I love RC and use it for all IFR flights. One question: How do I get the Brit voices out when I fly in the US?

Hi, I'm shaheedannew in RC V3.1, just wat to know why during load RC V3.1, i get error "One or more programs you are using is not accredited for access to our unregistered copy of FSUIPC" as i know new RCV3 we no need to purchase this FSUIPC,any idea??

Hi all, My name Shaheedan,just recently received my CD after 2 week purchase. what happen is my previous e-mail (during i fill the order form) is no longer valid cause upgrade my internet to broadband service with new e-mail account.recently i received the e-mail from JDT LLC Customer Support saying that the key has been sent to my prevoius e-mail (according to their record).Any possibilities to resent the key again to my new e-mail ?

Hi jd,On numerous occasions I have found myself on final approach after receiving clearance from RC to land, when, at the last moment RC orders a go around due to an AI aircraft taxiing onto the runway. RC then proceeds to give the offending aircraft a verbal thrashing for not continuing to hold short.Why does this situation happen in the first place? Did the offending aircraft receive instructions from FS ATC to taxi into position, and if so, was FS ATC oblivious of or indifferent to the fact that another aircraft was on final? I tried to activate a flight today for United airlines but I could not find a United on the menu. Where might it be? I wonder if I may have failed to unzip one of the numerous files. Anybody else out there having trouble with RCv3.1 and PMDG NG737 800/900? I'm running the latest build (2269) and have been really enjoying RC for several months now. But recently - and the only thing that has changed is the PMDG upgrade - I've been experiencing strange behavior from the controllers. Goes like this: everything seems to be fine until I'm one or two waypoints into the flight. Tracking right down the airway the controller asks me if I show myself on the airway, says he doesn't and instructs me to turn 180 degrees from my course until suitable for direct......Program works fine with other aircraft. Any suggestions?

I have been using RC since its arrival and this is the first time I have encountered this but remember others have posted this problem, so I come to forum only to find that the forum has been erased except for newer post so I must ask this question again.I have my flight plan set for FL330 but when I get the clearance it clears me to FL600. No matter what FL I have set for any flight plan it clears me to FL600. Anybody know whats up with this?Thanks,Hawk

Hi JD,I just tried to create a flight from KSEA to KOAK using the PMDG 737-700NG. RC ATIS and Ground Control both designated Runway 16L for departure. Yet I could see that all AI aircraft were using 34R -- the same runway, but in the opposite direction. Not only that, but I couldn't even taxi to 16L because there was a stream of AI airplanes heading towards 34R and blocking my plane on the taxiway.I'm using Active Sky 2004 as the weather engine.I've noticed other instances where RC selectd a different departure runway than the one being used by the AI traffic, but this was the first time that I could't even get to the runway assigned by RC.What's going on, and can anyt…

-Does radar contact also support Altantic crossing??-If I make a flight from EDDF to K JFK/EWR how many Hold chance should I set...20%, 50%, etc???-When do you can expect en-route Holdings??? I am following with interest the development of RC4 as it seems to address the major frustrations I have with FS2004 ATC. However there is one little thing that is starting to concern me. I understand RC4 is unlikely to be released before the end of this year. If so then it may only have a few months shelf life before FS2006 comes along and its a whole new ball game. Furthermore, the suggestion that MS may make some radical changes to the FS code base this time round gives me some what more concern than might otherwise be the case. Hi,As you see my question already, I will define it with an example: Lets say I'm flying to KSFO (San Francisco) and I have to cross SFO VOR and then I get Radar Vectors to final, but at the same time I gona cross SFO VOR there is another aircraft thats gona cross SFO VOR at the same time on the Same hight. (a MSFS aircraft) How does Radar contact deal with that or is it just an update to MSFS ATC but with most realism possible???Thanks,

I just installed RC3 then the 31 update and additional wav files per the website instructions. When I started FS04, loaded a FP, started RC31, RC3 didn't show up in FS. First problem was Advdisp wasn't installed. I put the dll file in the modules directory and now I have the advdisp window but it is still blank. I'm assuming the problem is the path to FS. I thought it was set right on installation. i do not have FS02 installed anymore, just FS04. How do I get FS to recognize rc3? Thanks. Tom

