Good evening; I tried to download the manual tonight and was only able to get 3% of it. Each susequent attempt gained me an alert message that stated that I was refused connection. I'm using Netscape 7.0 and DAP 5.3 . Is it me or is it the large volume on your site :-) Cheers!

Will the co-pilot funtion work with non-default auto-pilots like DF737 and the PSS products?

What a marvelous manual !!!Thanks to John Burgess I also have now all my expectations confirmed about running RCv3 on a second machine.:-walksmileOne thing not clear...There is a checkbox for "WideFS or VR" in the "Plane Information and Options" screen that I did not see described in the manual. Do I have to check that one if I run on a second machine ?

I printed (in the office - of course) and read EVERY page of the manual (in the office - of course) which itself is a great Job!! As a completely newbie on RC, I have to say that I am impressed.... There'sj a response to every question, including the silly ones, I think that the known RTFM (Read the F%$#@ Manual) really applies here.If that piece of software does half the tricks the manual says... then it is a "must have" !!!!$44... mmmmmmm.... I have to start saving....no, wait it's christmas!!! Yeeeehaaaah!!!GR.

Hey guys,Will RC3 be available even if you do not file a flight plan, or will the FS2002 atc take over then?Say you wanna do flight around the circuit, or a VFR flight rather than IFR. Anyway I guess my question is will RC3 always be the ATC after its installed, or only after you file a flight plan? Or,....will it only operate if it started before FS2002!!?Help me here I am a complete :-newbie when it comes to this stuff, but I am learning, and quickly too!!!Thanks for your help!!Laterhttp://www.forefrontgrp.com/jayssig.jpg"There is an art . . . to flying. Hi All,I've been trying out the samples and will definitely purchase v3 when it comes out. My question concerns taxiing to your assigned departure runway. In the big airports, how the heck do you even FIND your runway? The default FS 2002 airports don't have taxiway signs. If you're starting from the gate at a big airport like O'Hare or Atlanta, it's a bit confusing finding your way. One of the things I really like about Flight Unlimited 2 and 3 is you'll get instructions like "United839 heavy, taxi to runway 8 right via Charlie, Echo, Lima. Hold short runway 8 left". And there are taxiway signs. But FS2002 has nothing similar that I've found.Thoughts?BTW, does RC see wher…

Hello Group, Well, by setting all the waypoints in the MADWIN THREE ARRIVAL STAR to Oakland Int manually I am now able to land the aircraft safely on R29. If I just used the standard RCATC guidance they would have me crash into a mountain near the end of the STAR just prior to intercepting the ILS to R29. Thus my two questions:(1) Can I assume that if I set FSNav so that the complete STAR is adjusted for manual conditions can I assume tha RCATC will allow me to fly THAT STAR from the first waypoint set manually and not receive a lecture from them?(2) If that be true then I wonder why RCATC would not allow me to descend to 5000' after passing the VOR ECA, as per S…

I remember reading earlier that RC3 was not going to support VFR with this first release. But on the "getting started" page of the new website (which looks great, by the way!) a few VFR-type options are mentioned, including "Uses UNICOM to broadcast intentions..." and "ability to set VFR Squawk Code..." So does this mean RC3 does have limited support for VFR flights, or do these options merely mean that RC controllers (like MS controllers) will "downgrade" your flight to this "simplified" VFR status if you don't comply satisfactorily?Just curious. - Caphollandhttp://flightsimmers.net/va/caphollands

What a great supprise to wake up this morning and see that RC V3 is coming soon. A while back some work was being done on a "Run-time" version of RC V3 that would not be able to read flight plans, but still be able to run the voice/wav files so the pilots of VA's can fly flight plans developed by others, but not own RC, just have the "Fleetwood" files like in V2.2. Did this ever happen or will all users of V3 be required to have the full version of RC? I understand that the voice files for V3 are much larger than V2x (76 Meg) and that a CD would be required. Is this still true?Steve ParkPresident Livewire AirlinesFlight Director Livewire AirlinesFlight DeveloperWWW.Fl…

Hello group, I have a question. It pertains to using RCATC, or any FS related ATC program, in situations such as I encountered in a RCATC guided flight from SVMI to SEQU in So. America. There was no way I could follow RCATC's instructions for an approach to R35 at SEQU. R35 has a full ILS system so that is why I chose that particular runway. If you follow RCATC they will simply plow you into a mountain. Ok, that's the question that begs some type of an answer. I want to be able to disregard RCATC's commands until I am established on the glideslope which I will do manually. My question is how do you set up the RC adventure so that the pilot can disregard R…

I just downloaded the sample program and flew a flight.1) If you are in the middle of a flight and FS2002 crashes (a rare occurance I know :-roll ), When I restore to my auto save file, will the adventure still continue, or do I have to start all over?2) I noticed that the instant replay was not selectable while running the adventure. Is this normal? Thanks. :)

Hello, I have a question relating to the CoPilot handling of a Back Course approach to a runway. The flight was from Miami, KMIA, to Simon Bolivar Int, SVMI, leaving Miami at 5:30 PM. The arrival at SVMI was close to the target time of 8:35 PM. It indeed was dark when we approached SVMI. Now my question. ATC directed the CoPilot to R27 and she complied with ATC in that the downwind leg was to the North of the airport. North was great because it was over the ocean. The CoPilot was then directed to turn to intercept R27. All was going fine until she intercepted the Localizer. As R27 at SVMI is a Back-Course Localizer, no GS, I was curious if the aircra…
