When in full screen and I click on the ADV DISP box to "Hide When Empty" the 2d panel also vanishes.What's up? This only started recently.Terry

Having used RC since the beginning I can't count how many times I've had to request a new key because of a reformat. The question is, if I restore an image of the drive with no reformat will I still need a new key? Also, I have multiple drives - the system is on C and RC is on H. Which drive controls the product ID (I always assumed it was C but now I'm not sure). I'm really trying to avoid having to keep bugging the team for new keys all th time if I can avoid it. I have not used Radar Contact since upgrading to FS9 and Windows XP. I loaded my Version 3.0 CD, downloaded and installed Version 3.01 and received my new registration key and registered succcessfully. I then downloaded and installed Version 3.1 and the required Wave File upgrades. When I load a flight plan from MS Flight Planner, I only get a partial display in the flight plan window: "KGRB to KTVC@1500(Alt1-, Alt2-)/" When I click the Start button, I get the following error message, and RC shuts down: "Run-time error '9': Subscript out of range"Can someone help me with this?Bob Sturm

Hi JD,I created a flightplan in FSNAV from LAX to SFO for my PMDG 737. The first navaid in the plan was the Gorman VOR (GMN). I exported the flightplan as a FS2004 plan and loaded it into RC3. The problem was that after takeoff RC3 showed 2004 miles to the next waypoint on a totally different course! I was then busted for straying off course. I think RC3 was calculating the distance to the Gormanston NDB (also GMN). I have no clue where that is but I'm guessing it's far from Gorman. BTW, I recently loaded the AIRAC 0502 update for RC3.How can I make sure RC3 uses the correct navaid when there is more than one in the NAVs.txt file with the same name?Thanks - and I can't wa…

Hi All,I am having a problem when I am arriving at my destination airport,RC3.1 keeps telling me to turn 90 degrees off of my approach heading when reaching 10K then resume on course when able.Example my flight to Midway last night I was desending through 12K the controller told me to fly heading 264 upon reaching 10K, proceded on course when able, 2 second later, I get "I say again fly heading 264" I was still desending through 11800, ok so I turn to 264, I get Contact arrival on ###.##, I contact arrival, now I get fly heading 064, 180 degrees out, this is the heading I should of recieved in the first place,it's really bugging me as i get this on just about every flight…

Hi to all,I intend to buy ver.4 of RC once it is out. This whole AI-thing in ver.4 really confessed me ;-) as it was the reason not to buy any of those programs like RC3. I just wanted to ask, wether the taxiing intructions will now also include the names of the taxiways, maybe from the AFCAD files? Just a small issue anyway... .

This would be one of the most realistic features, is it in future plans?

I am finding some rather extreme readings for the weather generated by RC. Today according to RC the temperature at Malaga Airport is reported as minus 15. This is given using Real World Weather updated every 15minutes on FS9. I also find that the pressure readings are constantly updated by ATC even when I use the B button to update, am I doing something wrong.

Hello,many months my RC3.01 / Fs2002 ran without a problem (installed on a seperate PC via WideFS, using TightVNC remote software, nothing else running on the machine). Then my HD crashed, I reinstalled the whole system. Of course, some things may be different then before.Now the computer very often crashes after starting a flight with RC, at different times and situations. Most time the last thing I hear is my callsign (for example 'Eurowings 1 ...') and then the machine (Win2000 professional) has a total crash, black screen (!), only a hard-reset helps. And very strange: the same happens after an update to RC3.1 / Fs2004 ( I can switch between both versions by renaming …

I have noticed that since installing the latest update to 3.1, I no longer seem to get the "my plane" or "my comms" acknowledgement when handing over control (Ctrl-Shift-K or M). Is this something with the upgrade or something else? I did change my co-pilot voices by copying over a UK male voice into the folder that is used for co-pilot - could this be where the problem lies - e.g. maybe those wavs don't exist for the pilot that I chose?Is there an easy way to switch co-pilot or pilot voices?Best regards,Stuart Hyett

OK, so here's the sob story ;)I was on approach to 04R and given a landing clearance. Once I got to about 200' tower told me to go around because an AI aircraft hadn't gotten off the runway fast enough. OK, fine. Contacted approach on the climbout as usual. The ceiling was broken 10000 so I figured I'd request visual and do a circuit in the pattern. Requested visual, was given clearance for visual approach and told to contact tower. Came around in the circuit, got the "Cleared to land, you're number one" info, landed, took the highspeed turnoff and upon critique had my cert lifted for landing after tower told me to go around. Hey John and the rest.Don't know if you remember me mentioning that i have had problems with the sound (chatter) for a long time. It started to stutter and almost horrifying to listen to.Well - it's over. For a couple of years i've also been using FSRealtime and lately is has caused more and more problems, so today i stopped using it. Since i could see that the graphics improved dramatically i thought - maybe it caused my problems with the sound in RC, so i increased the amount of chatter to 3/4 (which was impossible before) and i made a 3 hours long flight with no stuttering at all. :-)Have spoken with Joshua from FSrealtime and he is aware of the problem.

ATC instructions are normal until after takeoff.However once airborne I'm finding that I have to follow the text box heading instructions rather than being told by ATC which headings to follow.Is this correct?Cliff

I'm getting regular CTD's. If I have to reinstall FS9, does that also mean I'll have to reinstall RC? Or will it automatically connect?thanks, louross.

Will the ai in v4 request start and push from the gate, and all so do you have any Jamaican doing atc voice for you. If not I can help you with that. Hi, I use RC 3.1 and each time I hold, waiting for my clearance for take off I never get it. To obtain my clearance I need to enter the runway and reach, with the nose the middle point of it. As soon as I reach that point RC gives my clearance. The trafic in the RC options is set to zero. I tried in different airports but nothing changes.Thank you very much.pap

I just wanted to know if you guys have already decided in what form RC4 will be available. Will it be CD only like the current version or do you plan to have a download version as well?And do you ship worldwide in case of a CD Version?

This is one feature i'm sure most simmers are waiting for and of course ai seperation.

Hello,When I press 2 on the FS pc that is the initial command to contact clearance I do not get a response from Radar contact on the remote machine. I am using the Actionkeys=Yes parameter on my wideclient.ini file so the remote machine can expect key presses. Any ideas??Also, I noticed that on the FS pc, it indicated WideServer clients connected: 265+. This cannot be correct? I think I have some problems somewhere. I was curious JD or anyone who might know how you plan to implement VFR flying in RC V 4.0. I have the previous version and while excellent does not incorporate VFR flying and Id like to know whether you will incorporate it in the new version or not, thanks chris

Hi,I currently fly the PMDG 737NG via the Virtual Cockpit, I'm having a problem with AdvDisp 3.30. When I switch the landing lights on, the text on AdvDisp vanishes, the only way I can get the text to show is to switch the landing lights off ...:-hmmmAnyone have any idea how to solve this, I have render to texture off and no panels to lock AdvDisp to as I'm in VC mode. I currently just have AdvDisp locked in the top left corner of the screen.Please help ...

So will RC make an effort to try and get rc4 working with the next fs.I have never owned RC and am wondering how they work. I do intend on buying RC4.