Hi,I had a strange experience with Radar Contact 3.1 today. The headings that I were flying between waypoints were exactly the same as those displayed in the headings to take in the text window. However, I was consistently being told to fly the same headings by the ATC controllers that I was flying in the first place, e.g., I was flying 50 degrees to waypoint XXX as shown in the text box, and the controller would tell me that I'm not flying the correct route and that I must fly on 50 degrees heading.Any clues - I'm flying FS2002, with Windows XP?Best regards,Peter Keenan

After reinstalling RC, I seem to be having a problem with the flight plan page. I use FS Nav to develop a flight plan. I then export it to FS9. I then load that plan into the particular plane I am using and then I open RC, click on the button to access the flight plan (pln) but when it opens the plan, all of the waypoints of the plan do not show up.It gives the first waypoint and then something like "alt1-alt2 and nothing else.If I keep fiddling with it and re export from FS Nav to FS9 and then reload the plan, sometimes it will work properly.Any suggestions if this might be an FS Nav issue or RC problem.Roger Hollands

RC and advdisp had been working fine until a few days ago. Now the advdisp display appears but the Radar Contact dialog does not appear and there is no response to keystrokes (I can see the dialog when I "click" on he lower bar of advdisp. I have the latest ATI drivers for my Radeon card and the latest versions of fsuipc and advdisp) Suggestions please.

The way FS9 ATC seems to work for IFR flight plans is that at around 80-100 nm from the destination airport you will typically be assigned an approach/runway and given a vector and altitude by Center. You are then vectored around, sometimes being handed back and forth between Ppproach and Center, until you are on an approximate 30-degree intercept to the final approach course, at which point you are handed off to Tower. Occasionally, the FS9 ATC just goes totally stoopid on me, though. The other day I was being vectored to approach, but the last assigned heading was taking me _away_ from the airport, until a point where ATC informed that IFR was cancelled, squawk VFR, …

I've read this section in the user's guide several times, but I'm still not sure if I understand the process correctly. I have yet to get this working to my satisfaction in FS9. I have customized the RC keys to all use ctrl+shift. Once I have my flight loaded in FS9 I set COMM2 as the active radio from the radio panel. This does two things: the options I select from the FS9 ATC window will set the frequency on COMM2 instead of COMM1, and whatever frequency is tuned on COMM2 will be heard. Meanwhile, RC is getting its frequencies from COMM1, and the RC audio is heard even though COMM1 is not active on the radio panel. In fact, to prevent both FS9 radio and RC radio f…

I have just reinstalled Windows XP on my machine. Can you please tell me what the process would be necessary to reinstall Radar Contact from the disc.Is it necessary to reinstall all of the upgrades or will the last one be sufficient.Also, will I need a new key.Thanks for any help with thisRoger Hollands

I`ve just had a flight totally ruined by Radar Contact. I was between two waypoints, about a hundred miles apart - I hadn`t missed any waypoints - I was on course and at the right altitude and I hadn`t missed any waypoints. Then I was asked if I was on course as they showed me off it.I`ve heard this problem being put down to long distances. Well this wasn`t the case here. It was a short trip from England to Germany and there were no long stretches between waypoints. They instructed me to fly in the opposite direction.I`ve been using this program for some time now. Everything is ok for a while and then this same old problem occurs and another trip is spoiled.David

It's not that it's a real problem and it's not only in RC. It's the "eternal go-arounds". One thing is in real life, but in the simulator it's the crummy AI planes which pops up, as did they have a life of their own - often 3, 4 or 5 in the tail of each other. Not very realistic.When one is about to land after a 4 hours flight also have being put in a hold and then twice have been cleared to land and then, in the very last minute - when the wheels are 2 cm over the tarmac - are told to go around, as the controller suddenly wakes up..., then i get ******* and lands anyway. It will take some 10 or 15 min. more to circle around, not having any guarantee that i don't get an o…

When I contact ground to taxi to the runway I get the instructions and hit 'key 7' to acknowledge. But almost immeadiately I get an instruction to taxi into position and hold, when I have only just started to taxi. Is this a 'feature' or am I doing something wrong?

HiI know i have mentioned it before, but i still struggle with this problem, also after a re-install, when i got FS9. Often - but not always, the sound becomes more than scratchy - and i mean the voices of controlers, co-pilot, pilot etc. - even then "bing" when i pass a waypoint. It only happens when i use Radar Contact. When i fly with MS atc i never face that problem - and also have no problems whatsoever with any other sounds on the computer.It destroys the fun for me to use Radar Contact, as it's awful to listen to. Restarting Radar Contact don't help - i have to restart the simulator and then start Radar Contact to make the sound normal again - though not a guarant…
