allJust seen the new site and it says that existing users can get an upgrade. Is it necessary to have v2.2 installed for this upgrade to work or should we un-install v2.2 prior to installing v3.0?The reason I ask is that since buying the new PC and FS2002 I haven't installed v2.2 as I have been waiting for v3 to be releasedThanks in advance and apologies if this has already been answered elsewhereJohn

Had never tried it before and of course not RTFM, so when i had received the weather report and the freq., i chose that freq. when still on the ground. ******* - how i got lectured for not keeping my assigned altitude... LOL Now it wasn't neither a helicopter nor an UFO, so i couldn't get up that quick.Then when i finally was airborne i turned the plane towards the first waypoint, activated the autopilot and handed it over to Jamie, as i wanted to enjoy the view. hi,just a quick question with a VFR flight,will RCV3 have the ability to vector me to a field if i instruct to do so,for example say i take of from lax and fly around abit in my cessna and then i want to land at the nearest field, say santa barbara will atc give me vectors to the active at that field?thx

Does RCV3 interact with AI or does FS2K2 still look after it? If its FS2K2 can we still hear it, and would it be on the same freq. as the RCV3 coms. Also does RCV3 have the capability to hold short, do go arounds, and all the other stuff to AI aircraft? Or, do we have to be on the lookout for it and be dodging it all the time?EDIT-Sorry about that. I see the answer to the coms question on another thread. While reading the manual it stated that at some point during the install you will send by e-mail a request of a key???Why would I need to do that when I will have the CD version?????Now after having to wait until December just to order RC-3.I might not get it until after Christmas....I then have to wait another possible 24 hours to use it????Now I understand why you might let current users get the new version first, But why have to wait two weeks before us new users can order.Then after receiving RC-3 we have to wait more....I am kind of upset that after reading in this forum which said you should wait until RC-3 because of the learning curve with both versions and that R…

ok, you said that it will warn you when an ai plane gets to close, but does it fix the ai traffic from overrunning you? and is it correct to say that i don't here ai traffic talking to atc? or ??thanksvery interested in this product but a little skepticalciao!Brian S

I know RC doesn't interact with AI,but that it will give TA's,but I was wondering if RC will also say the type of traffic e.g. a heavy 747.is this also true on the ground,or will the RC controller just say "taxi to and hold short of runwayx without saying anything again except for switching to the tower?will the tower on landing say you're numberx behind ...?also,is ATIS modelled (I suppose not)I'm certain I'm gonna buy it,but I still had some questions :)thx in advance

Hi allIs it just me or are some even number pages missing? I printed off the entire set of odd pages yesterday and today set the printer up to do the even pages. Took the dog out for a walk, came back and DISASTER!!! Pages 2,8, 14 and 20 don't seem to exist so it's thrown the whole thing out of sync, I've got page 6 on the back of page 3, page 5 is followed by page 10 etc etc. (Not only that but I'm in big trouble with the missus cos I've used all the ink!!)Oh well, it's a wonderful manual for all that, I'll just have to put up with a bit of extra page turning (I'm too much of a coward to suggest printing it again!)all the bestJohn

Hi AllUnsure whether I am not preforming the proper proceedure for opening up word pad in order to read the manual but everytime I try I get an error message indicating I preformed an illegal proceedure.Is anyone else having the same problem.Tks. for any replyKenny G.

After checking out the RC3 web page I am looking forward to a new ATC system over the MSFS2002 default ATC. I use MSFS2002 to keep my real life instrument skills from going stale when I am not getting any actual instrument time. Most of the time I create a flight plan and fly it as filed including the full approach without using the ATC feature in 2002. A realistic ATC system will be a fantastic add on to a great pc-simulator. After reading the info on the web page I have a few questions...1. What flight planning software will best work with RC3?
