Hi allUsing:Windows 2000 fully patchedFS2000 fully patchedRadar Contact 3.1FSUIPC 3.22ADVDisplay 2.1.2.3Problem:I load up a flightplan, start flying, then on receiving DESCENT instructions from a Center Controller, I dial in the new (lower) altitude.The FS autopilot then changes the descent rate to PLUS 1800 fpm instead of MINUS 1800 fpm!!!!!!!!If I remove FSUIPC.DLL from the MODULES folder in FS2000, and restart FS2K, I can descend fine...except of course I then can't use RC :-(Does anyone have any idea what's going on?Many thanks in advancePeter Salvage

How does the laest version of radar contact deal with FS2004? I just want to know how well it works with it. Also what is the status of version 4? Thanks for the help.Chris

Hi, I got the CD Version of RC 3 some months ago... I installed and used it for a while, but I gave up on it because RC's unability to "see" the AI, both on the ground and on the air. (not RC's fault, but the development of new technology).Now that I purchased PMDG's737 with all those capabilities like holdings for example, and FMC integration, I am in need of a good ATC software that provides me with the option to use the full potential of this AC.Looking somewhere I read that there is a new version in preparation...so I have been waiting patiently to read on the subject but I dont see anything...So I decided to ask, I know it is work in progress, and no developer anoun…

Hi!I have two problems - the first is an old one. Had it in FS2K2 also, when one seemed to be forgotten on the runway for takeoff. You are told to drive in position, but never get clearance for take off with an eventual information of heading in a special course. After 5 min. waiting for nothing, one take off and then someone in an angry voice entertains one with an info that one was told to fly heading in a given direction. Well - i never got that information. I remember i send a file of the situation - i think even 2 times, but i don't think there ever came something out of it. And in a new installation with FS9 - the problem still happens - e.g. at rwy 22R in Copenhage…

Hi friends,after doing a double check in R.txt i cannot understand why during flight RC lists RW19 as 0 (w/o ILS) while R.txt reports:FACT,10502,200,1,345,110.3FACT,5581,151,16,135,0FACT,10502,200,19,165,109.1FACT,5581,151,34,315,0I was sure i had to do some editings but that file seems to be fine.Thanks in advanceLuigi ;-)

I've never used any of the RC sims before and don't know anyone who has. My question is, can tower controllers actually see out of a virtual tower down onto the airport they are controlling like pilots can see out of the airplane they are flying?Or are you having to use radar like app/dep/ctr controllers?Curious.

jd,I have never been able to resume a saved flightI am using FS9, RC 3.10.2268, Registered FSUIPC 3.202, Registered WideFS 6.221.FS runs on a Spanish WinXP Pro, while RC runs on a WideFS client computer with English WinXP Pro.The RC situation (dat) is saved in the "saved" subdir of RC. The FS flight (flt) is saved in the primary computer in the spanish right location (....Mis DocumentosArchivos de Flight Simulator).But when I try to load the flight, lets say "aaaa.dat", after a while RC says "Trouble loading aaaa.flt", and nothing hapens.CheersCarlos

Whenever I try and load a saved flight, it starts loading. But then it stops and reads, "having trouble finding (file name)." Any idea what's going wrong?Persephone

Reiceved my first copy of RC31 one week ago, made few flights with it and I find it really outstanding !Two things are just annoying : 1/ The fact it can't manage AI trafic2/ The fact Ground can't assign taxiways (at least on airports I tested).I've read there and there that RCV4 will correct point 1, see that few RCV4 betatesters have no problems using it with Ultimate Traffic for example.....So I WANT to be a RCV4 beta tester !!!!!!!!!!!!!Please !!!!!!!!!!

Hello,I have always been flying, using the default FS9 aircrafts, with Radar Contact and it was very handsome to be able to save flights and then to reload them with the flightplan still operational on the (fysical) point I saved the flight.I tried to do the same with the PMDG 737NG, but after loading a saved flight, the flightplan was not available anymore in the FMC.I use FSBuild to develop my flightplans.Is there a way to save and reload a flight (with Radar Contact) and then just continue flying the plan?I put the same question in the PMDG Support forum.Thanks on beforehand for the reactions,Juul Tango,Hasselt (Belgium)

I read the other thread and it don't seem to come to any conclusion. As it's so long as it is, i start this new thread, because i suddenly also encountered the problem - after i started to fly around in US.Haven't seen this in COF in Oceania, Europe and South Africa - but when i arrived in the states... - it happens often - and only on approach, sometimes in the start of the descend, other times at the the end - some 10 NM from the airport. I NEVER experienced this problem anywhere in FS2K2...From reading the other thread i can understand that noone has a clue what it is, so i'm not very optimistic, though i do hope the new version you talk about comes without that "speci…

Hi,Following on from the release of the excellent Koch Concorde for FS2004, would there be anyway to introduce into the next version of Radar Contact an option for Concorde to enable "Cruise Climb"?I realise that Concorde has been grounded for good but i'm sure she will live on in the Flight Simulation world as she was so unique and that many people would love to keep her flying.As Concorde flew higher than conventional aircraft she didn't have the standard constraints of having to do Step Climbs and maintain altitude seperation with other aircraft and just drifted higher as her weight decreased.In the current version of Radar Contact I guess you can get around being nagg…

I have developed a problem with missing speech during a flight. I am receiving instructions from some controllers but not others. I had this problem before and JD was able to solve the problem, the only problem is now that I cannot remember how he did it. I have tried to find the previous post without success. I can remember that I was asked how many files were in the Winwood Section, these details are below. 1. 1030. 234-1135. 5. 1136. 678910.-1135. 11.4 12-1. Can someone help please.

I am reading all the nice things being said about RadarContact4 and can't wait to get it. Any idea when it will be ready? Last night I was flying from KJFK to EGLL in Opensky's fantastic 747-400 and joined by at least 30 jumbos (I added my own AI using PAI and MRAI) as I approached the Irish coast. FS9 ATC gave me, as usual, a very late descent into Heathrow and as I was on finals I got overtaken by at least 5 of the aircraft which were behind me en route over the Atlantic! None of them cleared to land and they all got down before me and would have crashed into each other if it had been real life.I am really hoping that RC4 will be able to sort this sort of thing out and…
