I get get back to back chatter that is continuous enroute during cruise for about one minute. Then things return to normal. I've never had this happen before but now it seems to happening more and more often. I searched the forum but didn't find anything. Anybody have any ideas. Thanks

JD-I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but is there any way for you to incorporate the MSA circle into the controller page in the new version? Something along the line of defining the reference point and setting altitudes for the various sections per the compass rose?I don't have any idea of the necessary work this might involve, but it would solve a host of problems. I was flying to Missoula MT last night and was vectored to the ILS at such a high altitude there was no way to capture correctly. The terrain cuses this, so that's why I wonder if there is a work around other than lowering the MSA figure on the controller page and then hoping you don't whack the …

Hi,I was wondering if there is a way to update RC3.1 for new Rwy's?I fly into KMCO frquently and they have a new runway, is therea way to add this to RC?

HiI am using RC3.1 and enroute gander to Halifax.Since shortly after take off the bloody controller has been driving me absolutely crazy. Keeps telling me to adjust my course but I am right on the money - according to the PMDG FMC and the 'map'in FS.I gonna ring the #### neck soon. Hi,Was wondering if RC4 will have the option of ILS touch and go's, when we do touch and go's in the AWACS, the pilots always say stuff like, "We'd like the low approach to 17 and then circle to 12 and then back to "radar" for an ILS at 17. jd,Please excuse me if I get some of the numbers wrong in asking this question.Will I be able to use Concorde in RC v4.0 easier?At the moment I ask for FL590 (east to west) and then Dev for Turb and make what Concorde would call a MAX CLIMB from FL260 up to a point where it won't climb any longer. At this point any further climb is the result of weather, (temp etc) and fuel load.In film I've seen, Concorde pilots say they flew so high that they 'owned' the sky above FL500 and so a slow climb to an unspecified height didn't matter, no one else was up there.Of course I cheat by telling v3.X I can't hold my alt due to turb and the controller doesn't bother me.Will V4.0 know…

Onroute to my destination, I moved complete control to my co-pilot (both comms and aircraft).When the nearest centre called in to change my altitude, my co-pilot had confirmed the message, but did not make the adjustments. I was also off course by several degrees.has anybody else had this?

Been away from flightsimming and RC for awhile and having some random trouble now with busting altitudes while climbing. I never had any problems while using RC earlier(around 2003-early 2004).The problem is that i cannot seem to keep a decent climb rate after handed from departure to center,while using for example PSS A340, the controller(center) keeps reminding me (this is the fourth time now!) about the assigned altitude(FL230, 260, 330 depending on the flightplan), which is usually few thousand feet higher than my current altitude while still climbing. I recently did some heavy maintenance on my computer a short time ago. I erased my hard drive and re-installed everything.After re-installing RC3.1, and getting a new key to activate it, I can't load any flight plans onto RC. When I proceed to load a flight plan, the blue-colored load indicator only goes up 1/3 of the way and stops.I've used RC a few months already and never experienced this before.Can someone tell me what the problem is?I have placed the most updated FSUIPC.

I like to fly the older birds with the analogue steam gauge panels but I have a question about airway navigation using RC3.1I use FSNavigator to plan my flights and I make note of the course I'm supposed to fly in between my waypoints (mostly VOR's). When airborne I'll fly with my CDI centered to the appropriate course heading but if pop up the FS GPS it actually shows me off the airway and consequently I usually get chewed out by ATC. One solution would be to fly the route coupled with the autopilot coupled to the GPS but that takes out the fun and challenge of flying with the steam gauges. Help. Checked out this forum for clues but can't find solution. Was running RC3.10.(2269?)with unregistered copy of FSUIPC. No problems.Did the following.1)Upgraded to FS92)Updated to FS9.1 patch.3)Updated to FSUIPC 3.44.4)Updated to recent ADVDSPLY.5)Found build 2272 of RC3.1 installed.Verified 3.10.2272 is running.Now getting message unaccredited copy of program running when I start RC3.1 and a blank ADVDSPLY. Anyone else ever encounter this? You are at your cruise altitude of FL350. TCAS shows traffic at FL330, 2000' below your altitude, but RC reports their altitude as "FL350", and reports your altitude to them as "FL370", in other words, all altitudes consistently off by 2000'. It's like RC was using the wrong sound files for the altitudes. Mark Kuebeler

Hi,Here is a feature I thought could be useful :Unattended mode : when you decide to do a very long flight, you usually do not spend the whole flight in from of your machine. That would be nice to have an "unattended mode" when the controller does not tell you anything until you press the key "I am back". Of course, a solution can be to give the radios and the plane to the co-pilot but that does not work with most of the payware since their autopilots are not based on FS default model.Happy flying,Olivier

Hi JD,This has just happened the past 2 flights. Both flights weregoing into KEWR 4L. Both flights were forced to GA because oftraffic. Both times this happened I reduced traffic to get a cleaner approach. After the changes RC stopped responding aftermy parallel runway vector. Is there a way to reduce traffic on thefly without affecting RC?Thanks in advance

Hi,Some of the new add-ons allow the user to enter two routes in their FMC (ATR72, upcoming 767....). I would like to know if it has been considered to be able to go from one route to another with Radar Contact. We could load two flight plans and have the possibility to ask the controller to switch from the main route to the alternate route.Just an idea for an already good product,Happy flying,Olivier

With regards to the weather holding, I'm assuming that this will be determined by the weather at the arrival airport. If this is the case, will you have to wait for an improvement before being allowed to continue, or will it just be a short hold to simulate congestion caused by bad weather?Secondly, the ATC speed on departure option (250kts below 10000ft). Am I right in thinking that the option here is to turn the restriction on or off? Hi,when I realized I have no canned chatter anymore in the UK and the US I reinstalled RC. After that everything worked fine again but the next time I heard only the RC synthesized chatter again. Got a question....When starting RC, and then checking ATIS, there seems to be 2 ATIS reports given at the same time. 2 different voices, a couple seconds apart, giving generally the same report. I have ATC in FS9 turned off and I don't load the plan through FS. Any ideas on what is causing this.
