    I have a GF-P8 module (which is conveniently located just below my comm1 GF166A radio module) programmed to send the keyboard responses (menu choices) back to ATC. Works fine with the FSATC popup window but does not seem to work for the menu choices for RC3. Anyone else tried using GoFlight modules for reponding to RC3?rob gordon

    I have a ton of PAI AI traffic and with the default FS2k2 ATC there is of course a bunch of traffic calls. I just completed my initial RCv3 flight and while I heard the ground traffic at my departure airport and a little bit of Departure calls after a few minutes I only heard the RCv3 traffic calls. When I got to my arrival airport I still only heard RCv3 traffic calls.While the RCv3 calls are nice I really want to hear the AI calls too.Any suggestion?Thanks

    I've just completed my first flight with RC3 and I'm very impressed..... you did a great job guys. :-beerchugI have two questions, one relating to RC and the other not but hopefully someone may be able to help. ;)1.     Yes, I'm one of the lepers who tried to run RC3 on an old Win98 machine with a Soundblaster SBPCI128 card. As a stamped-on-the-forehead-with-the-number-of-The-Beast Non-techie, I was doomed from the start.All I can say is, BOY, do I miss Pro Pilot 98/2000.Despite some some polite - but perfunctory - help from the good folks who built RC3, I can only use it if I hit Q and silence the rest of FS2002.One guy, who was really trying to help and I'm not picking on, suggested I download the very latest driver for my sound card.     First off I like to say that I just love this program, it's one big improvement over FS2k2 ATC. My only complaint is controller slow speak, but I can live with it. One of the reason for me to buy this program is that I'm a mutiplayer junkie and like having ATC when flying with other pilots. Question is what should I expect out of RC v3 in terms of it recognizing the other player's planes and what should be the setting at to get the most out of the program in this format.     First I would like to thank Bruce for his easy to understand seminar on how to change the priority for the sound in RCV3.I see there is mention of changing to Real-Time priority from High priority by changing the batch file from pg to pr.Unsure which priority to use, although I have found a 100% improvement in the speech and speed of the sound since I have implemented Bruce's suggestion.Since the change the only hicup I have found is the simulator will sometime pause just prior to chatter from either the pilot or ATC.I guess what I am asking what should you look for in making the decision to change the priority.Have a very enjoyable Holiday Season.Kenny G.

    Scott,I've been trying to change my controllers to all US as we only fly in the states currently. Problem I'm having is this. First, please let me quote you from a prior thread:"Rules:Controllers begin at 2 and go to 50 sequentially.Pilots begin at 98 and descend to 60 sequentially."Ok, heres my problem. In my Winwood directory, my folders start at:0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10, then91,92,93,94,95,96,97,98,99,102,103,104 and so on.In other words, there is no 11-90 folders,and there is no 100-101 foldersnor is there the folders you mention 2-50 for controllers with the exception of the ones I named above.What am I missing here?     In a few days I plan on taking a fully loaded 744 Freighter from San Diego to Manchester in the UK. My cruisin altitude will be FL410 but I can't go that high until later in the flight, do I set NOTAMS at KSAN, or should I pick my initial altitude and then just continue to request higher, or is there another way to do this? Thanks!

    Flight from KLIT to KBNA I give Otto the plane and comms shortly after takeoff. 49 miles from KBNA Otto leaves frequency to get weather. Landing and departing runway 31. The ADV display box now shows runway 31 and the frequency 111.30. The actual fequency should be 111.95.40 miles from KBNA Otto contacts approach and is told to expect vectors for runway 31. Otto sets the nav 1 radio to 111.30. At this point I take the commms back and try changing the frequency to 111.95. The 111.95 will show up as stand-by but when I switch it to active it comes up in the active box for a few seconds and then both active and standy-by frequencies change back to 111.30.     I have been keeping an eye on the RC and FDC forums to see if there will be a resolution to the software conflict. One of the comments that I noted in both forums is that neither Dave or JD have a copy of each others product (?) I am thinking of getting FDC, however I am nervous now because of the conflict it might have with RC.My suggestion would be that Dave and JD send each other their products, so they can resolve any issues and help a poor soul like me, who are afraid to use the products together.Just a suggestion,Paul

    As the manual says (p. 10), RC.3 gives pressure readings in QNH except in the U.S.A. In Canada ATC gives altimeter readings. Could any modification be made that would give altimeter readings instead of QNH for Canada?

    Has anyone successfully added a second radio to this aircraft? I tried following the direction in the RCv3 manual but I am having problems. I am using the PSS panel with the POSKY V3 747. The aircraft config already has the "Com.2=1, 1" so I made no changes there. I added the "Window06=comm2 and audio" to the titles section inthe Rolls Royce panel config. I then added the [Window06] and other info to after the last window definition and before [Default view] When I go into the cockpit and I select the overhead panel button, I get a black screen, when I go to the menu and select instrument panel I do see a "comm2 and audio" section, but when I click on it I get a blank …

    Bruce i downloaded the program PrcView and was installing,everything was going ok until I got to Launch Radar contact properties. I changed Target to read "C:program filesrcv30Start RCV3.bat Start In Typed in "CProgram Filesrcv30" Clicked on OK I got the following. The folder CProgram Filesrcv30 specified in the start box is not valid make sure the folder exists and that the path is correct.     - or manybe not that strange for a real-time pilot, which i'm not. Now it's the second time, after takeoff and beyond FS200, that i'm sent back towards the airport during climb (and not because of a missed waypoint).The first time was after takeoff from KSFO, where the co-pilot was flying the plane, so i just noticed that the plane turned 180 degrees towards the airport.     When issued a go around, is it normal (considering that I've the option to reply myself) not to have the Acknowledge option in the menu? I've been told to go around a number of times and the only option I;ve in the menu is Missed Approach. The correct response should be to advise tower and begin the go around, not to declare a missed approach right? Why I can not Acknowledge the Tower request?
