Since moving FS9 and add-ons from my C drive to my D drive everything seemed fine until I went to rebuild my scenery DB in RC4. I had simply moved my RC4 directory from C to D and obtained a new key.Now, when attempting to update the scenery DB it says that Makerwys.exe cannot be found in the FS9 root directory. Not surprising as I uninstalled FS9 and re-installed on D, moved all the add-ons across that I could and re-installed the others then deleted the leftovers, which obviously unknown to me included makerwys.exe! Do I have to uninstall RC4 and re-install to get it back? :-) Iain Smith

Hi, just got RC4.2. I've notice that sometimes my computer freezes right after the approach controller issues my ILS clearance and the tells me to contact tower. If I wait several minutes, sometimes FS will resume but it's very frustrating. Any ideas?Dell 82002.53 1 gig memoryati 9800 pro

Starting my second flight in RC but running into a problem with sound error, I guess. It starts to give me Clearance info from KDFW to KSEA then stops and window comes up, says:winwood99.whitepoint5.wavtmpwavefile.divisor=zero, then, "runtime error6 rc.fsuipc.rc04.codeEverything worked fine on my last flight. I was flying with an unregistered version of FSUIPC 3.7. I since registered it. Is it something set wrong in FSUIPC?Can't get off the ground in KDFW :(

Have you try to fly out from an uncontrolled airport? RC actually calls the center for clearance with the dial tone and dtmf tones included. Nice little touch.

Took my very first flight today using RC and I must say I am quite impressed. I may have made some errors or am unclear on a couple of things:1. I set up the text window exactly per the instructions, docked the window, sized it, etc. but the RC text still shows up in a seperate FS9 ATC box and doesn't show anything in the RC text box. I re-read the instructions but don't see what the cause for that is.2. I'm getting chatter and communications from the stock FS9 ATC as well as RC. Am I supposed to be getting both? Hello all,For reasons of disk space I am moving my 31GB FS9 installation from my C drive, where it resides with Win XP and my other programmes (including RC4.2) to my second HD (D drive).In order to do this I will have to uninstall FS9 from the C drive and then re-install to D. Hopefully, I can then move a lot of my add-ons across.Presumably RCv4.2 is one that can't just be moved across and will need to be re-installed. When I do this will I need another key?Iain Smith

Hi,I've got a problem with my rebuild scenery when I start the rebuild and after a few moment I have a blue screen and my pc reboot I try it three times and always the same, I can't rebuild the scenery...I have the last version of RC and at my last rebuild all was good. The last program I install was GE PRO maybe it's for that?any suggestions?Thank youChristian

Hi all,I have a big problem with RC and AI. It seems that AI traffic will line up on the runway and other AI will hold as usual, then there is no movement and one by one the AI traffic disappear every 5 minutes or so. RC will keep interacting with landing traffic but departure traffic is frozen on hold. This means I'll wait in line forever and not be able to takeoff at all. Any input on why this happens?I have RC4 and latest updates, FSUIPC v3.70 and Ultimate Traffic.Bilal

When using aircraft with FMC's (LVD 767, PMDG 737 and 744, Feelthere 737) I always get decsent from CRZ instructions 50-70 nm's from TOD cues on the FMC. In most cases I select DES NOW on the VNAV/DES page. JD,First let me say that Radar Contact is a great add-on for FS2004. My question has to do with the TOD. I am usually asked to descend much earlier than the FMC has calculated. Is there any way to do a descent at "pilot's discretion"?One other little issue: this has only happened twice in the 100 or so flights I have done. When asking for Clearance Delivery the responce is something like "I have your request; stand by". Radar Contact then is completely unusable. Any insight as to what may cause that to happen?Other than that it's been great!Cheers,Michael

I am recieving warnings of 'Busting my altitude' only ten seconds after the new flight level has been issued!Can version 5 be adjusted to give the crew time to follow instructions before verbal bollockings are issued please?Enquiries are being asked as 'Do I know what I am doing' and promises that I will be met at the gate by some official.I know it's not like this in reality so, why is it in Radar Contact?

Hello all:I've read the forum threads regarding VORs needing to be the last waypoint. I use FSBuild to make plans based on RW flight plans found on Flight Aware. How would I go about changing the flight plan to have a VOR as the last waypoint? Also, PSS uses a CFXX point before the runway as the last point in the flight plan. This is created when you select the active from the FMC. How would you add a VOR with this? TIA

Hello. For some reason, ground does not give me "hold position" when other traffic is heading my way and causing conflicts. Its as if im invisible on the taxiway. Is there a remedy? Thanks

hi guys can someone tell me how to export flight plan to radar contact. i tried it going to plan in rc pick rc press ok then save in myflts as apl but when i start rc go to fs200x flight plan its not there.but if i try to save in pln . i get a (run-time error 5)invald procedure call or argument. could someone tell me were im going wrong.many thanksrob

New user, just installed and have made a few flights. So far, mostly positive thoughts about the product!I searched for "COM2" in this forum, and it appears that RC uses only C1 to allow use of C2 with FS9 default ATC/chatter. Are there any plans in RCv5 to allow use of both C1 and C2? I like to use RW procedures with FS9, including the methods I use to tune radios. During high-workload times it's nice to have 4 freq's avail at the touch of 1 or 2 buttons. Heck, just being able to get wx w/o "leaving the freq for wx" would be nice!Also, is there a source to download additional voices?Edit: Found the sticky-post, thanks!Thanks for a great product, much less stressful …

If I change the frequency as directed by RC on the radio stack, RC doesn't seem to know it.

What is the proper way to inform RC4 that I am going to the alternative airport when I can't land of the intended airport for one reason or another? Currently, I just set a course on the GPS and go there directly?

I have just purchased and installed your Radar Contact v4, but when I load a flight plan and try to run RC, it says "Unable to link with FSUIPC or WideClient". Help would be greatly appreciated.
