I have just installed V4.02 but have struck a problem which I cannot see previously mentioned in the forum. I start fs9 and then start Rcv4 and all goes well momentarily. Then it stops working and at the back of all the screens I find window saying "Run-Time Error '75' Radar Contact.fsuipc.rc4.code". Would appreciate some advice on this please. Thankyou in advance:(

I currently have v4.2.0.3831 and have found that only 4 rcd files are now listed instead of all the previously saved flights,including autosave files. These are all in the flight simulator files folder in My Documents to which the .flt/.wx path is correctly addressed in the RC4 opening screen. I notice that only those 4 files in the are .rcd files. Any suggestions?

I use RC with Ultimate Traffic (flying Flight 1 ATR with FS2Crew).Waiting behind AI traffic for takeoff, I hear AI aircraft announcing final and RC giving landing wind info. What I don't hear is RC clearing the AI in front of me to position and hold and then for takeoff. Instead, the aircraft just vanish, in sequence, as they prepare to enter the runway.Don't know if this is an issue with RC, Ultimate Traffic, or the waythey work together. During one of my recent FS2004 folder "clean outs" I apparently deleted the makerwys.exe ( I don't know why I do these things !!! ) Anyway I looked on the install disk and saw that the the exe is contained in a binary file so I need to know if there is wany way I can get a copy of makerwys.exe from the most kind and understanding folks at RC or anywhere else for that matter.

Ok guys,i'm new here and, yes, my english is poor, so, excuse me in advance!First of all RCV4 is a piece of art!I have just some problems with a guy of "flight critique" option. At the end of a flight I call him and he tell me something, sometime a lot of thing, but I don't understand....Is there an option or a tip for a replay, or maybe a script?It is a pain, every time to say "what the %%&/ he said"? :-)Thank's a lot and ciao from Italy!:-)Francesco

Since I cleaned up my PC some weeks ago (drive cleaner, file wiper, defrag), when now starting up Radar Contact , I always get the message "cannot find nDac base pro.msi" or something to that extent. By clicking "Cancel", RC continues to load, and works fine, so no real problem so far. But now by trying to install RC 4.2, I get the same message, and since the file "nDac base pro.msi" cannot be found anymore on my PC, I can only abort the installation. Hi!I get the message when I try to run RC (ver 4.2) after loading a flightplan. I'm using FSUIPC 3.65 registered version and it works OK when using it alone with FS. I get the same message when trying with RC 4.01.It looks like RC can't find the file FSUIPC.DLL, but it's installed in the correct directory "...Flight Simulator 9Modules".What to do?Markku

You MUST have previously installed version 4.01 (4.0.3737). You can download the 4.01 upgrade from http://www.davevollmer.com/rcv401update.exebefore installing the 4.2 upgrade.The 4.2 upgrade is simply a replacement executable in a zip file. All you have to do, is download it, and unzip it INTO the current Radar Contact directory (by default, rcv4)If your Radar Contact default directory is on a different drive than the "boot" drive (the drive where windows is installed), you will need to request a new key by emailing [email protected] AFTER the 4.2 upgrade is applied. Have v4.01 (3737) installed. Have downloaded RCV 4.2. Unzipped and tried to install but get error message " C/unzipped/rcv4_3831/rcv3.dat was not found. RC4 cannot continue"Any ideas?

Hello All:I downloaded version 4.2. When I try to run it I get a popup that says Flight Simulator not installed which means you may be running RC on a WideFS machine. This is correct.Then it goes on to say run MakeRwys.exe.... copy r4.csv file from the FS machine to this machines RCv4data directory, which I did however, I keep getting the popup message and am not able to install ver 4.2.Thoughts?*** EDIT***Nevermind, thougt that it was a installer and not just a replacement exe which, it is.Sorry

hio all,i'm stil;l getting used to this radar contact malarky.Just a few questions,When i am heading towards my destination airport, the controller asks me if i have listend to the ATIS and i press confirm, he then says i can expect my ILS runway, flight plan terminated contact tower. I then get handed off to the control tower and they talk, and i ask require IAP runway 3 ILS, they then respond with maintain (alt) until initial runway 3 approach. (Or something along those lines) i then proceed and i normally pass straight over the airport i'm supposed to be landing at? is this correct? i thought they were supposed to guide you around the tell you to interceot the ILS?Am i…

Hi all, New user here. Have made a couple of flights and RC seems to be behaving as advertised and saying the right things at the right times - a couple of points though.I am seeing a delay between the key stroke for menu item selection in AdvDisp window and response from either pilot's or controller's voice of between 15 and 20 seconds. Now and again it's faster than this but that is the normal delay. For example when instructed to line up and wait I hit 7 to acknowledge and am easily lined up before the pilot's voice even acknowledges the instruction. Hi all,I recently received the RCv4 CDrom and also my key code.I made a flight plan in FSNavigator, saved it, exported it to FS2004,started FS2004 (in window mode) and loaded the fight plan in FS2004. I was given PD to FL170. After reaching FL170 I was yelled at for being off course and vectored from a heading of 135 to 280 and told to go direct when able. So, after turning to 280 I attempt to get back on course heading toward my last waypoint KFJK. The controller yelled again and vectored me away from the airport. The vectors continued until I was 100+ miles from the airport at which time I declared an emergency. The program appeared to get confused so much that I could not cancel IFR I had to shutdown the program. Hi all,I am having some issues with FSUIPC Display. On most flights after a while the window turns empty, making it impossible for me to use the menu. ADVdisplay is removed from the modules directory and I am using the latest version of FSUIPC. Any ideas what is going on?Mieg.PS. I understand that with the new version of FSUIPC you can now use the FS9 ATC window for commands instead of the ADV window.
