Even though I have selected a realistic altitude,I usually am given FL 600. Can someone offer suggestions to prevent this. Thanks for any help.Frank Bevard

There really has to be something about the Bonham STAR into DFW that Radar Contact cannot handle properly. I flew two flights into DFW this weekend using the Bonham STAR, and both times I got the same screwy approach vectors. Both times winds had traffic landing north. I am generating the flight plans using FSBuild 2.1. As I cross certain international control borders, the altimeter pressure announced by ATC changes between QNH and inHg. So, in any aircraft, are there toggles to set the mode for the altimeter pressure reading or do I hit the tables, somewhere, to convert on the "fly".Real life and sim, any suggestions?

Just completed a flight from EBBR-LSGG. On approach to LSGG co-pilot left to get weather. Temp quoted at LSGG -14 on Radar Contact.The Atis weather for LSGG temp 30 C. Using Real World Weather at the time. Can you tell me why the large discrepancy in the temp please?.

Just recently, Radar contact is freezing while on approach. Just after the co-pilot calls the "on five mile final", everything seems to freeze. The simulator is fine but nothing more is heard from Radar Contact--no ground handoff or no "flight critique" screen.This happens every time at the same place on the approach and it does not seem to matter at which airport you are approaching.Also, it then becomes impossible to open the main Radar Contract screen. The program can only be closed by using the Windows program manager.Any ideas as to what might be the problem??Thanks for any help with this.Roger Hollands

If I buy RC, will it run in FS9, or would it be better for me to wait untill you have finished development in that area??

Where does RC get it's callsigns and aircraft type from-1 Does it get them from the sim or2 Does it have it's own list?If 2 then is it possible to add a callsign to that list?Looking forward to any help here

I had a flightplan made by FSBuild. Using FS2004 and PDMG and FSMeteo and CPflight hardware.FSMeteo and RC3.1 are working on a second PC with wideFS.The flight was from EHAM gate E18 to LTBA. So I was ready to pusback had the clearence of it and with switching vieuw (S key) there was a CTD. When using ATC from FS the flight went wel. But with RC3.1 it crashed two times on the same moment...??

Is there a way to speed up the pilot and controllers voices for ver. 3.1 within a config file, etc.?Thanks,Gerry

I do really enjoy flying my PMDG 737 along with RC: two must have!Now i'd like to take a step beyond. Until now i only use PMDG FMC as a GPS and as soon as RC controller ask me to begin my descent i instantly disable LNAV+VNAV and operate MCP or fly by hand until the final destination.Now i ask, is it possible to combine RC instructions with PMDG FMC inputs? what i mean are descent and also arrivals as seen on FMC departure/arrival page.Thanks for helpingLuigi ;-)

Hi, I'm shaheedanVery new with RCV 3.1, any idea on how to edit the ATC voice in RCV 3.1 ? example i have the airport ICAO WBGR and call "Miri" in default FS9 ATC will call the airport name but using RCV it call wiskey bravo golf romeo (WBGR). how to modify this to call "Miri" ?Second, what is a relationship during flying between RCV 3.1 system and default FS9 ATC ?

I have sent two different emails now to acquire the key for RC but I still haven't received a reply. How do I get in touch with the customer support? Are the guys generating the keys on vacation or did I miss something?

I have a problem with RC 3.1 When i choose wx brifing from adv display i have a crash after 20/30 second with default payware aircraft and with default aircraft too.But it's not like a system crash, it's rather like accident aircraft (with PMDG for example i heard "bank angle" few time before the accident) also i am at the gate with off engines.My system is AMD 2600896 ramWindows XP home editionVersion 2.123 of AdvDisplayFSUIP 3.30 with regular registrationFS 200410qrr

I am using the FS2004 Beta version. This error happened this morning and caused FS2004 to quit. RC quit as soon as I had 'OKed' the error message. Any ideas would be appreciated.

HiAfter a very interesting troll back thro months of this forum and reading everything on the RC site many times I've decided that RC's for me, perhaps V4.I'm still using FS2002 (can't yet see a convincing reason to change and lose so many of my goodies) and generally fly the various PSS Airbuses.Since I have limited timespans briefly this is what I do on longhaul.1.I prepare the a/c and load up the flightplan into the MCDU and into FSNav and FS2002.2.Fly up to cruise and stay there as long as I can leaving enough time for the descent and approach etc.3.I then go to FSNav, select a point on the track 50 or so miles before my TOD and note the heading.4.Go back to the a/c, …

Greetings. I'm having problems with the linking of RC and AS.I'm running both RC3.1 and ActiveSky2004, unregistered FSUIPC 3.22. When, at 60 miles or so before my destination airport, I leave the frequency for weather, the weather report given is not correct. Usually, the report states calm winds, wind direction zero, altimeter 00.00, temp zero, and other values that suggest it has unlinked from ActiveSky.The weather is reported correctly during preflight. I haven't checked the weather during other portions of the flight, so I'm not sure when it unlinks.Refereshing the weather does not re-establish the link.I thought I read about this before, but I can't find the threa…
