hi,i have read your manual. do i understand right that with the new version of Radar Contact the AI traffic around me will be in actual communications with atc, as well?i am using mytraffic and the only reason i haven't used the software (RC) in the past was that the AI traffic was ignored by Radar Contact.if you could please just confirm that i am not misunderstanding the manual??thank you!regards

I've incountered a new problem which has been identical on my last two flights. One was an old flight plan and the most recent was a new flight plan, while flying 737 NG. During descent, I can be at my assigned altitude or at most 100 ft high or low and I'll be told that I've busted my altitude 3 or 4 times even though my alt. hold, altimeter, and altitude indicator tell me that I am at the correct level. My RC altitude variance is 300 ft. By the time that I'm at 10,000 at 250 kts, it becomes a broken record that my assigned altitude is 10,000 every 15 seconds. Hi Folks I'm looking forward to trying out Version 4 but what is the significance of the 109 "Favourite Airports"?. Does this mean RC4 can only be used at these?

Will there be any problem resuming a saved flight now without RC on my system after installing the new RC4? Basically I have a few saved flights can i continue them wjile in flight with RC4 atc kicking in or should i start fresh on the ground?Thanks!

I'm new to the Radar Contact forum and have a question regarding it's use. I have downloaded VATSIM and was going to use their ATC for flying but noticed that I had to close my antivirus software that I am currently using when on-line. I don't like this idea and was wandering how 'Radar Contact' functions in regards to Clearance Del, ground, tower, approach, atis etc. Do you have a choice of 'Voice or Text' when in use ??Regards,noullet

Hi,Just started looking at your product, Radar Contact 4, and it looks very interesting. I have downloaded and started reading over the manual. However I was wondering whether it would be possible to release a video of the product in action?I have never used any of your previous versions and as such there are certain things you want to see in action before you buy, for example, what do the ATC voices sound like? What is the ATC chatter like?If you could release a quick video of it in action it would certainly help me decide whether to get this and would answer many questions about this product.Thank you for your timeJoseph

Hi,maybe this topic was discussed earlier, but I can't find any reference to it: Does RC4 give the ability to determine the arrival runway while enroute well before starting approach? FS9 ATC will give you information only if you are within 30 nm of the airport. Much too late to modify descend profile properly if you've guessed the wrong runway.Thanks, Thomas.

I just looked at the new website and saw that the new RC does not work with FSHotSEAT or FSHotSEATFX. I really like the sound enhancement that FX gives to the AI aircraft. Why is this program a problem with the new RC? Is there a resolution or do I have to give up this enhanced sound?

Could you tell me please what would be the shortest flight possible in RC4. Is the 40miles from the destination the deciding factor?Don Hunt

Maybe the betateam can respond."Ground traffic frozen to prevent runway incursions while you are on final"Is this all the traffic at the airport or just the traffic within a specific distance from your runway?"New crossing restriction altitudes based on runway in use"Since all runways at a specific airport in MSFS are at the same altitude, can you elaborate on this a bit?"Cleaner, more consistent downwind/base/intercept/final vectors"Does this mean I still get a 20 mile downwind in my Cessna 150 and can you expand on this a bit on this new feature also?

Man, i did a flight today with FS ATC just to get some traffic. Was it bad in the landing. I was vectored all over the place. Hopefully soon.If I had my way, Micro$oft should incorporate RC into FS, let jdtllcretire millionaires and we would all be happy. Rick too can be a millionaire.JimCYWG

I've visited and read the web site and gone through this forum and I've sort of got an idea what RC does but I'm still really not quite sure.My first question really relates to how (if at all) RC interacts with AI. Now I've read threads that say there's not a problem, and others where atc interacts to such an extent that you re told to follow a particular ai aircraft on the ground etc, but does RC do anything with AI at all - ie control it etc. Would I hear the AI aircraft ahead of me being cleared for take-off?There's also been mention made of canned chatter - what's that all about please?Finally (sorry to be a pain) but how configurable is RC - can I change transition…

I have RC3.1 one working fine all the sounds are there but the last 10 flights I get to the destination airport and loose contact with RC 3.1 it locks up. I still can land the plane but RC 3.1 isn't working. I go to my main menue windeo on computer screen and have to right click the bottom icon to close it, will not come back on screen. Any suggestion.
