Will their be any chatter prerecorded or even generated RC chatter or will all be realistic on the fly with whats happening in the sim. Basically you hear traffic calls, interaction with Ai traffic between RC and the AI, like the default fs9 ATC?

is radar contact like the old program called proflight 98 for fs98? since it was also an atc program are they similiar?thanks

default is automatic when clicking tune.also are emergencies on the right frequency or on any freq?

Does this exist or will it for V4, i really would like to hear it in action for a couple of minutes. Or does anyone know where i can get a video of this with flyers that already have it recorded with their flight, or is anyone offering :)? Really curious thats all!

OK, I know I'm going out on a limb for asking, but here I go anyway. I understand the "quality not calendar" sentiment, and I don't want any dates or guarantees on the release of v4.0. Hi guys i never bought v3 of radar contact and v4 sounds pretty good but the users that already have dealt with RC what has been your experience, do you like it what is the coolest feature? I've been tempted to consider purchasing RC when version 4 comes out but honestly fs9 atc will do for me. Its not the greatest but i can live with it.Also i think RC forces to look at charts like real life as much as i find that realistic i also find it time consuming and the sim pilot I am already takes 20 minutes to setup a flight in my PMDG 737 and probably longer in the upcoming 747. Not to mention all the things i need to open when launching fs9 and fs auto start etc....What i wou…

this is one of the reasons i like fs9 i dont want to look at a chart i know its realistic but time consuming for the way i fly.

Ray,It it too soon to say what your favourite feature of V4 is?I mean in comparison to v3.x are you able to say what makes V4 a real pleasure to be using or something that v4 does that earlier versions don't?From reading all the posts on V4, I might say better approach and AI handling on touchdown.... :)I understand if you can't say....for what ever reasonRegardsMark

i have a question on version 4, i know that otto does not fly planes other than the default planes, but im wondering when the airplane like the PMDG 747 comes out and say that you are in the air for several hours, what do you do or is there a program that will allow you to rest and let the the co -pilot fly for awhile.seems that they are making these planes so sofisicated that you have to have help.Thanks...........Robert

Hi RayI've just read one of the many posts about v4, go arounds, and AI on the runway etc etc....I have a great little flight from Brussels Int to London Heathrow and always get this problem.I am so looking forward to v4..... but the post did make me think...I start at Brussels around 8:15 am working towards a departure time around 8:30. My question is if I buy version 3.1 now, can I upgrade to 4.0 when it is available by paying the price difference between the two (if there is any) or can I better wait until RC4 is available? Hi there.I have a simple question: my approach plate IAF is at 3000' but, since i have to wait to contact approach to ask for IAP Appr. and then dscend i'm always too late and cannot reach IAF at 3000' as prescribed :-(Can anyone please explain what should i do in this case?Should i begin my descent w/o center clearance?Thanks in advance for helpingLuigi ;-)

After receiving clearance to land I have frequently experienced Radar Contact ATC instructions to go around due to an AI aircraft taxiing onto the runway. The controller "chews out" the offending aircraft, but continues to issue go around instructions.Has consideration been given to provide Version 4 with the capability to prevent AI aircraft from fouling the runway? The program is great, can't stop using it.Wanted to know if the program has the ability to issue random speed restrictions or just the default 250/230/210 and if it can issue a speed restriction on final (170).Also a random turn to base at different distances from the airport without using short final.If not would like to know if it's because FAA rules.Thanks in advance Shom

Hi folks I have a problem with Departure; they keep sending me to strange headings. I was flying from Sydney YSSY to Canberra YSCB the flight plan, setup in MSFS9 and transferred to RCv3.1, took me south to Woolongong, YWOL my first waypoint at heading 194 degrees. No matter how I depart Sydney when I get on to departure I am asked to fly 345 degrees. No matter what runway I take the result is the same. With Flexible dep proc set or clear I get sent to heading 345. My first waypoint is more than 30 miles south so should not constitute part of a DP as far as I can tell. On one flight, with Flexible dep OFF, I got as far south as Woolongong when I was once again sent to 34…

Hi JD and Rick,I was wondering if in the new RC-4 we could have something to help us Helo pilots.Right now I have to hover out to the runway given to get a take off clearance . Is there a way to have the ATC clear us from the pad to take off and give a heading for departure without going to the runway? This would solve the problem for helo

All,Anybody knows on why when i switch landing light to "ON",all word contain in my Adv Disp keep flickering until i switch "Off".Currently using Adv Disp 2.1.3.3 , RCv 3.1FS9, 737-800 PMDG in VC mode.Regards,Shaheedan
