Hi!After several interactions with RC I am very pleased with it, however there are a couple of things that are quite annoying. AI/RC interaction is problematic, so AI goes away or I will follow the advice I have seen in the forum. No problem there.The other one is ATC. I hear FS9 native ATC at the same time when flying close to an airport (any airport, not only destination) It is not the end of the world but I'd like to know if there's an option around that can obliterate the other ATC ;)Thanks for your time,Patrick.

On my PC there seems to be a conflict with RC and the FLIGHTZONE2 Portland (KPDX) scenery.If I start a flight at KPDX without RC, all goes well. Then I ALT/TAB to start RC. On returning to FS9, all the scenery has disappeared, including the sky and ground textures

Hi,I recently purchased RC4 and have mixed feelings about it. The thing that annoys me the most is the climb to and descent from cruise ATC instructions. I get step-climbed to cruise every time. For example 6,000, then 12,000, then FL180, then FL240, then FL 280, then 360, then 380. I never ever have been cleared to climb more than 8,000 feet.On the descent, I get descended down 80-100 miles before from my optimum POD. I understand that you can't always stay high until the last minute and I'm all for that realism. But it's step-descend every time. From 380 to 340, then 280, then 240, then 180, etc. Is this constant step-climb and step-descend "as designed" or am I missing…

Hi will RC allow you to taxi and position and hold when a landing aircraft landed and is slowing down on the runway? I hate the default ATC that wait till the plane is completly off the runway, then clears you for take-off. That way you have to take more time taxing to the runway and departing. Is this issue resolved with RC?Thanks,Bill

On about half of my flights the ground controller does not hand me off to the tower--so effectively the flight stops there! Does any body think that a re-install might be the answer? I think that my adding FS2Crew might have caused this problem. I did not really like FS2Crew (too rigid) so I took it off my computer, but the RC problem remainsCheersDorn

Hi, is there a way of makeing the communication screen go away like the default ATC for FS9? On the requirements page it says you are able to however you need a registered copy of FSUIPC. If I only have the freeware version of FSUIPC will there still be a way to make that screen go away between chatter?Thanks,Bill

When I'm at the runway waiting for departure, every single AI aircraft from other holding points for the same runway will get takeoff clearance before me.Today, I was departing from an intersection on 27L at Heathrow. All the AI aircraft were taxying to the normal full length departure hold, and were all cleared for take off before me. I could see a fairly long stream of aircraft taxying towards the hold, and so the only option I had was to reduce AI to 0 to clear all the taxying aircraft. As soon as I did, Radar Contact gave me line up clearance.I was under the impression that I should have priority over all the AI. Is this correct, or do I have a problem?

I've been directed on some very long approach vectors, sometimes being sent as much as 35 miles downwind, then directed to reverse direction for landing. Isn't the normal approach about 15 mi out?Today at SVMI I wasn sent 32 miles past airport. I almost thought you forgot about me. Is this normal? I don't mind, just curious as it adds about another 10 min to my scheduled flying time.

Hi guys, how does RC handle traffic that just landed for example 28L and must hold for traffic (mostly departues) on 28R to get to the terminals. Default FS ATC has the usually have the traffic hold short runwat 28R until all the waiting departues have taken off. Will RC have those aircraft waiting to cross runways cross between departues too so there will be minimal holdups in the 28R holding points.....if you know what I meen? I have these issues at KSEA for example.Thanks,Bill

Hi JD,Just installed 4.3 final as suggested in the other thread. On my WideFS/Wideclient machine, rcv4 -> WideServerFS9 and rc4x -> wideServerFSX.My WideClient machine has registry entries for both FS9 and FSX across mapped drives to the WideServer PC.When I attempt to rebuild scenery with rcv4 (FS9) it keeps scanning the scenery out of my FSX path instead of FS9. I feel compelled to write this note following the best support I have ever received.Nothing much, but I e-mailed a problem to JD at about 8.30 pm on New Years Eve, (Not really expecting to hear until at least the 2nd)about an hour later I had a reply and the answer to my question.Where else on New Years eve would you get this level of support?Thank you for that.One final question, where does my flt/wx path point to? Happy new year to you all.I have noticed that i have a problem everytime i use the "dir cpt" function. For instance, during a flight, i might want radar contact to direct me straight to a waypoint about 500 nm ahead rather than the filed waypoint. RC4 will approve the direct to request but i find that the hdg that RC4 has for the waypoint becomes different from the hdg i have on my FMC (PMDG 747). My FMC hdg is always correct but RC4 keeps asking me to fly on a different hdg that will take me away from the waypoint (the difference is usually about 20 degrees) even though i can see the waypoint straight ahead using the FMC hdg. Why is this happening?Anthony

Hello,I wonder if it is possible to consider "callsign, you're cleared for immidiate take off runway XX" to implement in v5?That would speed up things and if there is no traffic at all it is a very nice thing to add.Or am I wrong?Also, never came across it ... is there included in v4* "Callsign, line up and wait after landing traffic B737 on short final?"If not, it is maybe good to include as well but the first thing is neat.

I have just one item that causes problems for me while running rc4....When running RC, and selecting a different view, everying 'hanges' for a few seconds. Although FS9 stops, when it restarts 3-5 seconds later, the aircraft is that much further on - it's continued its flight during the pause. This is ok while cruising, but on final or takeoff, it cause real problems.Anyone else had this and found a fix?

Hi,I'm possitive my details are correct, tried 4 times already now, I am unable to purchase RC4 from the web site, the payment gateway complains about being "unable to verify my address" and "unable to verify my phone number". How these can be verified from a credit card number, is beyond me.

Hi All,I am new to RC and the prog has been working ok with the exception of no handoff to ground after landing. I get the approcah to final fine and then permission to land but after touchdown it seems to stall with the advdisp showing the landing instructions. When should the handoff occur? on wheels down or after a period of time? I am using GAP1 airports and has happened at EDDM LOWI EDNY. Is there a way that we can add an airline name to the list of airlines, or is this beyond something the user can do? Thanks.James
