HI JD,I am having a problem with the exe. file on the cd.I upgraded my hard drive and lost my RCv3 files. When I triedto reinstall from the cd I keep getting a message that statesthe exe. file not responding. I really miss this program. Is there any chance that you could send me a new cd?When I purchased RC my e-mail was [email protected]. My e-mail has been changed to [email protected]. Also, do you have a dateset for RCv4?This is a great program so keep up the good work.Skyhog

Hello I am a potential buyer of RC3. I am wondering if, when flying an IFR flight plan, ATC will say the following. (Without you cancelling the IFR flight plan by yourself)"IFR Flight Plan Cancelled - Radar Service Terminated"It is very annoying when they do this in FS2002. The whole point of ATC is to keep you safe, and in FS2002, they just leave you all alone. How do you adjust the volume level of the controllers. They are speaking very loud in comparison to the engine sounds, etc. I couldn't get the volume lower through any of the controls I saw in RC3.1 or FS9. Anyone know how to do this?Thanks,Kevin

Hi all,Is it better not to specify any departing runway in the controller info page, since I experienced last time a conflict at EGLL (had specified 27L) and even ATC followed the 27L clearance for me while I saw all the traffic in front of me!!!! (departing 9R!!!!)How can I avoid this?Thanks,

I purchased RC v3 on December the 24th and received the CD about a week or so later, however my 3 attempts at getting the reg code through the software from jdt llc have been unanswered. The last attempt was on friday or 4 days ago and still nothing. What is going on. Can anyone help get through to them?Thanks

Guys, just got this installed and up-to-speed.I have the manual open and things aren't matching. The manual starts off saying the screen will look like this: 62m/55*/112001 WxBrf on 127752 CLR by CD on 12520Main-0So that's what I thought I'd see but instead I got this:<1> 3m/260*/0 <2> 5m/305* 1- xBf 1330 2- LR by CD n 11Huh? I hit "1", got double talk so I went back and turn off MS ATC and now nothing is working. The same menu is there but no keys are doing anything.

I am an occational user of RC, but I have use it succesfully with fs2002 in the past. I recently upgraded to fs2004 and installed all the patch for RCv3. The first thing i noticed,(1) is when I boot up fs2004, rc does not boot up automatically like in fs2002( rc v 3 logo is not coming up). How can I make it to start up when I start up fs2004. (2) which file does fsNav saves it's flight plan when you click on save to fs2004. In fs2002 it use to be myflt.

you will not be able to let the rc co-pilot fly the plane. that is the only limitation i know of with rc, and that plane.jd

I used the software to get my reg code last week about Wednesday after I received the program and installed.I haven't received any email. I have email Customer Support (yesterday) and haven't heard anything, which is understandable since it is the weekend.I though maybe someone would see this post and be able to assist.Thanks,

I started my first flight and am not liking the results. I am flying KSAN-KPHX in the PMDG 737. I loaded my flight plan with FSBuild. My flight plan is KSAN-BRDR4.IPL-J2-MOHAL-ARLIN@-KPHX. I took off from rwy 9 and was cleared to proceed on course when able. I was able to in about 5 minutes since I was taking off on rwy 9. The ATC keeps telling me to fly heading 255, which is completely off course. I cant shut him up either! My other beek is that he is not reporting the weather that AS2004 is reporting. I got clear reports when I took off with an overcast. ANy suggestions? I am using FS9. Brad

I emailed the company to get my registration code today, but have not heard from them. Does it really take 1-2 days for them to do this? I ask because the CD said it would be shipped within 2-5 weeks and I got it in 3 days. Let me know so I dont keep checking my email.Brad Zimmer

Hello,I've just reinstalled RC, and am unable to download the patch files from the RC website, it keeps timing out. :-(I was wondering if someone would email the 11.zip, 12.zip and RCWavUpdateFULL.zip to me ?If not does anyone know a mirror for these files ?Regards,Adam. :)

After the latest build I have a strange issue. It takes about 10 hits to have the "1" key responding. No problem with any other key. I verified in other software, but only in RC key 1 doesn' respond properly. Could this be an assignment conflict?Sam

I have had RC for three days now. I think it is a great concept for starters, but there are a few things driving me crazy about it. I am hoping that it's something that I am doing wrong and can be fixed.Whenever I start off and ask for weather..I hear two voices RC and FS9's weather update...both at the same time. Also I hear ground commands by FS9 ATC and RC, this can very anoying and of course unrealstic.My thanks to the developers, hopefully they can fix this and make it even better!Richard

I change mi hd to a SATA 120 greinstalled everythingI asked for my new key and I have it nowbut.......rc3 do not registerI copy and paste the new key, press register and NADA!now what??any ideas??cheers and thank you for your help!!!

Took off runway 32L at ORD last night, my first checkpoint was due north of the airport, and they told me to cleared as filed (no runway heading, turn to heading, nothing).So after takeoff I turned due north to my first checkpoint, and it made me cross 32R departure path and almost hit a plane departing.Using UT also.SHould I not have been cleared to takeoff on 32R since my plan showed a first point north of Ohare?

Hi, I am becoming more and more annoyed everytime I use RC3.1 (2264) lately. I am a long time user and have not had any problems with RC until now with this build (2264). Everytime I do a flight using RC the program shutsdown on me 75% through the flight. I get no Adv Dispaly data (blank window) and RC3.1 (2264) stops resonding! I am using the latest versions of FSUIPC v3.1.3.5; Adv Display 2.1.2.3, no MS aircraft or panels, PSS dash 8 or other freeware addons, FSMeteo v6.2. How do I save a .dat file with the program letting me down all the time (stops responding)? Is it possible to revert back to a previous build? I don't want to but I sure can't rely on Build 2264 …

Impatiently awaiting my newly bought copy of Radar Contact. (Sorry, I'm just the impatient type )One thing in the manual that stands out to me as something I will miss is seeing an AI plane and hearing nothing about it. It'll just be there like a big ghost. If I read this correctly, I can change to the right frequency for where I am and still here MS talking to them but a) this is a hassle (is there no way to automate that?) and :( I suspect that would really clash with RC. I suspect both ATC's might want to talk at the same time especially in the busy areas I fly and that's ugly. Thus, are there plans down the line to essentially take over all RC for all aircraft in the …

I always seem to get vectored to about a 21/22 mile final but thats not realistic for here in the UK. In my real world flying its usually more like 8/10 nm. Can this be changed?

JD,I would like to handle the setting of the transition levels correctly and therefore without the "magic B key". I use PSS aircraft and get a flashing alt setting in the HSI depending on the level I set in the FMGS. Apparently this indicates the level from where anything above i.e. 18000ft standard setting (1013,4 or 29.92) remains. As Switzerland uses 6000ft instead of 18000ft I would have to use a different transition level. However, I still get QNH calls above 6000ft as RC probably doesn't support anything else than FS default settings (18000ft). In order to use RC correctly would I have set my transition level in the FMGS to 18000 regardless of what level i.e. Switze…

I remember reading....I need to have my first waypoint within 5 miles of the departure airport?Is this true?I've done this before, taken off, flew there, and proceeded onwards to the rest of my checkpoints, and I always get yelled at for being off course.

Hi,I just wondered whether it would be possible for RC to put approaching into holding patterns to improve spacing for final approach, and whether the rc could issue speed restrictions to AI?Then you wouldn't have what i saw today at Barcelona: 4 jets on final within a mile of each other. Needless to say, the first one landed and the other three all had Go-arounds. It was like a sky train!Thanks, Mark
