ATC don't seem to agree with me that I am on course and following the flight planned route....even though as indicated in FSNAV I am following it virtually 100% accuratelySet up: Fs2004, RC ver 4.2.3831, Active Sky (1 off download no updates as I am flying) Ai Smooth, POSKY 744F, HJG DC-8 F... 3rd party panels and instruments and non standard FS2004 Autoplilots in both cases it has to be said. FSnav used to generate and save route....used in FS and RC as well as monitor progress like radar!I have unchecked gyro drift and slider to left under a/c realism.No problems in taxi and departure phase then early on say 10-15 miles out I am told I am off course and to turn to headi…

I am considering purchasing RC but would like to know how to show/hide the ADVDISP box without having a full version of FSUIPC.Can anyone explain?Thanks!

Due to old age and some memory lapses I sometimes{rarely} miss my waypoint and have to circle back to get it in order to continue flight plan.Is there a way to announce missed waypoints.I probably could find it in the manual but I just happen to be at work and checking the forum..Thanks,Ron

Hi, After creating a plan from start, until the landing Rwy of some airport in the Usa, by using Fs Navigator either auto plan or hand made plan, exporting it and all that , I fly perfectly to the point where I start getting approach directions . Radar contact gives me one or two headings mostly turning me way out of my course and ,if I dont do something about it like going against directions and following the plan course the plane probably following the directions will end on some mountain top.My question is why does RC stop communicating until the final.When I press 9 for a short final it just considers my question and that is all.Is there any way somebody could g…

I am new to this product but took 2 flights about 2 weeks ago, and RC worked. Today when I fired up FSX, then radar contact it just wouldn't work. I was attempting to take a simple flight from San Antonio to Houston in a Legacy jet. RC 4 kept giving me a message: "Run-Time error'76' Radar Contact.fsuipc.rcv4 code"That's all it said - I shut down FSX, then started it up again, then RC4. All seemed good, but during the flight RC just "locked up". Can anyone help - or does this product just not work. Hi guys,Just one simple question about AI interaction before I sign my life away...I understand RC interacts with ATC to stop runway incursions and improve seperation on final, but does it also Vector/Control AI traffic during their flight (Same as MSFS ACT does)? When I say control, can I hear it ATC communicating with AI during flight as I do now with default ATC? I don't want to loose that sense of realism. Other than that, and the fact its a mail only item, I'm signed up.Cheers,Kael

I flew EGKK to LEMD today. Approach vectored me onto runway 18R to fly the ILS... thats all fine but it didnt take into account the high ground on the approach. If I hadnt taken manual control CFIT would have resulted. Where does RC4 get its approach data from ?

Hi,RC works beautifully when I fly IFR with my venerable BEA DC-3 from a big airport to another big one. Except.... I don't hear any background chatter.When flying from a small airfield like Marina del Campo in Elba I cannot get the FSS WX by pushing option 2 in the menu. I once heared the call but that was when I was already in the air. After many tries I cannot get this anymore.I updated the scenery db for the rest I did not change anything.I run the program on a separate computer via WideFS.Thanks in advance for your time.All the best,Stephan

Hello all, So far I absolutely love RC, really keeps you on your toes. I have one small issue though. For some reason I don't get the "request push and start" option anymore. The few times it pops up and I try to request it, nothing happens, instead RC goes straight to the taxi clearance.Any help much appreciated: Zsolt

The other day I was flying from Seattle to Honolulu. Painfully, I was halfway to Honolulu when one of my engines caught fire. Naturally I declared an emergency but got sent back to Seattle. Should I have waited a little longer? I don't mind having to divert to the nearest airport but not when it's the same distance behind you. So in the next upgrade or version, which ever is next or easier to accomedate, could there be an option to either:a) continue to destination or:( proceed to alternate (which doesn't really matter since they're usually next door.)This of course would be for emergencies where the aircraft needs some sort of special handling like freedom of altit…

Just searched by my user name/author and cannot seem to find my post that I put up last night before I went to sleep.It was pertaining to not being select from all the runways at KATL. When on approach/departure I only have the choice of 4 runways - both the inner ones.I have installed new KATL scenery and rebuilt scenery database. AFCAD is having AI aircraft land on the appropriate runways (the outter ones). RC4 instructs me to land on one of the inner runways, and when I try and pick a new one, the inner two runways are the only available...Not sure where my previous post went.. just looking for an answer.dan

Hi there,I was asked to descend to FL120 for my approach, but I missed my crossing restriction so was vectored 90 degrees to continue my descent. Anyway shortly after after completing the turn I was at FL120, so i waited patiently for ATC to vector me back onto my approach. About 30 - 40nm later nothing happened so i decided to risk the controllers wrath and descend to 11000 ft to see what happened. At 11900ft the ATC kicked in telling me to swing around 180 degrees back onto my approach path and everthing went as it should.So can anyone tell me why ATC took so long to get back to me and why as I started descending they suddeny started speaking to me. RCV4 does not recognise a tower for AGGH which I added using AFCAD although FS9 atc responds. The sceneryDB has been rebuilt. Any suggestions?

Hi guys, I just received my CD today. It only took a few days to get to me, and registration was completed in just an hour or two.Got it set up and ran a few quick flights. There are two things that are a little confusing to me.The first is in regards to the "Adv Display". The manual says to enable this. By default, mine was not checked but I already had a nice semi clear window that looked similar to the FS9 default ATC window. Everything worked fine. When I actually went to check the "Adv Display", it appeared but just flashed like crazy, unless I went into windowed mode. I just unchecked it and the window disappeared. Need to know if anyone else is experiencing this. I run the current version of Flightdeck Companion along with RCv4. To trigger my non-automatic checklists (basically the Prestart, before pushback, and before start checklists) I use the CTRL-Spacebar. When I do this, RCv4 menu kicks into "DIR checkpoint" option, shows the Next - 8 Main (nothing after main) menu. Pressing 0 (zero) will return it to the main menu even tho the option is not showing. Ctrl-Spacebar is not defined in RCv4. If you need a screenshot, let me know and I'll post what it looks like. Thanx!-Rick

Have been having a problem when flying into KLGA. Using the MIP3 STAR, I am left by ATC @ 11000 ft. when I need to be @ 5000ft (or less). After being cleared to 11000ft, I select the "request lower" option, but all I get is a screen with the options for other screens. If I click those I get a screen, numbered one to five down the left side but no options with the numbers. I selected the "request higher" option and there were higher altitude options. When I am given lower, I am cleared from 11000 down to 2000 and have to do a dive to try to arrive at the approach track at a reasonable altitude (and speed). Not sure if this is a problem with my setup, or I am doing somethin…

I need a key. Hi,I think RC is a great add-on. I have only one problem with it : I like to fly the published procedures but am unable to choose the option AIP untill I'm well into the STAR. Before that, ATC invariably starts chewing my head off because I'm straying from my flightplan.Is there a way to avoid this ?

Hi All, Just partially rebuilt my machine and have FSX on my E: Drive. Would it be best to install RC on my FSX drive or on my main drive? Or does it even make a difference. Thanks in advance. Craig
