Hi Trying to find a solution to my problem. After i have filed a flight and ask for clearance i am told to depart and climb to a level of 6000 ft. I have not long taken off and i here RC tell control that i am at level 6000, i am not even at 2000 yet. Soon after wards i am told to climb to the next altitude, for example 35000, again RC will tell ATC that i have reached that altidue and i am no where near it, the same happens whatever altude i am directed to. My last flight i was at 5000 ft and RC told ATC my altidude was 34000. Sorry if i havn't explained it good enough. Hope some one can help. Regards Shaun

Hi,First let me start by saying that this is not a Radar Contact problem. I'm posting here anyway since it affects RC and maybe someone else has come up with a solution.On certain airports, EKCH for example, I will very often be assigned a runway for takeoff or landing that gives me a tailwind component, sometimes quite strong. AI traffic is happily taking off and landing in the "wrong" direction, so either I accept the tailwind, or I risk getting a really closeup view of another plane travelling in the opposite direction.Does anyone know why this is happening? Is there some way to fix it?I'm using ActiveSky X and MyTraffic X along with RC.Tom

I made a flight from KPIT to KJFK with RC4. Close to KJFK during final ILS approach 13L I experienced an mid air collision with another plane. Should I not expect RC to vector and clear me in a way that keeps me at safe distance from other planes?

Now heres my prob.I have RC which was working fine, I have reged version or FSUIPC worked fine.Bought activesky x, had to reinstall simconnect, now activeskyx works fine, and guess what, cant reinstall FSUIPC and radar contact IPC error comes up becuase FSUIPC doesnt work......Man MS need to sort this problem out quickly.Would RC FSUIPC work on one ver of simconnect and activesky on another????Its getting rather boring doing these reinstalls, and MS need to make a fix for this.......... I think I have flown some 6 hours this week and spent near 24 sorting out simconnect

Hi,I have a problem when taxing on big airports (for example LIRF,LEMD,LFCG) with busy AI traffic on the ground. The fact is thatRC gives me a 'taxi to the ramp' or 'taxi to the holding position (hold short)' clearence but it doesn tell me what taxiways to take.So, I must decide myself which taxiways to take and it happens a lot of times that an AI aircraft turns straight towards me, sometimes the AI aircraft stops in front of me, sometimes the AI aircraft simply runs into me - crash !Who, RC4 or the FS AI engine', controls the ground movements of AI airctrafts ? Is there any way how to detect which taxiway an AI aircraft will take ? Are there any general rules for taxing…

Is there a way to adjust the volume of RC in relation to the other sounds in FSX? Or just adjust the Volume of RC?

Since using radar contact my autopilot is having problems capturing the glideslop on ILS approaches. The horizontal needle tracks perfectly so I'm not sure whats going on. Any suggestions? Capt.Mac

Sometimes appears in the ATC messages: "CS/unable to comply", without a keystroke to make that message be sent, how can I use it ?

Is it real that you get an altitude warning, restatement of your expected altitude and 5 ( mabe a little longer, but seems like 5 ) seconds later if your not responding you get another ..busted altitude message.. etc..I would think this process should take maybe at least 2 or 3 minutes for a controller to even notice.What is is like in real life.. ( even though I doubt it occurs in life like I do it in the sim :-) )?

Hi, JD. Recently I've had a couple of flights where the controller was giving me a altimeter reading that was way too low... 24.34, 24.66, etc. My altimeter won't go that low (In PMDG or LEVELD) and I keep getting chewed out for busting my altitude. I've tried using the "B" key to reset the altimeter but it will still just go to the lowest setting which is somewhere around 27.00. Any suggestions? I'm using Active Sky X, by the way.

I will be getting a new rig shortly and I was wondering, in order to re-install RC 4.3 or transfer to another computer will I need my original registration key to do so? Or I was thinking could I simply transfer the entire RC4 folder from my mirror drive (external F: drive) where I have backed up my current C: drive? Regards,Tom

Hi,sometimes it happens that, during cruise and following the plan, I got the ATC asking me to turn to the exact opposite direction until "resume navigation Direct to..." I can't understand which logic inspire this behaviour since, looking at the map, I'm exactly on the path.CheersLorenzo

I have a run time Error 75 Radar Contect fsuipc.rcv4code........abd cannot seem to fix this problem.

Just got this and couldn't get it to run so I uninstalled and reinstalled like I would with any other software. Now it's asking for a Reg key and the product id has changed. Do you have to get a new key every time you reinstall? I didn't change any hardware,or format a drive.Charles Harrisnew product ID 1044860791

Hello Gang!I just purchased RC4 - took the plunge. I have not been able to install it yet since I am stuck in Mexico City, courtesy of American Airlines. I am red/green color blind and as a result, I need to change the text color from the default red to a brighter color like green or yellow. Even though I can see and read the red text, when the text gets migled with other things on the screen such as cockpit instruments or scenery, on certain occassions it is difficult for me to read the red text.How can I change the color of the text in the text box?Thanks for yoru help!Sincerely,Dennis D. Has anyone used Radar Contact 4 with AI Separation ? I use it due to its much timely approaches than aismooth but when I am holding short of runway..i would see all AI getting clearance for take off but me..Anybody else have this issue?

I sent in a key request email on Apr. 5th in the correct format. So far I have not received any response. This is for a re-installation on a newly built machine. Can someone advise?Thanks,Jason

At what distance from the runway, on approach, will RC4 hold a/c waiting to takeoff? To me it seems like sometimes a/c on approach will show to be 5 miles and hold me, and other times 3-4 miles and clear me to taxi into position.In the next version, could this be revised, or made more intelligent? A KingAir at 4-5 miles will take longer to land than a 757 at the same distance.Thanks for any info!Rick

Hi Guys Firstly what an awesome program rekindled my interest in FS2004. Secondly, I have had this product for about a year and enjoy using it. Today I noticed when flying out of KSEA to KPDX that on being given permission to take off all AI aircraft came to a halt. Some on the taxiway others after having turned at the gate prior to taxi ( Probably all looking to see if I messed my takeoff up!!!!) Until this point I.E, clearance ,pushback and ground controllers the AI were moving as normal. I seem to recall that sometimes RC sometimes freezes AI aircraft in the vicinty of your own but to be honest I have never noticed this before. ( I don't run overly large amounts of AI)…

Would it be possible for the next version to pause when FS pauses?Sometimes if I have to change fuel after RC has started I will get an error with RC possibly due to FS changing to the fuel screen. Should this happen, and or can it be avoided?

Hi,Base on my flying history starting with RCV 3 with FS9 and RCV 4.3 with FS9 & FSX, until now i never get permission from the controller to maintained my speed decent beyond 250 knots below 10,000 ft even there is no other aircraft (i set traffic at 0%). anybody try and managed to get the permission? or maybe something that i miss? some situation i need to maintained high speed decent for number one approach.
