Hi, I've scanned the manual and the FAQ but didn't find anything about this subject (at least I think so). After launching RC (the Des Moines - O'Hare tutorial) there are no voices to be heard. I've fiddled with all the sliders that are in FS2002 but to no avail. Trying the voices in RC doesn't work (nor the voices on the voices page nor pushing the sound icon to hear the call sign on the general page). After closing down RC my default ATC sound quality is terrible and nearly audible. Luckily I've been able to restore it by shutting down the pc and restarting it. I run FS2002 on a W98SE system. I'd like some help please. Do I have to make a logfile (and for how long)? Sh…

I wanted to get a clarification on this option. As I read the manual, I'm to understand that checking this option will allow RC to change the behavior of AI aircraft, within limits. It also activates the AI Chatter.Now if I uncheck this option I assume the AI's are not interfered with but it also unchecks the AI Chatter box. So would I then check pre-recorded chatter?I'd like to be able to hear the AI chatter, but would rather not have the actual AI behavior tampered with. Possible?Thanks

Hi,I accidentally uninstalled my rcv4 while cleaning my hard drive and I send an email to you this morning (GMT). I have not recieved a new code yet and was just wondering if you had got my email? If you are busy with other things I quite understand.Also do I need two new keys as my CD version is 4.0 and I want to upgrade to 4.2 as I originally had before uninstall? Do I have to send you a second email after installing 4.2 or can you send both keys together?Thanks for your help and such a wonderful add-on.Andy S

Hi, just received my RC4.2 through the mail.;-)2 questions.1. What happens when I install RC with the FSUIPC I already have? Why isn't is possible to install without FSUIPC?2. Is it possible to run RC on another pc then the one FS is running (so networked) to relieve that pc from the workload? Hello!How do I get the callsign of twin Cessna?It is not avialable in the selection list under the Airline / Company name.However, if a RC4 controller calls your aircraft out (like a Cessna 310) he will use the words "Twin cessna" to identify your aircraft.But under all other ATC communications, he will use the call sign selected from the Airline / CO. Name selection list.I would like to be a ble to select Twin-Cessna as the call sign instead of just Cessna.Thanks!Scott :-)

Hello,A while ago i opened a post about this problem, i can't find it anymore. But after a cooldown period, i tried to fly again, yes i can, but i noticed some problems with my scenery, so quit FS, and made some changes in AFCAD. After that, i decided to Rebuild Scenery DB in Radar Contact, but after that when i started FS9 again and load the flightplan i made in Radar Contact, i got the error message. So i found out, it gives the error after Rebuild Scenery DB. Can you help me again. Only thing that helps is removing Radar Contact and install it again completly new.Peter

Hi there,My apologies if this has been addressed elsewhere, however my review of the forums to date has been fruitless.When I start the ADV Display my display (3840*1024) stops immediately above the display window. Eg when I open the ADV display, everything below the screen window is black (ie no image). If I move the display window to the bottom of my monitors display I can view 90% of my virtual cockpit.Ideally I would like to have the ADV window displayed top right but until I can sort the positioning and displaying a full cockpit I

Just installed RC4, generated FP, loaded RC4 and I'm having white squares instead of fonts in the upper-left corner menu. So far, the program is unusable due to corrupted menu fonts. All other programs that used FS2004 fonts, work nice.WunXP+SP2, FSUIPS (3.7) registered.

Everything great enroute from KMIA-EGLL. At 45 mi out from Heathrow I get my ATIS, etc. I'm now due west of the field. I'm vectored to heading 205 and told to maintain FL 120. The recording to maintain FL120 keeps repeating until I'm 60 miles south and well over the Channel. Nothing changes. RC seems to think I'm not at the right altitude. Finally I buck the system and turn back. RC doesn't like that. I finally did get a good vector to 27L and all was good from there and I was only 1 minute late from the real life schedule. Not too shabby. Did I read there was some issue at Heathrow? Or was I just too impatient. 60 miles south seemed a bit out of the ordinary …

I'm getting more experienced with RC now and often manage to fly a flight without too much criticism at the end of it! However one problem still dogs me....As I approach the destination airport I get the request to "start down now please...."No problem with that except that with my preferred aircraft - Rikck Piper's Viscount - I have to set fuel trimmers back to zero before beginning a descent. This takes a few seconds.Obviously it's too long for the rather impatient controller as I get an "altitude busted" warning before I can actually start the descent. Hey everyone, just upgraded to newwest version, everythign was running smootly i did flight from orlando to panama, i had to pause the sim then next morning i see that fs crashed, it does that once in awhile so i restarted the sim did the same flight over and ever since then nothing happens when i try to contact controller or get weather. I have newest version of fsuipc and advdisp. any ideas guys? when the sim crashed i didnt check what cause the crash. thanks for any help

Hi, I have the following problem : When I ask for initial clearance, ATC clears me to feet. Literally. I have text on as well and that's what it says : just feet. So I'm busting my clearance everytime. I can't really use Radar Contact like this and I hope there's a solution for this otherwise brilliant programthanksMartin

This is what I do at unfamiliar airports.I contact FS ATC for straight out departure then after being given my assigned runway, activate prog taxi, disable fs atc, load this into fsnav, export, start RC load up exported plan 99-100 RC asigns the same RWY. pb and taxi with prog taxi to asigned RWYGerry

J.D.I have just completed an IFR flight from YPAD to YMML, a distance of 350 miles. During this trip I was assigned four different transponder codes.In Australia that just does not happen. There are only two enrote centres in Australia, Melbourne and Brisbane. Each centre has been given its own block of codes and they are allocated on a flight by flight basis and for the whole flight. New codes are NOT assigned crossing sector boundaries within both the Melbourne and Brisbane FIR's.Regards,NeilYPAD

HiAlong with radar contact I use FSPassengers which is able to simulate many different failures in flight. With FSPassengers you have to declare 7700 in an emergency yet if I change this whilst using radar contact I get a message from rc to verify my squawk code, and then I get penalised by FSpassengers for not declaring the cprrect squawk code. Any chance to change this is V5 so that you are asked to squawk 7700.Thanks

Dear All:I LOVE RC. However, I am having a problem - the background chatter is way too loud when I am using FS2Crew for the PMDG 737. I can barely hear the Pilot & F/O dialogue when the background chatter .wav files are playing. Is there a way to globally lower the volume of these files to a lower level. I LOVE the .wav files, as they are real recordings, but at this volume, it is hard to fly with them.Finally - is there a way to have RC direct me to the gate after I land? It seems that after I leave the runway after touchdown I get no options to taxi to any gates. Any ideas?Chris Catalano

The problem i have is whenever i save a flight and i go to recall it, it basically isnt there (using the "load previously saved rcd.).I have used the three methods described in the RC4 manual, but nope, no matter what method i use, the flight hasnt been saved.PAN PAN PAN!!!!!!!

I notice in RC, there don't seem to be as many Center frequency changes as in the stock FS9 ATC. Sometimes in FS9 you were changing frequencies every few minutes, especially Kansas City and Washington.Can't say that I mind.Other thing is, I need to be clear on the chatter thing.I've turned off ALL FS9 ATC. I do get occasional AI interaction in RC but sometimes there are long periods of quiet even when I can see other AI's around me.I have only 'AI Chatter' box checked but do not have the 'pre-recorded chatter' box checked. I understood that the second doesn't need to be?Just want to make sure I'm getting the most out of my chatter.Now that I'm becoming more comfortable…
