Not sure if this has been already mentionned here and/or implemented in previous versions of RC (maybe a mapping key), I suggest after all the whistles and gongs have been added to the new version, to have a selectable option for the interface to connect to FS automaticaly once the sim has started. This for those of us or all of us who since it's mostly recommended to start RC after every other program if you miss to press (on current version) the start button and go into full screen mode, you'll have to come out of that (full screen) first in order to connect and start RC in FS. Hi,I have just aquired radar /c and have worked out how to use "text display" which is great,(I am very deaf)except that I can't get it to return to the menu to continue the flight,it keeps repeating the same line of text over and over.Any ideas anyoneTIA Alan

How come in RC after FL410 it starts going up 2000 ft at a time? ie FL410, FL430, FL450,FL470 etc etc, I was doing a flight in a Citation and filed for FL480, ATC assigned me FL490 so I decided to request lower and only had an option of FL470, thats when I noticed this, is this an error or something that has to do with real world procedures, I usually don't fly this high so I never noticed this before.

I just did a flight from VTBS to ZSAM in an Airbus A300.Cruising at FL350, the controller told me to descend to FL290. I asked for pilot's discretion, and he said no, so I started to descend. I wasn't getting any vectors, so I let the plan handle the LNAV and follow the flight plan.The controlers then gradually stepped me down in 5,000 foot increments. At about FL250, they did something I've never seen before- they asked me if I had obtained weather data yet. I said no, so then RC automatically gave me the ZSAM ATIS, the same way as if I had pressed the "leave frequency for weather" option.I kept descending, and slowed to 250 knots below 10000, and set my altimeter correc…

In FS9 I used FS Navigator to create flight plans and export FS9. RC4 would then easily use them. It worked like a charm.I how have a new computer with FSX. FS Nav. is not compatible.I don't think there is any way to make a flight plan in FSX and RC4 use it?Is there any freeware flighplanners that will do it?

Does RC4 support the PMDG MD-11?

I created a flight plan on FSBuild for the PMDG B737. The plan is in the PMDG flight plan folder. However, when I started Radio Control, and tried to load the flight plan, the PMDG flight plan folder appeared empty. I had to have FSBuild send to flight plan to FS2004. In Radio Control I found the flight plan in the FS2004 flight plan folder.I know the flight plan was loaded into the PMDG flight plan folder, because I saw it there, and also because the flight plan appeared in the FMC of the PMDG 737.I thought that Radar Control accepted flight plans created for PMDG aircraft, as well as Level D B767 300ER?Am I doing something incorrectly?Thanks.Stanner

hello, i use RC in conjunction with the FSX PMDG 747-400x with FS2CrewI normally fly it in a long route from london to san francisco. at the final part of the cruise i am at 39000 ft.the fmc calculates the top of descent about 120 miles from the airport, but RC tells me to descent way earlier, over 200 miles from san franciscoin real life isn't the pilot that asks for descent at a reasonable moment unless the ATC telling him to descent?? i'm confused because i cannot predict the moment i will start descent, so i have to do the approach briefing and descent checklist when i am already descending, which isn't quite realisticis this normal in RC or have i to do something??t…

Hi,I just started a flight over the atlantic and about 30 minutes after departure, my computer "half crashed" it shut down rc and internet explorer but fs is still running fine...Is there anyway i can start rc again, and "continue"?=)

The voices in RC4.3 are garbled and sound like they're in a coffee can and impossible to understand. I re-installed the program with the same result. Am I missing an update or a patch?I'm running Vista 64, 6 gigs of ram, and an Nvidia 9800 GTX+ video card. On-board "Realtek" sound through a Creative HS-1200 Headset.Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanx. :)

I just wanted to know beaacause i am reading that radar contact has an co-pilot but i use the fs2crew co-pilot for all my flights and i wanted to know if they work together and what i would have to change if they did.

I have reinstalled RC4 from the CD under Windows 7 RC. The installation went without errormessages. But when I try to run RC4 I get this message'Component MSCCOMCT2,OCX or one of its dependices not correctly registered : a file is missing or invalid'and RC won't run at all. What to do about it?

Hi all,I use my traffic x with RC4.3 and am having an issue with AI chatter. It works fine, but I don't hear any company callsigns except my own. Every other Airline in the game uses phonetic alphabet letters as their callsign. It seems like a waste of all the incredible callsigns included. Is there a way to fix this, because my sim would be absolutely perfect if it did.Thanks in advance... _mat

Hello, I'm test driving Windows 7 RC1. I've installed RCv4.3 and received a new key. I opened the program by right click and "run as administrator" . When I try to add the new key and I press the register button, nothing happens. Has anyone else tried to install Radar Contact in Windows 7, and have you run into this problem? Any help would be appreciated.DISREGARD... It finally installed :(

Greetings,I've been using RC4.3 for quite some time now and just yesterday a certain issue has started popping up, and now it happens every flight. I will be flying my assigned altitude and Radar keeps telling me that I need to fly my assigned altitude. My QNH is set correctly, my altitude indicator is the same as what FSX says my altitute is (using ctrl+z to check that information), but RC thinks I'm not at the correct altitude. I've been flying with FLight1's ATR 72-500 when this has been occurring. Until yesterday I have had no issues with this using this plane. For some reason RC4 will not give me a wx report or a clearance by FSS. I've filed a flight plan CNY3 YSM CYTZ. All the frequencies for CYTZ come up on the controller screen. A flight from CYTZ-CYQA works OK though. I'm running RC ver 4.3.3845 on a networked machine with FSUIPC ver. 3.90, XP and FS9. I've not had this problem before. I've received FSS clearances on several occasions.

JDI sent you a log a few days ago because for some reason im not able to line up with the runway and hit the ILS. I have tried at several airports. At IAH i tried Rwy 26L and RC vector me way across 26L and I have to go missed and be revectored back to 26L and then I can hit the ILS. I also tried at TYS and the same thing at 23R RC took me to the other side then cleared me to land and I was behind the landing runway. The log may have went to your junk mail as my email addy changed.
