JD, I saw the other post where you asked the guy to check his FSUIPC. You said to "in fsuipc, make sure on the miscellaneous tab, the "set tcas id string from" is set to flight."I have the sa,e problem he has with aircraft landing on my deaprting runway but see no call outs in FSUIPC in FS9. I have the latest version installed in FS9. Do I need to run any of the other programs that came with the FSUIPC download? Hi,After having run RCv4 for a long time with no problems at all I have suddenly developed this problem. When using Active Sky for real world weather RCv4 seems to reverse the active runway. What I mean is when I tried to depart LHR today and the wind was 225/08kts it said that the active was 09s but it should have been the 27s obviously. This has happened every time sinc then and I have not had this problem at all before! I use the request runway but when I get the line up and wait that is the last thing I hear. After waiting on the runway for 5 minute or longer nothing happens, no cleared for takeoff is given.Has this happened to anyone else and does anyone know how I c…

I have FS9 and RC 4.2 on my D drive and I had the second FSX demo on my C drive. In readiness for getting the full FSX as a gift to try out and tinker with, I decided to uninstall the demo.This appears to have caused a couple of problems with RCv4.2. First it said it was unregistered. As I had mislaid the second key I'd received when moving RC to my D drive I sent off for another which I have and that problem is solved. Then I decided to update the scenery database in case anything there had been screwed. The message I got was that makerwys.exe was not in my FS9 path. But it is there in D:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFS9 which is the right location I believe. However RC4.2…

Hi AllI just reinstalled RC4 with 01 02 and 03 updates--when I try to load a flightplan that I have made in FSNav--the same way I have always done it---I get the runtime error 6 with a message about missing departure information--the RC starts to load the flight plan for two bars and then stops with the error message.Can anybody helpCheers

Why the transition level and transition altitude shown in the controller information page are always 1000 feet lower than those shown in the FSUIPC window when RC started ?2. I flew from KSFO to KPHNL (Honolulu). When I was descending, approach handed me off to another approach controller, he gave me a frequency to contact, but it didn't match the one on the ADVDISP screen. Today I was testing the RC 4.3 beta with FSX. I was on final into Key west (KEYW) when all of a sudden I was told to go around. I couldn't see any reason for it, but began to climb anyway to signal I'd heard the instruction.The controller then gives me the speech about ovserving me with gear up on final. What on earth is he on about? I'm in the default Cessna 172 with no retractable gear. I guess they'd better buy him some new spectacles.I then reflew with debug on, so a log is available if needed.

I'm considering buying RC4 as I've been impressed by the reviews I've read. But I've a few questions I'd like to ask first.When I fly I like to feel that the SKy is alive and I use Traffic 2005 to provide realistic Airlines/Flight-Plansand Gate/Ramps. From this forum and the website I see that RC is compatible with Traffic2005.However, - Will the AI traffic still appear as in the AFCAD/Flight Plan files, e.g. Mainly BA at Heathrow, Air Malta at Luga etc...?Will RC interact (or at least ppear to interact with AI Traffic - as long as I can hear ATC talking to AI planes, I'm happy).

I'd like a clarification on how RC assigns runways for AI aircraft.Does RC disregard how runways are configured in AFCAD? i.e. I have runway 22 closed for landing. Does RC override this and use 22 anyway or does it respect how I have specific runways set up for landing only or takeoff only?Thanks

Quick question on the 250kt limit below 10K:The real-world standing rule is to remain at-or-below 250kt INDICATED air speed (IAS) below 10,000 feet. RC4.2 issues speed warnings which seem to be keying off of true airspeed (TAS), or perhaps ground speed. I have seen as much as a 50kt difference between the two, around 10K. I have not found a setting to change this, except for the speed value in the setup window.Will this be addressed in RC5, and is there a means to fix it in RC4.2?

Hello,I read some review on radar contact. It regards ground handling.When I taxi to a runway I need to watch out for other traffic otherwise aircrafts can crash. Radar Contact do not tell me to hold and let the other aircraft through or vice versa.Will it be added in some forthcoming versions?Best regards/Artur
