Contemplating my first trans Atlantic flight with R/C, I was wondering how I get exclusively UK controller voices this side of the Atlantic, and only US controller voices 'that' side? I t seems completely random to me and there seems to be no way to attach a controller voice to a specific sector, unlike pilots which you are able to specify.Any help appreciatedPhil

I was happily flying along at my assigned altitude of 17000 ft, QNH checked, when ATC told me to be careful, my assigned altitude was 17000 (duh), then after a few warnings they became really nasty. Why? Why did ATC think I was at a different altitude? Is this a bug?I hope someone can shed some light on this.cheersMartin

JD, I figured out what the problem is with v4.3 beta and my makerunways.exe on the WideClient PC. It involves the installation of Flight1's GEProv2 and will affect RC.

Hi all,I often did long haul flight and could not sit in front of my computer for 10 hours during cruise waiting for that descend from RC. I was wondering how I could set RC and FS to pause just right before TOD. I knew there was a 'Pause @ Distance' function in RC but the problem was I did not know TOD beforehand and so I was not able to get that pause even roughly. What distance should I put so that I could get that pause roughly before TOD for different flight distance ? Just wonder if JD could incorporate that capability in future version.Also, I wish RC could simulate the ATC clearance for using flight tracks across the Alantic Ocean and Pacific Ocean like that in re…

Due to the unexpected shortcoming of a newly purchased 'plane being unable to resume a saved flight without dropping downwards like a stone, I find myself being admonished about my flight level.It will take me an age to get back to the filed height so what would my best response to atc be?Do I recall seeing - but cannot now find - an "Unable to comply" option?(Thanks for the Portland scenery fix: just bought it and about to fly in.)

I am very very enthusiastic about RC and what it offers. However, I have one worry: what happens to all the callsigns that I added with EditVoicepack? I have so many airlines in my AI traffic which FS9 does not recognise, so how does RC deal with it? Can it read my enlarged set of callsigns? Or is there a tool similar to EditVoicepack which I can use to add callsigns to RC?If the answer to either is "yes" - which I truly hope! - I'll buy it right away. Otherwise, I'll stick with default ATC as I couldn't stand having planes with no names.Thanks.Chris

I'm slowly working my way through many of the options provided by this great program. I have a question re the little pop up entry screen, where you input your revised destination code (during flight). Does this show up in full screen mode? I find that I have to hit alt+enter and reduce to windows mode to find it. Is this normal or do I have something configured wrong?Warren

I have a new computer and I had re-installed RCv4 with the new key for registration.But when I paste the key in the registration field RC disappear.I have installed Rc in both drive "C" or "D" (where is FS9) but it's the same.What can I do?Thank's Fabio

I finally got my home network up and running and I would like to take RC V4.2 off my main flight sim PC and move it to another PC. Can anyone give me some instructions on how to do this. I know I will need WideFS (I am a registered FSUIPC user, do I need to buy WideFS or is it part of FSUIPC). Also once I get WideFS installed, what are the steps I need to go thru to get the whole setup working?? Can i have more than one application run from a remote PC, I'd also like to move Active Sky and AI Blast to my non flight sim PC to free uo some FPS. Thanks for the help!!!

Hello. For some reason, i'm getting a runtime error 52. My RC4 goes all the way up perfectly until I take off. Then it shuts down and I get that message. Any help?

With regards to the various COMM aradio frequencies, does RC get these from the AFCAD files or does it contain its own?

JD, RayI noticed this a few weeks ago and I'm not sure if I'm going crazy but RC4 is not telling to hold short anymore, it will clear me to postion and hold right in front of a landing aircraft. I'm sure that it has told me to hold short before or just let me sit there until the landing plane has landed. I have rebuilt the database with no luck. It happened at KSAN and I noticed it tonight @ KSFO 28L.Running RC4 (the latest build) via wide FS.Any help or ideas would be appreciated. v :)Thanks!!

He's pretty handy and I don't even have to activate my FSNavigator a/p.Maybe an enhancement for future version might be an 'autoland' feature, though I imagine that might be a tough one to pull off because of all the varying terrains, etc.

There's a problem with 'Delta' and 'Delta Airlines' callsigns. They only show up as 'd' in the callsign box.

Had to re-install and registration e-mail sent back - any other way to do it.

hi could someone tell me if i missed something out. radar contact doest follow the fmc route.that i have created a flight plan from fsnavigator exported to 767 picpdv and fs2004 .everyting is fine when im on course to my destination following fmc course.then r.c tells me to desend sooner than fmc says and then it tells me to go on a diffent heading than the one on the fmc.can someone explain me what im doing wrong.many thanks rob
