is there way for my 'copilot' to change my frequencies? so if i'm doing an 8 hour flight, I dont have to sit infront of it the whole time :(I remember reading something about that on a review so I thought I ask

Hi,I discovered yesterday while beeing still at the airport that Radar Conflict's advanture window conflicts with my add-on, B767-300ER from LevelD.I suppose that it will conflict with other as well.The addon has a ground-call mamagement which I can use to talk to the ground personel. It is not necessery but fun. :)When the window from Radar Cotact is up where I can have choices to be cleared and get the weather I need to press 2, 3.When I press in LevelD's Overhead panel that I want to talk to the ground and for instance connect external power, which is crucial I need to press 2 from their popup window.External Air, 3. Since using RC4, I have noticed that my anti aliasing seems to have gone to pot! I can see jagged lines everywhere where before it was a nice smooth curve!I have a very high end system spec wise. I'm using the NVidia 7800 GT SLI card.Anybody else found this?Ben Briscoe

HiIn some aircraft when I download weather I get the following warning:" Your altimeter is set incorrectly. To set the altimeter, press B"I do that but it goes back automatically to the default value 1013MB. Why is so? Any settings that control that? I've had two incidents where RC seems to loose track of me. Both instances involved a messages saying, "Due to traffic saturation center has cut us off, fly direct (my next waypoint) maintain xx degrees (heading to next waypoint)" Once passing the waypoint RC seems to expect me to keep to the assigned heading but just leaves me there forever until I declare a minimum fuel. The last waypoint in both cases was about 60 miles from the airport: Palm Springs and Colorado Springs. Maybe RC has trouble with airports with "springs" in the name; bounces you around ;-) I had to deviate in both cases otherwise I would run into mountains; NOTAMS was on. I have holding for weat…

Hi allUsing version 4.2 for the first time I had problems accessing all menu-itmes in the adv-display. Was able to get clearance and wanted to change runway, pressed the corresponding key (think it was "2") and nothing happens. I taxi to the runway I was assigned first and take off. Then on approach to the destination I also want to change runway, this time its the 5-key, pressing that and nothing happens. I land all right and want the critiques, pressing key 2 and nothing happens. Only other possibility is key 3, that exits RC4 ok. Rebooted the computer and tried it again, this time I didnt get any clearance, nothing happens when pressing the "Clearance"-key. Never exper…

Having d/loaded and tried the FSX demo I don't think I'll be buying it for quite some time. I am of the opinion that it really needs DX10/Vista to run properly and I don't buy new OSs until at least the second service pack. In the event of RCv5 coming out before then will it run on FS2004 i.e. backward compatible as previous versions have been?Iain Smith

I had a new strange problem today. Flying from Heatrow (EGLL) to Edimbourg RC4 repeately asked for transponder code 2632 (per example). But I was on that code. First I ignored it. But then I changed it and then put it back to 2632. Sitll the controller requested the code 2632. Every 1 or 2 minutes. No way to ask end of IFR. No menu showed that option. I had to stop RCV4 to get rid of the stubborn air controller.

Hello,Is there a chance to get RC4 to help out with the taxing to the gate and to the runway. I am new to RC4 and if I'm not misstaklen the RC4 do not give you directions on how to tax to the runway/gate.Sometimes I do not know exactly where the gate is, for instance when landing on a new airport and not having any airport map.And sometimes I do not know exactly how to taxu to the runway for line up either.Thanx in advance and thanx for a great product.I also ask here cause it is an ATC issue allthough for FS2004.Is there anychance of disabling ATC in FS2004. After giving RC4 a dozen flights, I've decided to remove it from the computer for awhile and wait for your next major release. I guess the biggest complaint I have is the lack of terminal procedures (DPs & STARs). If I want to fly a RNAV STAR I must basically turn-off RC4 before top of descent; otherwise, the app usually starts me down 80-120 nm before TOD and becuase it relies on FS9 navdata it is totally unaware of the fixes that have been published in the past 3 years. I can't recommend the best way to keep current, but many of the most successful add-ons have developed strategies to improve fidelity.The final straw was a short hop KABQ-KTUS flown by SWA (ONM J104 …

Occasionally a controller will hand me off to another centre and say "have a good flight" or "see you later". Now, being the sort of guy I am, my first reaction is to say "thanks" or "bye for now" but none of the pilot voices I have so far used ever say that!For v5 can we have better mannered, friendlier pilots please? ;-) Iain Smith

jd, this is a problem that I thought had been solved in an earlier update. It happened twice in a row at London Heathrow. We were all queueing at the hold points on either side of runway 27L and being lined up in turn by RC. I was told to line up and did so. Then the heavy that was waiting on the opposite side came and lined up over me. Result - aircraft collision, back to the start!The second time I ran de-bug hoping it would happen again and it did. In fact, being ready for it I knew it was going to happen because a couple of seconds before RC told me to line up, the BA 747 opposite put it's lights on and looked ready to move. Hi there,I am not having to much success with VFR Flights with RC4.I am using the latest version of RC4.Firsly I use the fs flightplanner, tell it my DEP/ARR I then tell it, that it is a VFR flight in the planner and direct GPS, I then save the plan.Next into RC4 load the flightplan and start it.Back into fs, I then set my Transponder to the VFR code, go through everything, takeoff get vectored, move to next controller say they cannot see me due, pls set transponder code to whatever, then approaching airport get vectored all over the place as if i am a 747 with a huge long final.........?Am I doing something wrong? Hello there.I have done a search but cannot find any reference to the problem I have.I recently purchased RCv4, but have not been able to use it. Upon starting Radar Contact, the program runs for about two minutes and then closes. I get this message:Unable to write to:"C:Documents and SettingsAdministratorMy DocumentsFlight Simulator FilesWill not be able to" record .RCD files." Hi,When I first installed RC4 I chose not to install the chatter files, but as my flights now seem to be very quiet I wish to now install the files from the disc. (Yes, for some reason I am getting no AI chatter during the flight when I am in cotact with center controllers!!)Anyway, if I choose the install full version from the disc to include the chatter files, will this overwrite any settings in the program that I already have such as new voice sets?thanksKeith
