Hi folks,I just bought RC4 and did 3 flights with it. All of them departing from big airports, traffic set to 100%.Here's the issue: The tower asks me position and hold, and there's an AI traffic on final (ok). The tower clears me to take off (and I acknowledge it, ok). As soon as I start to roll (I'm still on the runway, just starting rolling), tower clears the traffic coming to land. Shouldn't the tower wait me to take off first?? What if I need to abort??Has this happened to anyone before? Hi folks, I've finally got RC up and running after some enlightening help. I've noticed that following takeoff and just as the climb phase has begun, I get a message from ATC (Radar Contact) saying they're not receiving my transponder. And RC only gives the following options "leave freq for weather, main 0, next 9".After using the default ATC in FSX, I've never done anything on this aircraft dealing with the transponder. My question is now since I have a more realistic version of ATC, do I need to do anything to provide transponder information for the ATC? Hello,I did search the forums and noticed several people had this problem. Since yesterday it seems to occur here also. However, I read all the time "send me a log" etc and then those threads end without any further messages about progress. I would like to know if there's a solution to this problem? Thanks:)Martin

I was looking into getting Radar Contact for FSX. I wanted to hear first how it actually sounded and I found a video on YOUTUBE. What I heard was very dissapointing. The proceedures may be more accurate to real life but the voice sets seem to take alot away from it. I have used editvoicepack to speed up the voice sets to wake up the ATC some but dont see any reason to drop 44.00. Am I wrong or did I just find a bad example of Radar Contact. Is there anywhere else I can go to to hear samples of it?

Hi,RC and Txt display are the only 2 programs running on a client PC (Windows XP - 1.9 Ghz) connected with FS through a registered Wideclient/Wideserver v6.75.Most of the time there is a big delay and upon checking it appears the CPU usage of the client PC is practically always 100 %.Take it this is not normal. Is there any remedy ?Kind regardsTony

I'm using Vista with FSX and the latest version of Radar Contact. Whenever I start in the cockpit and the I get the small ATC screen, I try to click 1 or 2 or any other key to execute a command option given by the ATC. But nothing happens. I tried exiting out of FSX, reassigning those keys in RC and still nothing happens. I uninstalled and reinstalled the Wilco Vol. 1 addon and Radar Contact and still nothing happens when I press the option keys. I've tried to select the window and do it that way - no effect.So, I'm not sure what is going on but this was $44 and I cant seem to use it!!! I built a new machine and I'm trying to get Radar Contact to work. You just sent a replacement key to me and I paste it in, Radar Contact pauses for a few seconds and then closes as it should. When I go to reopen it, it keeps asking me to register, and the whole thing starts over again. This is on a WideFs machine with payware FSUIPC -- registered and operating correctly.Can you help me? Is there anyway in RC to put in your PDC? Also change the expected FL on takeoff? KAUS is either 5K or 6K when in real life it's 4K. I can change the Departure freq. but can't the squawk on the PDC.

OK I got RC installed with a new key. I was able to rebuild the database this time. There is no item in the menu of FSX for a AVD display. When I run RC with a default FS aircraft(737) and just FSX running it loads and runs fine. I am able to get RC running with just FSX and the LDS-767 as well When I try to run RC with Active Sky X running I get the IPC timed out error. Is there something in the set up of ASX SP2 or RC that I have to change? This is the first problem I have had with ASX

HiI arent getting the proper weather from Active sky x into Radar contact.I have set the path to the root directory, but the QNH and weather is way off, RC saying qnh1013, ative skX saying 993.Can you help pls.
