Hi. I'm fed up with trying to get my account activatated. Rick has kindly sent another invitation, which I have used immediately. It says I am a member, and I log in with email address and password. All that then happens is that Google says they will send me an email with an activation key adddress, but it never arrives. I have emailed Google to tell them that nothing arrives, but there's no reply from them.Does this Google scheme work in the UK? Or am I doing something silly or wrong?Don Hunt

Will RC v4 continue to use multiple runway configurations like the default ATC? For eg. I flew into KDTW a few nights ago and four different runways were being used. (PAI AFCADS). Thanks!!

I am currently in Italy going east on my round the world trip. When V4 ships I will give it a good eastern europe and Asian test. I started from central Canada flying a C310.y'all have a good day now.JimCYWG

Hello Everyone:)This has likely been answered before, but I am unable to find the answer.When we install R.C. Version 4 will we have to unstall Version 3.1 or simply install V.4 and leave V.3.1 on our computer.Tks. for any replys.Kenny G.

I didn't pick up the Google Group invite before now, and when trying to follow the 'accept invitation' link, I get error message 'The subscription request you confirmed has expired or is invalid.' Maybe I was just too late ?After opening a personal Google account, I can enter the group's homepage, however I'm not permitted to post or respond to any messages.Please advise.Regards, Harald (ENZV).

I skimmed over the manual, but my biggest complaints are obviously how the default ATC handles spacing in the air, and on the ground how it handles certain things such as takeoff clearances. For example, the default ATC lets airplanes sit waiting for takeoff clearance and waiting to cross the runway forever. I like the idea of slowing or speeding up surrounding AI, but what about ground ops? Will the tower try to speed things up on the ground?Thanks and sorry if this is covered in the manual but I missed it

Hi all...My question is, I mostly fly in Central and South America and there isn't the same amount of chatter as there is when flying in the US....Can I "cheat" RC into putting the same chatter as when you fly in the US when actually flying in C/S America? JD,V4 question for 'ya. I noticed in our FS9 modules folder we have a "ATC.dll" file. 1) Is this the main FS9-ATC file? 2) When using v4, do you know if we can archive this file away (out of the modules folder) to save CPU cycles? If you, or a beta tester, can test this while we're sitting around waiting for v4, that would be great. Thanks,Al

I was asked by jd to do some final testing on V4.0 of R/C. Now I have had V3.1 since it came out. I even did my own voice files so I could hear my own voice within FS. Now I thought that R/C could not get any better

Just that simple question, I'm an RC3 user.Is there anything we won't have in RC4 that the default ATC features?

I just completed loading RCv3 today. I've flown three successful flight plans and everything seems to be working except the message window is missing text. There are little squares where it seems there should be some of the text. I can make out the commands but the word wrap looks wrong as well. I've searched the posts and haven't been able to find any that address this.I loaded the upgrades as instructed by Rick's email except I didn't load FSUIPC because I own the latest version which is v3.6.Suggestions anyone?Fred Young

Browsing thru the (extensive) RC4 manual, I wasn't able to understand if a "deviation for wx" option is available during departure and approach phase of the flight. This could be very useful if storms are lingering around the departure or arrival airport.Thanks for any clarification.

I've been reading the manual, and haven't yet come across any instruction to disable the Default ATC (perhaps I've missed it in my excitement!). Does opening RC do the disabling automatically?Don Hunt

Sorry - either my last query on this got lost in the first thread, or maybe it's too daft to answer. Anyway, I was asking for a clarification. The reference I read on the website seemed to indicate that if RC and FSHFX were run together, then RC's AI chatter would be affected adversely. Is this the only issue, ie if I had no AI chatter in RC, would the two co-exist?Bud

forgive me if this has already ben answered, I searched the form, but will it work with it or does it even matter?

Does this refer to the traffic near the active runway? Or does all ground traffic on the tarmac stop moving until you have landed? If the latter is the case, is there an option to disable this? I would like to see some of my ground traffic continuing to taxi. Looking forward to this add on.PS Speed restriction below 10K - the manual says speed relief exists at non FAA controlled airports. Is there an option to have speed relief at all airports for those of us flying the 747-400 (when we are at heavy gross weights?
