4 simple questions:how many pilot voice sets are in ver 3?how many atc voice sets are in ver 3?how many pilot voice sets are probable in ver 4?how many atc voice sets are probable in ver 4?

I am considering buying RC v3.1, but I am afraid that v4 is just around the corner, but... I have been reading the "coming soon" statement since the beginning of the year. I would buy v3.1 in a heartbeat, if v4 is more than a few months away from being released.I know that everyone is very busy with v4, but I don't want to throw my money out of the window, if the new release is imminent. Also, would I be able to upgrade to v4, if I buy v3.1 now, and at what cost?

Can i assume this is accurate fro mwhat someone mentioned? "The way I understand it in v4 the synthesized voice will be used for both talking to you and AI aircraft. There will be additional canned chatter in the background that you can turn off."Thanks!

with the release of fs2004, fsuipc and advdisp have been updated. the current versions are 3.125 and 2.123, respectively.if you are currently running fs98, fs2000, fs2002 and radar contact version 3.0 or 3.01, you can get by with the older versions of fsuipc.only radar contact v3.1 is "accredited" to run with fsuipc 3.07 (which means you can use the free version of fsuipc)here is the link to the current versions of fsuipc, advdisp and widefshttp://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html

Hey All,Got a problem and could use some help. I startup FS2004 and then upon starting RC I get a "Run-Time Error 53" causing RC to terminate. I have installed the newest FSUIPC module, and the RC updates for FS2004. Any help with this situation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance...Patrick

1. Does RC change controller voices when you are handed off?2. Does RC change accents in different parts of the world?3. Does RC communicate with UT AI Traffic? (I know versioin 4 will.)4. IF RC does not communicate with AI traffic, can I still hear the AI traffic?, or am I on a differnt frequency?5. Will RC sequence me in with AI traffic (spacing) or will I stilll need AISmooth?6. Will RC run on a separate computer connected via WideFS? Further to my previous post on SIDS and STARS, I have tried to use JDs suggestion of leaving RC when contacted by Approach. Unfortunately I am still having to leave RC much earlier than this due to altitude restrictions on the approach phase of the STAR. I wonder if this problem can be looked at in the future version.

As you know I have been using RC products for quite awhile now. With the exception of getting a 15-20 mile downwind in the Cessna 172 (lol - yes I know we have been around that bush JD - no problem), I have truly enjoyed and respected this product. Howdy, Flew into KSTL tonight and was vectored to 30L. The localizerin Advamced Display showed 110.55 and on my charts it said 111.55.The 110.55 is wrong because I could not get G/S fired up. The 111.55was the one that worked. Is there a way to correct this?

I would appreciate some advice about a recurring problem with RC at FACT Rwy 19Approaching FACT from J'oburg or London one is appropriately vectored but maintained at FL10 and not given descent instructions until too close to the airport to make a safe (or any!)approachIs this a known problem or is there something that I can do to correct this?Otherwise this is a great program thanks for all the work to make it so good!

One of the beta testers said that some RC beta testers are using Ultimate Traffic with Ver. 4. Would UT be a good addon to buy if using RC4. I would like more AI and this might be the way to go.JimCYWG

So, since the time change might change 1 month earlier and 1 month later does that affect RC4?I think it is an excellent idea. I jog and that will make light that much more. Time will tell. JimCYWG

Having criss crossed the US in a PMDG 737 several times, I decided to venture into Mexico recently. My first flight was from KSAN to MM0(zero)F. RC guided me perfectly down the Baja Peninsula until I was near my destination and I waited for some approach guidence, which never came. When I attempted to turn to approach my destination, RC told me that I had violated my heading, so RC was still running.No big deal. I'd had this sort of thing happen before. Hi Just done two flights one from EGKK - LEBL programe packed up and froze just 23 miles from LEBL, also flew from LEBL to EGLL and the same happened 14 miles from from EGLL, wonder if flying the LDS 767 is the problem, any ideas.Ken

This their a way to set this up i have two sound cards and would like atc just in the headset and every other sound in the regular speakers. Is there a way?

When using RC, if the flight plan which I export fromFSNav 460 includes SIDs and STARs , will RC allow me to fly full proceedure approaches as per the saved SID and STAR, or do I have to exit RC, to follow the requirements of Altitude and Heading etc. Having tried to use the the SID and STAR in a flight plan, the RC program seemed to be ok for the departure leg, but the arrival leg caused all sorts of problems with busted altitudes, so I finally had to terminate the IFR.Am I doing something wrong within the system or am I expecting too much of RC?. Any suggestions welcomed.
