Hi I have RCv3.1 on my computer with FS9 and have just installed FS2000 aswell, as I want to use Dreamfleet and would like to use RCv3.1 with FS2000 aswell.Is there anyway I can use RCv3.1 with both FS2000 and FS9 as I would like to use FS9 one day and FS2000 the next. Would I need to install RCv3.1 again and point it to FS2000 or is this not possible without another machine. I have 2 HDs on my computer I dont know if this would help?Your help would be much appreciated.regardsStuart

Hi JD,I have this little nice problem recently. In my FS9, EDDH has the ATIS Freq. of 123.125 and NOT as in the SIMCharts 123.120Do you see the comming problme? I cannot tune RC to x.125, only to x.12 That is why RC crashed FS9 down to the desktop, pointing to a atc.dll problem if I wanna send this to M$!I tried to change the frequency within AFCAD2, but that did nothing, the CTD still comes exacty when my CoPilot Otto tunes to get weather from Hamburg Weather observation (ATIS).What can I do to make it work? I don't know why this didnt happen befor month befor... I often flew there befor!

Hey Guys. New to forums and posting, but need some help. Upgraded to RC31. Using HOTAS Cougar. For reasons I can't fathom, the sound from the controller(s) drops out. Didn't have this problem with previous versions. Sometimes happens with ground after clearance, sometimes much later. Even seen it come back! Happens whether I fly or "Betty". RC still runs and "thinks" its responding. I can tell this because 1) My menu choices change in ADV display and 2) if "Betty's" flying she responds immediately to what I perceive as dead silence. Thanks.

I love RC but I have 2 problems: First, often while VFR atc tells me to maintain a certain heading after departure which is parallel to my on course heading. When I am finally told to contact center and resume own navigation, I'm scolded for not maintaining my heading! I quickly try to get on my FS Garmin GPS track but usually am scolded another 1 or two times. What can I do here? Secondly, I notice most of the controllers I get in the US have foreign and sometimes hard to understand accents. Can I do anything here to make them more realistically American? Thanks.

Just wondering, does RC use text messages, or ATC voices such as the ones in FS9?

Hello Jd, I have the CD V3 and downloaded the updates but was wondering what is the correct procedure for installing? I am having a few problems in using RC3 and the Cessna 310 by Flight One. The AdvDisp window appears when I first start a flight but if I change views, the window disappears and does not return. I thought I saw someone post something about this but I don't know where I saw it. Any suggestions?

I have been a successful user of RC v.3.1 using WideFS on a second computer. I have the latest versions of AdvDisp, ShowText, and fsuipc.dll. Today I tried to start RC and it would not respond after trying to load a flight plan. Suggestions welcome.Bill

I have been considering purchasing Radar Contact 3.0x to enhance the flight simulation. I am running Windows XP and FS9. I looked on the Radar Contact Web site a saw there was a "patch" to run it for FS9. I have never had good luck with patches so I am reluctant to buy this version. Any advise from FS9 and Radar Contact users?

I really like to fly with my PMDG 737-800, using ATC. I really would like to fly online (Vatsim) but I just don't have the time for it... Getting online, preparing everything, waiting for all clearances and not being allowed to use the time accel option just makes it impossible for me to really seriously give it a try...Sadly enough the FS9 ATC (although a bit better than the FS2002 ATC!)is still not really it... After using rc many many times it has started to lock up. I did a search and found another thread on this and it said to check the winwood dir. 2-13. Well I did and they all have 1134 files except for to. Dir.5 has 1135 and dir 12 has 1133. I guess somehow a wav file went from 12 to 5. Is there anyway to find out which one it is or is it time for reinstall? thanks keith

Hi all,just want to know, why RC v3.1 ask me to change my heading for traffic even i can't see any traffic sign inside my TCAS 2 system.And when i have traffic warning, normally yellow color , no instruction from RCv ask me to change my heading. what happened actually ?

First, I am a happy RC3.x user, have been for some time now, use it for ALL of my flights, without issues.I am curious, in the real world (commercial jet), what is the standard operating procedure for descents ... meaning, with the FMC/MCDU calculating TOD which I guess is the point where you can make the most economical descent in flight idle ... does ATC always "initiate" the descent or does the pilot request descent? To be specific, I am thinking commercial jets, US airspace. I notice in all of my RC3 controlled flights, I am asked to descend a considerable distance in front of the TOD ... whether in a Boeing (PMDG) or Airbus (PSS), usually losing the ability to use …

I'm considering buying RC 3.1 because I find the default FS9 ATC to be very flawed. In particular two things about the default ATC irritates me, i.e.1) Default ATC does not seem to pay attention to published procedures which I can find in simcharts. I use your product for every flight.When I fly from Winnipeg (CYWG) to Regina (CYQR)with this flight plan - CYWG FAREN YDR J504 VLN CYQR or this flight plan - CYWG VLR J500 VLN CYQR, I am having a slight problem when the winds in Regina request a landing on runway 31. The problem is this: I fly from either VLR vor or YDR vor to VLN vor. VLN is to the NorthWest of Regina about 16nm. I am flying from East to West, when I am landing on runway 31 in Regina it makes no sense to fly all the way to waypoint VLN then turn around so I can land on runway 31. Does anyone know how to get the flight to start at a gate instead of on the runway? If I edit the gates in FS, then I am at the gate, but it fries the flightplan. If I set the same gate in the Controller Options, it seems to have no effect and I am still on the runway. Second, is there a way to link to the "Active" runway or do you just have to look it up and specify it when you are building the flightplan (more realistic I admit).Thanks

In FS2004,I was trying to get the menu to display properly (it was garbled) and now I have everything working but the menu is missing. I can hit (1) and it sends radio messages, but I can't see the menu. Any thoughts on how to restore this?

sorry guys, been having a real problem here. I recently update my system to a AMD3200, 1gig ram and a GF6800 128. Running vid driver 6.14.10.6177 and DirectX latest. I have the latest FSUIPC registered and the latest AdvDisplay.Bottom line; AdvDisp is just hammering this setup, frames in the single digits, flashing between FS9 panel views, ect. Hi,I'm just wandering if you could give an estimate, just an estimate, regarding the release date of RC v4...I know you prefer to make an announcement when you are ready to release, but just to have an idea if you expect the new version of RC to be released by the end of the summer or in fall or winter. When I start a flight and activate Adv Dsp my sound starts skipping.If I close the Adv Disp window the sound returns to normal. Alsomy frame rates take a hit. I can fly using the green band and haveno problem with the sound or frame rates. Any ideas? Running FS9and have latest version of FSUIPC Reg. and version 2.123 ADV DSP.

Could not find any info on this....forgive mne if it is in here somewhere.I know you can use the "ga" "ca" and "s" codes in RC for ramp/general aviation/cargo......but when you just use your gate number, let's say #7, the controller just says "taxi to seven". Is there a way to get the program to say "GATE 7" or "RAMP 7" or "CARGO 7" or whatever. Or are there other codes than the 3 above I may have missed. I searched through the manual, and search in the forums here, but not getting much luck. Thanks.Brunofss
