Hi all, I just purchased RCv3 as based on everything I have read it looks to be THE add-on product to buy to really make fs2002 as real as it gets and i look forward to hours of flight simming. i do have one question regarding what countries ATC sytem it supports. does it only support flights within USA or does it cover Canada, Europe,etc.?

Will I hear all the Radar Contact controllers giving me instructions like I do now with MSFS's ATC, OR, will all instructions in RC be given in text form?Thanks,Michael

Hi,I wont read the manual till I`ve recieved my copy of RC3 which will probably take about 3 weeks,if I read the manual now I wont be able to sleep till my copy arrives and I will more than likely kill my postman.So till my cd arrives I`ll have to stop reading this Forum as well because my nerves cant stand the wait.I`ve bitten my nails down to the quick just reading the threads of the lucky one who live in the States,here in Germany we have to wait till Customs deceied when we`re allowed to get our overseas post :-(Happy Flying to all RC3 owners.sanity3d (a nervous wreck)ps to jd do we get a mail when our cd is sent ??

Ok-I haven't used Rc in several years-just got it going. I tried making a short flight from kfnt tokdet-ifr. Things went great except for about a 1 sec pause--between--each---word----number---. I also seem to be getting fs's default atc in the background-took care of that by de tuning the radios manually. Set my copilot up to do the comm work-all went fine except for the pause between every sound which took a while to even just read back the clearance. Got all the way to taxi to my runway and hold short...then nothing happened... I did get the funny text box shown in the shot-hitting "0" caused it to say standby-then it re appeared.I tried doing a longer flight-from kfnt …

im a little confused here , am i to believe that RC3 does not see other planes in 2k2, so if im ready to take off and another plane goes right thru me and takes off, and that is suppose to be as real as it gets.twice now i was coming in for a landing and there was a plane right on the runway, what do you do in real life besides crash.to me this is very important part of the sim, to taxi to the runway and wait your turn, but i feel like im out there all alone.i was told that this is a problem and it cannot be fixed, if that is true then no disrepect but what is the point of radar control.then again i could be way off base and i dont know what the heck im talking about.i ju…

If an airline's call sign wasn't included is there a possibility we can eventually get it included? I didn't see Ghana Airways, Keyna Airways or Nigeria Airways on the call sign list. It would be great if we could get those included at some point. Thanks!!

Hi, While installing V3 I gave some thought to the 40 mile altitude and speed restriction stated by ATC. Here is my question: I am assuming that the 40-mile distance from ATC's FIX 'X' is determined by the shortest distance between your aircrafts present position and that point 'X' rather than 40 miles of actual filed flight distance. Is that correct? If it is then that could be a factor in determining point of descent, for me at least. I hope I worded my question clearly.Regards

Thanks-I only had about an hour to try it out but I put it through enough paces to know that this is a really great program. I even tried an emergency (of which I have had too many in real life) and it was really cool to have all the choices and options one has in real life in an easy to use menu fashion. After declaring an engine out and getting a vector to the nearest airport-I even asked later for a full ils approach (lol) and was granted it with immediate vectors!Anyway thanks for a great one-I am enjoying this one greatly! Hey Guys!Before I start, I know the program will be AWESOME!One small problem...I click on the "register" button and the program stops responding.Turned off the firewall, disabled the anti virus program, no help.Started FS2002, then started RC V.3 and clicked the register button... I received the cd today and after installing received my registration key in a very short time.Problem: Copy and pasted reg# in proper place carefully and then clicked on register. The register "button" button clicks and then nothing happens. Closed rcv3, reopened and my number is not there, re-pasted it and same thing. What am I doing wrong guys? Don

1. is the interface easy to use? or does it take two hands and multiple fingers to select the options/menus, etc - if i recall from earlier version you had to do ctrl+shift+whatever - how can i do that and try to fly a big huge jet at the same time if im messing with this kinda fiddly stuff?2. does it fix the ai traffic from over running you? - i had asked a previous question about ai and the response was it will tell me when there to close thats it? - a little more detail would be greatthanksciao!Brian S

The AdvDisp window must be docked in order to accept key commands? It didn't seem like it was responding when I ran it as a window on another monitor. Is this the case?How do you adjust the audio volume? I just ordered it and hope I have enough HDD space :-lol I have a teeny tiny 20 GiG Western Digital. Oh well, I'm sure it ain't that big since it comes on a cd.
