Hallo,I'm using RC for a few years now but never had this problem:When using RC the key "1" shows no reaction so I can't contact to thecontroller. In any other application the key works just fine.Someone's got an idea for this problem?Thank you, Acki

I know that there have been numerous comments on RC freezing at approach and I am experiencing the same problem.Could someone point me to a site where I can download a previous version of FSUIPC thought I would try changing the latest version to a previous version and see if that cures the problem.Tks. in advance for assistance.Kenny G.

I have been trying to fly the second tutorial flight, KBNA-KMEM.I've tried it with ActiveSky on in both "online mode" and "offline mode," and not turned on all. No difference. I flew the KDSM-KORD tutorial flight with no problems.Symptoms are: Transmissions from ATC are either missing or partially missing. Sometimes I can figure out what was said by the little bit I heard. Often times after being turned over to Departure, for example, the controller does not answer my call when I check in. Finally, the simulation goes into "Pause" and it is impossible to get out of pause. I get a message that RC is not responding, which seems obvious.I'm running RC3.1 in FS2002 Professona…

I'm trying to use the PIC A320 again in FS9. It's a good product if you have the PC power under the desk. And with some tweaks and tricks the A320 flys not to bad.But I have problems with the proper integration from RadarContact. Sometimes it is working, somtimes it's not. Has somebody found any trick to go around this problem. Would be very nice, then the MS ATC is ..... ok I think I dont't have to say any more.Best RegardsBruno in Switzerland

I am a newbie to RC (using 3.1) so maybe I am doing something wrong, but have observed something very strange on several flights. After establishing cruise altitude, on autopilot, I turn the airplane over to my copilot. He does just fine until a controller gives him an altimeter setting of 0001 (yes, I said zero, zero, zero, one!). Like a good copilot, he obediently adjusts to this setting and completely blows my assigned altitude before I can even regain control. Any ideas?

I just installed RC31 and did all update, I also have a registered copy of FSUIPC. After I load a Flight Plan and try to launch RC I get an error ( cannot link to FSUIPC or Wide Client ), hope you can help! regards, Glenn

After a long hyatus since using rc2, I have finally loaded rv3 and am going to try to fly one of the tutorials.In setting up the flight I have built and saved the route using FSNavigator and have exported it to FS2002. I think I have done this correctly.My problem comes when I go to the options key and try to set up my call sign for the tutorial flight. When I test it I get nothing.I think I have all the wave files.I have not proceeded beyond this point so I don't know if I have sound for the rest of the flight. I want to get this problem sorted out first.Any suggestions will be appreciated.Bob

Hi guys,I've been using RC for quite a while now and never had any problems with it. However, lately I've been experiencing strange lock-ups, mainly on final approach. RC simply stops responding and I have to kill it through Ctrl-Alt-Del/End TaskI run RC3.1 on a separate Win98 machine via WideFS. I have FS2002 installed there. My main computer is a WinXP with both, FS9 and FS2002 installed. I have all the latest files and registered FSUPIC & WideFS. A few months back I started using Showtext on my networked computer where RC runs and for a while all was well. Then, suddenly, RC would exhibit delays in ATC communication and usually everything stopped after a while. I h…

Dear jd,Is there anything that can be done to improve the way the current RC version deals with AI Traffic.My short BMI flight from Brussels to Heathrow only takes 45 mins, but I've just spent over an hour going around at Heathrow while AI traffic taxi out onto the runway in front of me.I've spent a lot of hard earned cash on a new XPS box so that I can run UT and AI at 100%, it seems a shame to turn it down just to get a landing slot :)RegardsMark

Would it be possible for Easyjet and Excel to be added to the callsign list for V4 if that is at all possible. I don't know if there will be new voices for V4 or any updates before, but if there is an oppourtunity for these two airlines, I would be grateful.Many thanks.-Phil

Hi,EDIT: Disregard, please. If I use .pln exported from FSNav, RC works flawlessly. If I resave within FS9, I get the error. Go figure... :)I opened a plan (EDDF-KBOS), marked Flexible DP, set up the alternate and so on, then, when I clicked "Start RCv3", I got this: Run-time error '9': Subscript out of range.I modified the plan a few times (built with FSNav, but re-saved in FS9), I re-installed VB6 and still I get the error. During the last 6 flights Radar contact has dropped out 4 times-just before I am handed off to tower for landing clearance or just before I am told to turn to intercept the glide slope.It happened twice at Den and once at DFW and once at CVG.Thanks for any advice anyone can offer.Richard

Hi,of course there are speedlimits in Europe but it is common practice to be cleared to an altitude below FL100 without speed limit (or a higher one then 250 knots).Recently a real life pilot in another forum stated "...most of the time we are allowed by ATC to maintain high speed...". Is there any way to suppress the repetition of ATIS messages in RC? I find it very annoying to hear the same ATIS message over and over again while performing the sometimes lengthy prestart checklists, as with the PMDG B737NG.Thanks,Sandy

Is there any way to change (lengthen) the time from when a controller issues an instruction and the pilot responds? I'm flying PMDG 737, but this has been true of many planes I fly with RC, and finding there is not enough time to, for instance, set both speed and heading in the MCP. What I have to do is a very fast partial change on both speed and heading in order to initiate at least part of each instruction, then go back and continue to change the settings to their final value.If I take the time (and mind you, I ain't no slouch about this; I'm scampering right along) to fully set each instrument one at a time, I hear from the grumpy controller about the other instrumen…

Hi, I seem to have lost some audio codecs - no idea how - and the main one is the Microsoft PCM Converter along with others which appear to be missing. Apparently u cannot reinstall the Microsoft PCM Converter - unless someone knows otherwise - WINXP has to install it. If I reinstall WINXP over my copy now will I need a new reg no. Denis
