Can someone explain what this instruction means, and how to do it?Next change your RC shortcut target line to this "C:Program Filesrcv30rcv31.exe"And the instruction below, does that pertain to the same shortcut? The PC that I run fs9 from has not got internet access, I transfer all add-ons etc from my notebook, which has internet. Do I have to be connected to the internet to recieve my key or can I request it through my notebook, thanks.Keith Sandford

Hi JD,Just recently I have been experiencing sound stutters. While usingspot view I get stutters but none in cockpit view. If I hideADVDISP the stutters go away. I have just started using FS Timeto keep my clock from slowing down. Do you think FS Time is the problem? Using ASwxRE V1.92, RC V3.1 FS2004.

I know this version is old, and honestly I havent even busted it out in a long time, but I thought I would give it a try again. My problem is that it gets about 60-70% done and then my cd-rom drive acts like it keeps searching for something. I can hear the drive working like crazy, but no files are getting copied to the hard drive. I know that it isn't my drive because I install stuff frequently from disc, and this is the only one it happens with.It seems it hangs on the ATC files, I remember one of the directories being named fleetwood or something similar. Is 2264 the final build for 3.1? It's still listed as a beta on the website, and I didn't know if 3.1 would always be a "beta" and this was just the "final beta release"...or if there really is a "final release" of v3.1.ThanksJ

Guys-Flying KDEN - KHLN. Last waypoint before KHLN is the BZN VOR. Approximately 30 miles from BZN ATC tells me something to the effect that "weather in front will cause some delays and to expect vectors". I have a hard time understanding this controller but it sounded like "fly heading 135, direct when able". A 135 heading will take me to my waypoint of BZN. So, I fly to BZN, BUT after passing it, the waypoint doesn't go off of AdvDisp like normal. (I was never given hold instructions or delay vectors at all). I turn towards my next waypoint, which is the airport at KHLN, and I'm getting busted for being off airway. ATC basically gives me a heading to go back to BZN (lik…

Been using RC31 for a while now. Terrific product. As of yesterday however, I am unable to load .pln files. The blue progress bar never gets past 50%. At that point, the program has not locked up and I am able to attempt to load another .pln, which does the same thing. I downloaded and installed the update this morning but still have the same problem. Hope to find an answer here before I have to spend another hour reinstalling. Thanks. Mark Chouinard

Greetings,I have three questions:1. How do you make FS2004 use Comm2 as it's default comm?2. When I move my AdvDisp box to another monitor it'll flicker a few times and then dissapear. Anyone else have this problem? And if so, is there a work around? Even if I try and dock it there the same problmes persists.3. I keep getting British controllers. Where do I start in order to trouble shoot this problem? I fly mainly in the Pacific NW. Thanks.-Matt

Hi,I am using the PMDG 737NG far more than any other aircraft and having my backside kicked by Bill Stevens from FSDO for busting my altitude when the NG's TCAS told me to descend to avoid a collision in the London Heathrow area. Is it possible in version 4 to have a command to inform Centre of a TCAS resolution and subsequently a climb or descend without the usual ' I'm going to tell FSDO on you '.Thanks for a great application. Dear All,I have been using RC3.1 for a while now and seem to be fully versed in its operation. I have recently upgraded my fs machine and now wish to fly with Ai traffic (last one was not so hot in fps)I bought Ultimate Traffic.However, I use PMDG 737-900, it seems to have comm1 and comm2, 1 channel to monitor and 1 channel to send and monitor. I have followed the instructions about filing VFR flights in FSATC but I am really struggling.FSATC seems to take ages to respond to requests...is this normal, maybe as RC gives you the reply straight away.Am I doing things wrong. Hi!Yesterday, I installed RC3.1 to my computerfrom RC3.00. And I also installed latest FSuipc(3.22),latest wav files. But I had two problems.1.. Altimeter call When we are decending, approach ATC said 'Altimeter 0, 0, 0.' I don't know why he said '000'.2.. Display box. There is a green display box that shows the number key of the instruction what I should enter the number next at top of the screen. we saw some letters were missing. (8.previous 0. main 9.next 0. main 9- art xt)Do you know why these letters appeared,and anyone solve this problem?I'm using FS2002. Hi all, I am very keen to purchase RC ver 3.1 for fs2004 but first a few simple questions please.1. Does the CD ship from the US only? If so how long to recieve in the UK?2. Is it compatible to work with pmdg's aircraft? If so.....3. How do you export your flight-plan from fsbuild over to RC. I did not understand the tutorial exactly. I remember there is an option on fsbuild that exports plans across to pmdg automatically. Does this also happen for RC?Thanx in advance for any help.Keith Sandford

I have the FDC copilot volume turned all the way up. When I set the speaker volume comfortable for Radar Contact, it is very difficult to hear FDC. If I turn up the speakers where FDC is okay, Radar Contact is blaring. The very little I've read is there is no way to coordinate the two programs, but I probably have missed something. Is there any info or ideas on this? thanks, louross.

Haven't used the holding delays much because something doesn't work correctly. Using MSFS2002 and when opening RC the green intro screen says Version 3.0.1739. I filed KFWA - OXI vor - KORD in the default KingAir at 6,000msl.About 8 or 10 nm from OXI, RC says something very brief about "delays" and then "proceed direct to OXI. Fly 290 degrees until able direct." Nothing else. I get to OXI and enter a standard holding pattern until I declare min fuel. Am I missing an update or patch? thanks, lr.

I notice that there are a number of similar wav files installed under the Winwood0-12 which seem to be the Pilot/Co-pilot voice set files, and that my current co-pilot voice set is in directory 0. Not sure which one is the pilot. I would like to change both the pilot and co-pilot voices to different ones to better match those in FDC, but I can't find any reference within the User Guide as to how to achieve this. Could someone please outline what one needs to do to change either or both Pilot and Co-pilot voice sets.Best regards,Stuart Hyett

RCv3.1. OS WIN 2000PRO. FS2K/2. Everything in RC works fine but so far am unable to save a part completed flight in RC and restart at interrupted point. I have followed instructions in manaual, ticking off each action as completed. At the point when I have typed in the abbreviated file name and click "save" the flight parameters briefly flash in the scrollbar space and disappear. After restarting FS2K/2 and loading FSNav, then maximising RC and clicking "load flight", the lower scroll bar stops at approx' 50%; no flight parameters appear below and the "start RC" button remains greyed out.What am I doing wrong/not doing or is there a problem?WIGGINS.

Hi JD,Thanks for all your continued support.I have some requests for your next version that I would like your comments on.I mostly fly the 737-700 and I use the Jeppesen charts for my arrivals and approaches. I like to fly by the numbers (crossing restrictions and waypoints). On some approaches, I do let ATC guide me in.I do not know what it is in real life, but is it possible to contact the arrival airport sooner. Right now I can contact arrival for my weather around 40nm to 65nm away. I am well into the arrival stage of the charts and I find I am rushed if I have to re-program the FMC for another runway. I am managing ok if this is not the way it is in real life. Right …
